i have shared my games with others before...you can forward your code for ER games with the code on it..thats how i did it..then i enter it under my user name and then good to go.can use it on 5 computers..plz try it..e-mail is ....
First of all what's ER (should that be EA?) and is it possible for me to help this person in this way? Would like to help if I can.

Probably did mean EA. And what you need is the email address and the registration code that came with the game. Just download the game and enter that information. If you're sharing a code you have, then just send the person your email address and code, and they can get it that way.
Then, they will log in using their own Pogo screen name.
I know for sure you can do this on up to 5 computers, but somewhere here someone else posted they think it's 9.

for the deluxe games a person can use it up to 5 times on different computers. So 1 person could buy the game and share it with other people

What happens if you share the code with one person but they share it with 5 more after that?
Does that mean you end up with a game that you paid full price for that you can't use your own code for anymore (like if you get a new computer or something like that)?

There's a whole nuther thread on that. LOL I was wondering the same thing, and it sounds like that's a strong possibility. Even if you have to reinstall the game for some reason, it uses up your allotment.

Thanks for the info, that's what I was afraid of. That's why I haven't given out any of my codes to anyone asking for them online. Well, that, and the fact that I'm really broke and I still have to pay full price so what's fair is fair and code-begging kind of chaps my hide a little...LOL
But yeah, it even makes trading game for game seem risky. If you give a code to someone, and they use their "freebie" from you to trade for the next new game and the next one, and that person trades it to someone and so on... you're basically buying the game for 5 other people on the net and screwing yourself out of your own registration.

It was tongue in cheek, hence the laughing emoticon after it. Don't most of us wish we could make that kind of money.
Thou I do stand by my comments that these games are overpriced. You pay your subscription it's unfair (IMO) that you have to pay for extras like these games and gems. After all you wouldn't go to a shop to buy a jacket and expect to have to pay extra for the sleeves and the buttons. But as for making money from subscriptions themselves, fair do's to them, they came up with an idea that worked and made them money, something most of us strive to do to make a better life for ourselves and our families.

There used to be an email address but now this is how they tell you to do it....
Go to pogo.com, click on Help then go to the Contact Us section. Complete the drop down menu and include the email address you used to register, your name and billing address. They should email it back to you.

I got the same thing. If you're on Vista, find the game icon (probably on your desktop) and right click on it. Even if it is already set, choose Run As Administrator and then load the game from there. That's the only way I got the patch to work. Good Luck!

You're all so much more trusting and giving than I am. I shared my code to a game one time and that person turned around and "re-gifted" the code to a few of his closest friends. When I buy a game, I have my own and 3 other computers to put the game on and to have someone pass it out like that screwed me over. And trust me, I'm not being critical of those who share, you're very generous people. In fact, I start feeling guilty because I'm afraid to share anymore. Maybe I'm just being paranoid... but once burned and all that....
I had regifting happen to the first game I ever bought and when I had to get a new computer I was shocked to find I could not put my own game on the computer. I now am discriminating in who gets it. Even cheats have to be smart about it.
I am willing to share the codes that I have personally purchased but I will never regift. It is not fair to the person that gave you the gift in the first place. Plus I won't gift to someone that has just joined the site ( maybe one or two posts) because you know that thats all that they are here for. I know I don't have as many posts as some of you guys but I do try to give advice and play the games and try to respond to whatever I can. And when I do share a code I ask that my info (email addy) is not shared with anyone else and Yes I do trust people...maybe thats not such a good think but I don't think its a bad thing either (hope that that makes sense lol) Happy Pogoing and Merry Christmas everyone. :<<

I definatly agree with everyone about not regifting. Any of the codes that I share are the ones that I have bought and I always give my code first before the other person gives theirs, just to make sure no one has regifted on me. I have been thankful that no one has "abused" me for my codes. I have met soo many nice people when it comes to sharing codes! Thats why I enjoy it!

U know that is really weird, I have never had a problem but my cousin today tried to purchase underground and it says that the order has been put on hold and she had to call them. So she wrote to them cause you cannot get thru and she called the bank and they said her card was fine so that is strange.

All one has to do is click on a persons user name and find out how long they've been registered here. You have been posting since March, so you're not someone who was just doing an internet search for free pogo codes, happened on this site and decided to scam someone out of thier code. Sign in to Pogo, on the main page, under where it says My Favorite Games...at the bottom it says
Edit My Favorite Games, go into that section...ok. In the left column it says All Pogo Games, scroll down and close to the bottom it says Word Whomp Underground, click add to your favorites, click save changes. Then it will be listed in your favorite games section. Go back to the main page and click on it to play. You will then have to download it to play. I hope this helps.

