a little birdie told me these were the three secret badges in monopoly..i do hope they change the requirements on them before they are active..i would think these are going to be a bit hard to come by..


Big Roller Badge...roll double sixes three times on same turn


Jail Bird Badge..get out of jail,only to return on same spin


Getting Crowded Badge...all 4 players land on same space

I just paid the .5 million to get out of jail landed on community chest and got thrown back in jail and I didnt get no badge :(

That has happened to me several times. I was thrown in jail 8 times during that game. This game just does not like me. :(

Ya know, they should have a jailbird badge.  I've been in sevearl games where all four human players have ended up in jail at once, all within a turn of each other.  All four of us were sitting in jail at once...I got thrown in jail 5 times once.  I only passed go twice that game becuase I was in jail so much. LOL

I saw a listing for these badges but they are in active. I suspect these will be changed since they will be nearly impossible to get. Pogo does seem to have a plan for them just not a good one

lets hope they do change them,i dont see how anyone could get double sixes three times in a row...i also hate this game,i dont find it at all interesting to play..

I think it is overly long, even the speedy game.  By the time you get through everyones turn, with doubles and cards...........and the popups are annoying. :///

pogo has really messed up Monopoly with going to jail so much. This was done on purpose to slow down ranks. 

They can really ruin a good game.

pogo is making these badges like xbox achievements..instead of actually playing the game..it now depends on dumb luck :"

justy got the getting crouded as well computer went landed on community and returned to go and i got the getting crouded as well. And i was using the cowboy hat .

I just got the jailbird badge. I just went to jail the first time and hit roll for doubles and I got it. Weird. Must not be working right.

I have a question for those that got the badge...under what tab were you playing? Pogo, official, family, etc? Were you playing with bots or just double browsing with 2 players? Does the badge pop up immediately or do you have to wait for the game to end? Thanks for any help!

I've been playing under the pogo tabs, all I have gotten so far is the jailbird badge first time I went to jail.

I just got that getting crowded badge after 3 games.  I was running the auto playing all bots.  I'll have to go to the other computer to find out what tab I was under.

On the jailbird one, I was in Custom tab, double browsing. Go to jail, hit "roll for doubles" (instead of paying to get out) and the badge pops up after your next roll.

I just got jailbird badge under pogo tab.

How does one "get out of jail only to return on the same spin"? I can't wrap my head around this one.  :o

Not a clue, sorry!  i got the jail badge X2 went to jail rolled for doubles got badge

When you go to jail, instead of paying to get out, click roll for doubles and that is how you get the badge!

This would entail going to jail and then landing on the Community Chest space and drawing a Go To Jail card.

However, I did what someone suggested previously which was to  stop auto when I went to jail and clicked on roll doubles when the choice came up instead of paying to get out. I did NOT get doubles, the game ended before my next roll, yet I got that Jail Bird badge. So...the description of the badge and what you actually have to do to get it do not match.

Hence, my confusion.  :-[

This badge award does make sense if you think about it logically :)

You are sent to jail
On the next turn you are out of jail, but to stay out you have to abide by the rules (pay, roll doubles, etc)
You choose not to abide
You are sent back to jail

BADGE AWARDED

Take a real life scenario (forgive any ignorance in the law I am not a lawyer)

You are in contempt of court
Judge throws you in jail
Judge brings to back to chambers for an apology/fine/community service
You choose to throw this back at the judge and not do what he/she tells you to do
Judge throws you back in jail

Well it makes sense to me  :)) :))

a trick for the crowded badge


Settings: Custom table - computer fills empty seats - allow watchers

Start the game, if the first roll is a 7 and you'll land on Chance AND draws the card that says "Move directly to 'Go.'" The players piece will circle the board, stop on 'Go,' - collect bagde!
If the 1st to go DOES NOT roll a 7, then stand and sit which starts over. Repeat till you get it.

I'm having great luck with the auto.  It runs really, really well and I've gotten both the Getting Crowded badge and the Jailbird badge using it.

sorry to jump in but maybe someone can help me. i was looking for the other monopoly topic but got lazy.

what settings are you guys using on this to rank out. i have trouble with games like these where you have to open the room with tables them open a table. qwerty and scrabble work fine but for some reason both dominos and this game keep closing after about a hour of playing. anyone else seem to have this problem. i use windows classic and have everything set like badge help says to do.

any help or feedback would be appreciated.

