:OO Is anyone else having trouble with Euchre Player? I don't know this game at all and playing with 3 bots. I have vista operating system.and when the message 'Defend Alone' comes up , it stops and refuses to click yes or no.
Are you using the latest version? I also have Vista and while the game has been updated and still makes mistakes, it isn't hanging up, freezing or shutting down. I'm happy with it and got 3 badges with it today.
The auto is very very bad but since euchre doesnt have game award badges just the occasional challenege badge it is probably way down the priority list for a do over. the key to this game is understanding the trump order of cards. Lets say you declare diamonds trump. all diamonds are trump cards but the jack of diamonds is the highest trump card followed by the jack of hearts so for diamonds your trump card order form highest to lowest would look like this Jack of diamonds, jack of hearts, ace of diamonds, king of diamonds etc for hearts delcared trump jack of hearts, jack of diamonds, ace of hearts , king of hearts etc. for spades as trump jack of spades, jack of clubs ace of spades king of spades etc clubs as trump jack of clubs, jack of spades ace of clubs king of clubs etc hope this helps

And who thought of that name, Euchre? It reminds me the sound a cat makes when it's hacking up a hairball. Or something you find deep friend and served with a side of possum.

I was having the same problem and the operating system on my computer is Windows XP. But the strangest part was that it would not work at all with IE7 & MS Java. I had to switch over to Mozzila browser with Sun Java.
