Bea Arthur Dies at 86

A family spokesman for Bea Arthur says the actress has died.

Spokesman Dan Watt says Arthur had cancer, but did not offer any further details. Arthur passed away at home early this morning.

Arthur is most well-known for her roles in "The Golden Girls" and "Maude."

How truly sad. Another wonderful golden girl has been taken away. Those four lovely ladies have given me many laughs and happy moments. Truly a loss. May she rest in peace.

Well that is sad! I absolutely detested Maude but enjoyed her in Golden Girls