I see what you are saying but when I got sent to jail I never got out...I arrived and elected to abide by the rules and try for doubles (which I never got) and I got the badge.

I never did get out of jail because one of the tinheads won the game first.

I played under the custom tab, so you can set the table like you want, and can play without tinheads. I unchecked everything in options and played with a real person (well if you consider Homer a real person).  :)))
Try turning off anything extra you might have running and see if that will keep you at the table. Sometimes I turn my firewall off and that works for me, but everyones computers are different, so I don't know. :((

I don't mean you get out physically, I meant that in theory when its your turn you are out of jail, by not rolling the double etc, you get sent straight back in.  Your piece doesnt actually move, its just a useless paper exercise.

I just got the Big Roller badge.  That gives me all 3 secret badges.  The Free Parking Auto is fantastic!

it must be just me,but i think the auto runs slow on this...takes forever to get to the next rank,and im only on rank 6..lol.

Jewel - Thanks!  I don't know what actually had to be done.  I got all 3 badges with the auto.  Matter of fact, I keep getting the Getting Crowded Badge and the JailBird Badge over and over.

Misty - I'm having no problems with the auto.  It does take too long to rank in my opinion, but the auto is working great for me.

I just got done playing monopoly got double 6's 3 times went to jail didnt get th 6's badge but jailbird badge again x2 make's no sence to me!

i would love to know what popup keeps coming up while my auto is running,that it causes it to stop..when i leave it up and running,after about 45 minutes or so,i will check it and i get the popup blocker notice..i thought it might be one of the badges,but its not..it seems to only do it on this game...any idea as to what could be causing it?

I also got the big roller badge..played custom room with bots.that's all I know cuz was using auto and didn't actually see it happen..I started the game and left and like 30-40 minutes later came back and there it was..

Are the odds of rolling double sixes three times in a roll 46,656.  (6x6=36, so the odds of rolling double sixes are 1 in 36.  so 36x36x36=46,656)  If you get three turns in one minute, it should take you 259 hours...10 straight days).  When I start, I'll keep track of the time.

OK all, everyone is saying what badge they have, but can you tell me How you got them? I got the jailbird badge, but no 1 really tells me by reading this post. How do you get the others. Im open for suggestions on them PLease.  :OO

My suggestion would be to read this WHOLE thread. It's been explained three or four times.

i dont think there is any special way of playing to get them,they just pop up when you least expect them..just set your auto and let it go..

Ok, so I went to jail 3 different times, and each time I opted to roll doubles and didn't get doubles and ended up still in jail for 3 turns.  I didn't get the jailbird badge...   :'((  What am I doing wrong?  Or is this not working anymore?

I don't know if this is true or not, but I heard Pogo fixed the jailbird glitch.

I've got the jailbird one a few times & yesterday I got the getting crowded one. Now I just need to throw double sixes 3X...that ones gonna be hard!!!

I got the jailbird badge by not rolling doubles, but I think it was 2 days ago.

i got the double 6 badge 2 nites ago...and since then i got it  more times...it seems like its not hard to get...it happens without me there... :^*

Thanks y'all... I did end up getting it but not by the glitch, I rolled a 7 and got sent back to jail from the community chest.  So at least I got it  :D but I did the doubles thing several times after I posted and didn't have any luck with that so I'm sure they must've fixed it.

Still trying to get that crowded badge... driving me pogo crazy!!!! LOL

I'm not sure if this is the glitch or not, but I was running the auto, stopped it to change rooms and I was in jail and it asked if I wanted to pay or roll for doubles.  I rolled for doubles and didn't get them, but then the jailbird badge popped up again.

I've gotten that jailbird badge at least 8 times now, the getting crowded badge several times and the big roller badge twice.  All using the auto.

WTG ALL on the big roller badge!  :D 

Rank 40 here and still working at it.. I think my granny and I are wore out or POGO don't like us one :(

I don't know this for a fact but I heard that if you play under the custom settings you need it set for more than one maximum number of times in jail.  I couldn't get my jailbird badge to pop up under the custom tab even though others did so I went under the pogo tab and got my badge.

i just got rank 15. im playing 60 min games under custom i added every option to make each player get lots of money. i use free parking and checked where you get 4 million if you land on go and all taxes and fees go to free parking. thats just to ensure i dont go bankrupt in the 60 min time limit i set.

anyway i got my jail badge and just got the getting crowded badge like 5 mins ago using the custom tab and the auto.

ive got to rank 15 in less than 48 hours using these settings. by adding a lot of extra money to the games it keeps you alive longer to pass GO!! just some thoughts for everyone.

