This isn't really pogo related, but it could affect my pogo :ooo. Ok I installed Malwarebytes, Glary utilities, and Ccleaner. I previously had AVG, but I had to uninstall it. So that I could run the trial trend Micro Internet Security Pro. My problem is that Avg picked up a trojan. Than when I rebooted my computer Anitvirus Xp 2008 took over my computer, now my desktop is all blue and I can't get the Antivirus2008 uninstalled. I know there is a spyhunter of sorts that will remove it for $30, But I plan on purchasing Trend Mirco..will this remove the antivirus2008 and trojan? How do I get my desktop background back? Which Trend Micro package does everyone perfer? I see they have the trent micro internet Security for $20.99 (3 computers) on ebay. I am trying to save myself from having to take my computer to a shop, trying to save some money. Trend Micro also had me uninstall Search and Destroy. Also Do I still neeed all these other programs- Malwarebytes, Glary Utilities, CCleaner...after I purchase Trend Micro? Thanks for all the help
The Trend software should remove the trojan. It does not remove applications. That needs to be done from the control panel.

I tried removing it in my control panel the antivirusXP, but it gives me a pop up stating that it can't uninstall. So aafter I purchase Trend Micro, will i still need all the other programs?
I only use one other program with Trend. That is Advanced Windows Care.
These two programs keep my pc's running pretty smooth.

Can you run the System Wizard and go back to before it was installed? This is how I get past most of the "stoopid" stuff I thought to install. bbq21.gif
