The Basics

1. At the beginning of the game, each player is dealt 6 cards. To start, pick 2 cards to remove from your hand, and press the "Send to Crib" button. You'll play with the remaining 4 cards. (In a 4-player game, each player is dealt 5 cards. Pick 1 card to remove from your hand.)

Card Value
King, Queen, Jack 10
2–10 value on card
Ace 1

2. Players take turns putting cards in the center of the table. Each player tries to make the running total of these cards add up to 15 or 31. The running total of the cards in play is called the count.

Example:
If your opponent plays a 10 and you play a 5, the count becomes 15, and you score 2 points.

If you can't make the count add up to 15 or 31, play any card. Players take turns playing cards until the count reaches 31.

If you can't play a card without making the count exceed 31, you automatically call GO, and the cards disappear. The count is reset to 0, and you play again
How to Score
There are many ways to score points in Cribbage. You score points by bringing up the count to 15 or 31 or by making scoring combinations.

Pair — 2 points
A pair scores 2 points. For example, if your opponent plays a 4 and you play another 4 on top of it, you score 2 points.

Pairs Royal (Three of a Kind) — 6 points
Pairs Royal scores 6 points. For example, if you play a third 4 on top of a pair of 4s, you score 6 points.

Double Pairs Royal (Four of a Kind) — 12 points
If you play the fourth card of the same value on top of a Pairs Royal, you score 12 points for Double Pairs Royal.

Run (Straight) — 3–7 points
Three cards played in order — like 5, 6, and 7 — make a Run for 3. A Run with 3 cards scores 3 points. If you play another card in order — in this case, either a 4 or an 8 — you make a Run for 4 for 4 points. A Run can contain up to 7 cards, and a Run for 7 scores 7 points. Cards don't have to be the same suit in a Run.

Quick Tip:
You can play cards in any sequence to make Runs — as long as they are in the same group. For example, 5, 6, 7 and 8 is the same as 8, 7, 6, 5 — they're both Runs. And here's where you have to keep your eyes open — 7, 5, 8, 6 is also a Run! Because the cards are in the same group, the group scores 4 points just like a regular Run. But if the order is interrupted — like 7, 5, King, 8, 6 — it is not a Run.

Flush — 4–6 points
4 or more cards of the same suit makes a Flush during the Show. The points you score depends on the number of cards in the Flush.
Hope this helps ;) .

I suggest you use two browsers and play well in one browser and poorly in the other.

You want to win pairs and try to get 15 or 31.....have the losing name throw out cards that you have so you can win pairs, a game takes about 10 min.  ;)

if u all have a basic understanding of the game, join a game where someone is playing a puter.  most of the time the puter is kicking ass and u can win your badge that way.  that is how i did it.  but don't forget u have to have a basic understanding of the game.  gl to all!!!

I used two browsers and got it in about an hour.  Like DJ says, you have to give the losing name bad cards and keep the pairs for your crib.  Make sure you can get 15 or 31 for yourself and not the losing name.
