Hi Homer..and/or anyone that can relate or Help,
Well I recently up dated from XP serv`pack 2 to XP serv`pack 3....and reinstalled IE7 and upgraded AVG...
When I play a game, all of a sudden the game with the auto would look like the game froze....yet I can still type in the chat...But the game wont play and I would have to close the room and open another room....
And at times then it might just click off the whole screen and return back to my Desktop... :=
I have contacted Microsoft to help me stage by stage with each application....And they advised me to UN-Install ADOBE flashplayer...
But I need that for the Badge Help SITE BUT they advised to download the latest version rather than relying on the auto download that BadgeHelp Offered....
However again as before all the above happened I still get a Pogo game or room Freezing and then a quick second then everthing is gone and I'm back to my DESKtop :OO
I DO HOPE THAT YOU CAN HELP, And advice me where or what to do to fix this on my puter by a list of steps?
I have read a lot of your advice and see that you understand the marriage link to have both sites work smoothly...
warm regards and I await your helps,
cheers,
Tekahu
I would try uninstalling Sun Java and reinstalling it (java.com).
Flash has nothing to do with pogo .. their games requires Java.
I have the same problem and have restalled Java fifty times . sometime it works and 75% it goes back to my desktop :'((
Yes I reINSTALLED Java from the Java site......
And feel the same as Joy........ girls18.gif...where's my tissues./..lol
I just want things to run smoothly and Play Pogo with NO Tech` stuff ups...thats all, is that too much to ask?....
I will try java again......But do you think that it is with Java that this might come/relate too..?
I'll try anything so anyone else...please.......
cheers,
TaKahu...
Just a thought but could AVG be the problem
I thought that but going through AVG there wasn't anything that I saw that would.......shut down IExplorer7 to Desktop within a blink of you eye......
and then i waited again...then moved the mouse and it did it again.....;.
I hope that it is Pogo stuffing up as IT DOES.... and will go back to normail......
any other views?
cheers,
Tekahu
It's definitely a java issue as Mayhem said. If sun java isn't working try MSJVM
