Can someone please help me understand why NOW....?
Since I have got all the MIX N Match Badges and Books...
Which add up to finishinging the BOOK 8....and the Start of Book 9...
WHY DIDN'T I/WE GET THE SECRET MIX N MATCH BADGE AS WE DID FOR ALL THE OTHER MIX N MATCH BOOKS....? :ooo
I REALISE THAT WE GET THEM FOR THE premium BOOKS...But also have looked to confirm to ask why...WHY?....WASN'T THERE A SECRET MIX N MATCH BADGE TO SHOPW THAT THE BOOK IS FINISHED...?

i noticed that last night when i finished that#8 album....and no secret badge...they better find one...it is all about badges for me...i want my badge...we gettin less for our money all the time....grrrr
I finished my #8 album this evening & got the secret badge :D
I went to the Badge Central and clicked on Special Edition Badge Album - I do not see my badge for album 8 which is finished, but I did see this in the Badge 6 (I think) Book Badge:
Piecing it Together Secret Mix-n-Match Badge
Complete any Mix-n-Match Album of 20 challenges for a random chance to earn this Badge
Note that it says RANDOM
The 8th Premium Badge Book is Called A Piece or Cake! Look in your SPECIAL AWARD BOOK that is where I found mine I have 3 other Albums that is why I do not know them by number just by name I have them ALL and have completed them too! Did you know you receive about 6500 up on Completion of each Album?
When Pogo set up the Mix and Match albums, there were SEVEN " random" surprise badges made at that time. We did not all receive the same badge for each book completed, but we did receive one of the seven badge images.
I have wondered what they were going to do when we finished Mix and Match album #8 for a month or so, off and on. I think they forgot to make more.
The idea that the awarding of the badges is random is not correct. The image on the badge awarded IS random.
Here is what Pogo has to say about the badges from their Premium Album page:

"Special completion badges! In addition to the Premium Challenge Badges, when you complete all of the challenges in a Premium Badge Album, you get an extra bonus completion badge!"
The Mix and Match albums are definitely Premium Albums. They cost a lot more to complete than the short little themed albums.
I wrote CS using the Help button and hope everyone else will too. After all, it's all about the badges. :) And having the best cheats on the Market, ROFLOL.

I said the BOOK 8 * Not Premium BUT MIX N MATCH
I should have typed it clearer....( They do not show in the Special award book that you mentioned(ABOVE)
I'm still waiting for a response from POGO/EA Tech support...On why a lot of us haven't received the Bonus Secret MIX n MATCH finishing BOOK Badge,...when I find out I'll pass on if no one has....
ALSO I noticed that Badge Central only shows the MIX n Match Book collections now......

May 21, 2008. I'll have to go back & check all my secret badges & see what I have. Are we not getting em in the same order maybe?

Like many people here and elsewhere, I have completed every Mix and Match challenge to date.
Here's what Pogo had to say when I wrote them asking about the free badge for completing M and M Album 8:

Just like the coveted Beta Tester badge not ever being awarded. I've SEEN the Beta Tester badge- it's on another Pogo Fan site that doesn't talk about cheat programs.
The badge has now been added to our accounts. It is the Jumping For Joy badge.

Thanks! I've been holding off getting the last badge in the album until it was fixed. I played it today and got the Canasta badge and the Secret Badge.... woohoooo it's workin'!
my super badge has not been added to my badges....i hope they never forgot about me... canadian2.gif
If you notice they have been taking longer and longer too give us The new mix and Match badges.
Used too get them around the 15th now it's like the 21th.
There allways has too be a weekly badge too play along with them now. :%#

The real reason POGO changed the new Mix and Match challenges...was to match up with my American Express Card due date.

I finished M&M book 8 and got a badge called Jumpin' for Joy secret badge. BUT........
I had to look in the special badge section of my badge book to find it.
It did not pop up after the last game, nor do I know if bonus tokens were received for compleation.
The badge only showed up in my book after I went to look for it. Badge central...then special edition.
It was two days after finishing M&M 8 that I found I did indeed get a badge.
I have also noticed this problem with other challenge badges. I have had to go back
to the activate this challenge page and click Make this my Favorite Badge. After that I click back to my real favorite badge and the missing badge appears in my book.

Just got my mix & match badge for #8 but was working on mix&match #9 did 5 before I got it.

just finished book #8 and got jumping for joy badge. It popped up after completing last challenge. hope everyone gets there's to show up now. :!!

I don't know if this has been address as to why no badge yet or not but I wrote to Pogo and this is there reply:

if you did all the new mix n match badges and didnt get the jumping for joy mix n match special badge then redo one of the easy new ones and see if it will pop up. i just finished my new ones by finishing the spades one and i got both.

Gee alot of you are lucky to have been able to do badge book No8. i didnt buy it as i cant do alot of them, So i stick with M&M for now.
I wrote them also about this but no reply and usually they are prompt.