I'm not so sure we should allow this topic to continue. Not much good seems to be coming out of it lately.
I hate to say it but if you are going to share your codes with people you should expect to be ripped off. I know not everyone is dishonest but there sure seems to be alot of people who are. ::)
It really chaps my hide when people think they are entitled to share codes that they themselves did not purchase in the first place. It's RUDE, it's INCONSIDERATE to the person who shared their code with them and it's STEALING!
Just a suggestion to everyone, maybe from now on, when someone offers to trade a code with you, find out who the original purchaser was and when you receive the email address, email them and ask their permission first.... even include the name of the person who is offering you the code, that way you will know for sure that it's ok to do so, and if it's not, the purchaser will know who is passing out their codes. Think about it... if you bought the game and shared 1 code with a friend, would you want that friend passing the code around without your permission? I highly doubt it.
And while I am still on my soapbox... remember back when Homer and Mayhem had the contest for Operation? I got several PMs and emails from people giving me the code they had won and I know for a fact they were never given permission to do so. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say that maybe they didn't realize the codes had a limited amount of usage. I never accepted the codes and didn't tell you what I really thought, but here goes... How horribly rude to steal from Homer and Mayhem who do so much for us! I want to say that I was glad you thought of me, but then the more I thought about it I would have to ask 'exactly what do you think of me' that you would assume I would accept "stolen" property? Well, then that's different! Bann code sharing? I think this is first time I've looked in the thread. I tend to keep to myself when it comes to this subject. I've been aked if I wanted a code but never have asked for one.
I have shared my codes with people I know well and trust, and I have received codes from people who tell me they paid for the code originally, so it can be really great to share. I'd hate to see the thread shut down all togehter.
Guess there is no easy solution.

I purchsed WW and as soon as I bought it I came here and PM'ed peeps that have already shared with me. I will only share with members who I feel we will honest and not share my codee with anyone else. I feel the same fustrations as most members who have been here awhile. I want to trust people but its hard when you don't know them. But I have been posting for awihile and I think that I can somewhat judge which people to trust and whom not to trust like the newbies with one post asking for a code.

The beggars can find us easily enough. All anyone has to do is put Pogo cheats, cheat programs, or anything like that into a search engine.
That's how I found this place.
I've shared codes I've bought myself with a few people on here, and I've had a few very nice and fairly new members share their code with me. I have NEVER and would NEVER give a code that was given to me by someone else to ANYONE ELSE....thats just WRONG!
If they can trust you well enough to give you such information, you should never betray that trust!
It's a shame this couldn't be controlled like the secret board we had awhile back, but with the newbies going to games and stuff to get their count up that wouldn't matter, maybe if we could go by how long you'd been a member instead of post count.
I've been here over 3 years and I don't have a large post count at all, but I'm here several times a day just reading mostly. I've never gotten really friendly with anyone here, my own fault for being so reclusive but there are those I do consider friends and most I've never been in contact with ever.
You have regulars that come and hang out thru out the day, and then you have those like Homer and Tara that just come here to fight and slap each other :))) Poor Mayhem the one that gets picked on the most but we all love (OO)
and I've seen so many come and go and some were pretty cool people and it leaves you wondering what happened to them and how they are doing ie... justahumping I know had been ill, trini queen? geez alot more.
Some are not to be spoken of but were a blast while they were here, and some just disappear never to be heard from again.
This forum has changed alot over the years, but it seems that recently we have had a rash of newbies just here to get what they can and use other members, but also in this rash of newbies has also come some wonderful new members if maybe not a little too trusting ie... eebared, be careful hon!
I've rambled on enough which I usually don't do, but it's a sad day for this forum when topics have to be locked because there is so much abuse occurring amongst members 6_6.gif

I'm not sure anymore how many times a code can be used before it's no longer usable.
I've heard 3x's, when I've bought them myself I was told during download they were good 5x's, but now you hear that it is endless :-\ I just don't know. I don't want you to buy games then God forbid your computer crashes and you have to reinstall just to find you can no longer use codes you paid for with your own money.
I know a lot of people out there live on a limited income and I would truly like to help these people who really are in need, and not just greedy, so I applaud you for your kindness. Just be careful dear and watch out for yourself because it really is the kind hearted that get taken advantage of.

Its a good thing you found them. I heard recently that they are charging $10.00 for a copy of each registration code.

I found all my codes except for Word Whomp Underground and Oberon Media will not answer my request.

If you saved your emails from your purchases on the 2GO games your info should be in there

Well the Poppit Show or Word Riot Deluxe codes that I got don't work for me for some reason. Even after copy and pasting several times it still says wrong email or key.
The Word Whomp code didn't work...but thank you so much for the Poppit Show!
