My McAfee decided that most of my downloaded Oberon games have a trojan. Not all, but most. It won't let me restore them. Any ideas of what to do?
I did a system restore which sent McAfee into a tailspin, so I updated it and it did a scan saying that all those games had a trojan.
Grrr.
Hi stickerBell sounds like the problem i ran into a couple of months ago.
Do your games still work? I've noticed my Anti-virus does not like there updates too the games.
Hey, Mr. (OO) Nope, the games won't work. I ran a House Call and it didn't find anything wrong. I'm going to uninstall Mc. and install TrendMicro. I only kept Mc because it was warranty related.
if it's the samething that happened too me your going have too reinstall all your games..
Please don'nt do this too me! :%#
Nawww.... It's Christmas Eve, I won't :%# you! :))) I did a series of things.... I did a system restore to yesterday, uninstalled McAfee, ran House Call, installed Trend Micro, ran a scan, and everything is fine. The games work great, no re-downloading, no more problems. McAfreak must have had a brain fart.
Have a very Merry Christmas, my Clean friend!

Have a very Merry Christmas Stickerbell friend!!
I see you have already decided to do what I would have recommended: get rid of McAfee. Useless as t*ts on a bull. !@#$
The only problem I've ever had with Trend Micro is that sometimes it will identify the Hog Heaven cheat as a trojan. Not all the time...just once in a while. :)))