 :^* I got the Overcrowding Badge, in custom and Bot on first turn got CC card to advance to Go so piece went around the Board and ended up back on Go with other pieces and I got the Badge.  Now all I have to do is get one more  :!#

That is how I got the "crowding badge" too.  Hit new game until you are the first to go and hope to land where you get card that sends you to go and you will get it!
I have gotten the jail one about 4 times now and the crowd one 2.  Just working on the double 6's X3 !!

I have gotten the crowded badge, and the one for the jail bird.It is possible

The secret badges are there, I have got the jail bird badge 3x, and the crowded badge 2x. but i don't see how anyone will be able to get the double six badge 3x on a turn, i think it will be a bit impossible... :-\

I have two of the three now: Getting Crowded and Jail Bird. Both with an auto under the Pogo rules tab.  :^*

Why would you have to go to another site to see how to get the crowded badge, when THIS thread tells you how to get it?   ::)  Sometimes reading the thread will help answer your questions, but since you don't want to (since this is the second time I suggested it to you) I guess I will spell it out for you...

6.It took me 30 minutes on one of my names to get the badge, and on the second try for my other name to get it. It is doable doing it this way.
7. When the first person of the game gets to go back to go, that would mean you have all 4 players on go and you will get the badge.

taras the best  kinda followed your way but after the third or fourth time and not getting the advance to go i played a full round and we all landed on 5 and got it if it wasnt for you id probably never get it

This isn't about the badges, but I am wondering if anyone else is having problems keeping rank progress?  I checked a couple hours ago at rank 30 and it said I was going to advance to the next rank at the end of the game.  Then I checked again, just a little bit ago, and I was still at 30 but this time it said I needed 32 to the next rank.  Weird.  Anyone else having this problem?

I just had that happen! said I was at the next rank (when I landed on go) and I still needed 22

OK, thanks for the input.  Glad it isn't just me.  TriPeaks was horrible about losing ranks.  I saw a post from Tara explaining about leaving a room, then going back to the same room so it would give back the progress, otherwise I'd still be working on THAT cursed badge. !@#$

I remember this past weekend seeing the window that said, "You have passed Go a total of 2,455 times. You will reach your next rank at the end of this game."

However, the rank I was at (31) was much lower than what I should have been at (36) considering the number of times I had already passed Go.  Also with that number (2,455) I would not have ranked up at the end of that game since rank 37 requires you to have passed Go 2,483 times. :-\

So yes, I'd say there is a problem.  !@#$

i havent gotten it yet either,but im not even close to ranking out on this..im wondering if when they first added those three badges,i know people were getting them more than once,i would think that maybe there was glitch and the badges were coming up quite easily..i didnt play the game very much then,so i have probably lost my only opportunity to get the double sixes badge..

My other name has gotten the badge about 7 times now, but the name I use all the time can't get it.  :((

I've gotten 6's badge 2x and still keep getting the JailBird and Getting Crowded badges also.  I'm playing bots under the Pogo tab and just letting it run.

I've gotten the double six badge on one account and working on the second one.  I got the first one pretty early only passed GO about 7,000 times.  On the second account, I have passed go 9,467 times...still no luck.  It's been running straight for about 3 days.

I have all three of my secret badges for Monopoly now. Uncle Otto got the last one, the 3 sixes, while I was watching Survivor. I am only to rank 10...so it is all luck. I thought I would never get this one. Good luck to everyone else on getting your secret badges.

It tells you at the end of the game. I'm not sure but it might also tell you during game play as well when you pass go.

At the beginning of each new game, if you click on the "GO" square it will tell you how many times u need to pass GO for the next rank.  However it does not change once the game is in progress.

During game play, if your mover piece lands exactly on GO, it will pop up a screen that tells you how many times u have passed GO and how many to next rank.

Finally at the end of the game, it will tell you how many times you passed GO and how many more to next rank.

Hope that explains it...............

Pogo has updated it so now you can click on the go space and it will keep track during play. (It updates everytime you pass go)

The numbers STILL don't add up for me. I have passed Go more than 3500 times and I am two ranks lower than what I should be if those numbers are correct.  !@#$
