So off we go to the new casino in Bangor, Maine which is a 45 minute drive for us. I wasn't expecting much but it was pretty cool inside and we got free t-shirts.
We decided on $50.00 each to spend...walking around the place looking for the right machine and who do I see but Spike grinning back at me from the front of a slot machine!! Poppit slots are alive and well...it was a 5 cent machine, 9 lines, the whole nine yards: jackpot spinner, the familiar sounds, and the bonus round is a mini Poppit game and you pop the balloons on the touch-screen. :D
I played $20.00, ran it up to $60.00 and lost it all. Walked around a bit more, went back to Spike and spent the other $30.00 and would you believe it I won $275.25 on one bloody spin!! :^*
Makes me wonder what other pies Pogo has their fingers in! :)))
WTG on the win! It would be interesting to know how many things they are involved in! WTG again!
yeah that machine been out for about a year or so.. I've been looking for it here but i've never seen one here..

If you're thinking about going just for the casino I would say no. All they have are slots and the off-track betting is across the street. The hotel is not open yet either.
If you are three hours on the other side of Bangor (we are on the Bar Harbor side) I would rather spend the time and the gas going to Foxwoods in Connecticut where they have what I call a "full-service" casino (table games and slots). My preferred game is Roulette and Foxwoods is the only place (or at least the closest) I'm going to get it.

I was down at Gulfport last summer at the casinos and saw the Poppit slots, didn't win, but was also surprised to see Spike. Congrats on you win :D
