Your return has been received and processed, however, your refund cannot be issued at this time.
Due to the state's persistent cash and budget problems, the State Controller has directed FTB to stop sending refund requests to the State Controller's Office for payment. Refund payments will resume when the State Controller indicates there is enough cash available to make refund payments.

I definately won't be getting any refund this year swear2.gif
Last year I was owed 19¢ and they spent govt money to send me a letter telling me that it was below the amount to issue a check and they would add it to the next year. Probably spent well more than triple the 19¢ to tell me than it would have to just issue a check. Well.............I have a feeling I am out of luck this year too! How do they expect us to stimulate the economy if they are holding our tax money for ransom for their failing to balance the budget? Had I owed 19¢ and didn't pay it, I would pay a hefty fee. I am going to write up a bill including interest and send it to Arnold. And today the DMV was closed - 2 Fridays a month starting today. I found this out the hard way. Since they have failed to do their jobs I think our State Senate, Governor, Lt Gov should have their pay docked until they can get it right.
