Ok I know it has been asked before but I just wanted new input on this question since we have so many new games. What are the easiest games to rank out in... I know Keno Pop can be done in less than two days and Hog Heaven can be done in around four days.... besides those two?
What games take forever to rank out in ....even with using an auto?
Perfect Pair Solitaire takes forever
wonderland memories goes pretty quickly 3-4 days. Lottso takes a good 2-3 weeks.
If you don't let the pogo jr police get to you (and you keep your chat off) boggle and EVB takes about 4 or 5 days (wild mushroom badge for EVB takes a lot longer)
Majhong safari takes 3-4 days as well.

lol..i had planned on putting this on my list of ones for 2010 that i wanted to rank out on..i usually pick about 5 or 6 to try and finish up on..for this year i was trying to rank out on tri peaks,so far im to rank22..lol..so much for my plan..
Beaker Creatures is one of the fastest rank out games I've ever played... well, not played. The auto for this is amazing. I believe I was ranked out in about 40 some hours of play. Might have been more, but.... ok I checked my stats. I got the first 2 badges on the same date, then a couple weeks later I played it and got the last 3 on the same date/overnight run. Meaning, I had started it in the afternoon, ran it overnight and had gotten the last 3 badges by the time I woke up. Seems to me that you could rank out on that one in about 2 days time using Uncle Otto.
Beakers Creatures, Mahjong Safari, Keno Pop, Hog Heaven Slots (all previously mentioned before) are sure fire fast ones.
I would like to add Hangman Hijinx, Jigsaw detective (each individual case), Pictureka (as a to go game), Sudoku puzzle blast, and Word Craft. tumbsup.gif
slowest on the planet BLOOP
Slowest game on earth even with auto: The poppit show! LOL
also slow are all of the 100 rank games.....tri peaks, lottso, canasta, mahjong garden, qwerty.
Games that take long because of cripes and low memory messages:
Penguin Blocks, Battle Phlinx, Yahtzee, makeover madness

Penguin Blocks, Battle Phlinx, Phlinx, and The Poppit Show were nightmares. The Cripes! message kept appearing with Penguin and Battle. The auto for Phlinx would stop playing pointing straight up the screen and did not play well at all.
The difference between Battle Phlinx and Phlinx, and why I prefer Battle Phlinx is that with BP you don't have to win to advance rank. With Phlinx, jackpot spins or wins is how you advanced.
The Poppit Show.. well... I can't even talk about that one. panic button.gif I still haven't fully recovered.
For ranking up in Beaker Creatures, does it matter what difficulty you use, or is it one where the harder the difficulty, the faster you rank up, similar to Hangman?
TIA
Play Beaker on Hard Level - u get more 'points' --- Easy=1 , Medium=2 , Hard=3

Yep, play it on hard, especially if you're using Uncle Otto. He rocks on this game.
Bloop for me has been a nightmare...even with the auto. It's actually much faster if you can double browse since you can get 25 points per game rather than 7-10 with the auto.
i and a friend did the bloop one and ranked out fast..there was a certain way you played it that would fill the whole board up and you would get a lot of points at one time..i forget how it went now..
I am pretty familiar with the pattern for that one but it's hard sometimes getting that game to double browse by myself. Usually there is hardly anyone in the room to play with. I am rank 46 right now so at this point, I'm almost done anyway.
i was always lucky to find someone in the room that wanted to work on the pattern with me...

I paired up with a buddy from here and we got it done that way. It took a few months of playing here and there, but we got it done.

For me the fastest were:
Wonderland Memories (a few days by hand)
Beaker Creatures
Word Craft
Hangman Hijinks
Keno Pop
Lottso Express
Word Jong giggle2.gif
The slowest by far are:
Canasta
Tri Peaks
Perfect Pair Solitaire
Lottso
Yahtzee Party (cripes and low memory messages)
The Poopit Show
Bloop is slow too even when double browsing or playing with a friend. I double browsed and it's one thing to double browse for a badge but another to do it to rank out in a game! lol
Good luck tumbsup.gif
These are most of the games I have ranked out in.
Right now I prefer the games where no one can bother
me but am open for suggestion as to what in your personal
opinion what games you would you attempt to do next.
I can just ignore people if they come in my room.
Some games (ALL) don't, in my opinion, lend themselves to chat.
I literally hate wasting my time chatting. Sorry but true.
BTW I do not mind the 100 rank games as I have found Canasta
one of the best ones to play so far as extra ranks go.
Ali Baba Slots
Beaker Creatures
Canasta
Casino Island Blackjack
Everyone Wins Bingo
Flower Daze
Hangman Hijinks
Harvest Mania
Hog Heaven Slots
Jigsaw Detective
Keno Pop
Mahjong Safari
Mini Golf Madness
Monopoly Slots
Poppit
Rainy Day Spider Solitaire
Spooky Slots
Sweet Tooth 2
Trivial Pursuit 20
Turbo 21
Wonderland Memories
Don't play Thousand Island Solitare if you want to rank out quickly. This one takes forever!!! panic button.gif
I haven't tried it with an auto though. Has anyone ranked out with this one using an auto and if so how long, I'm curious?
Good luck to you! tumbsup.gif
i did rank out a long time ago on this but i think i went back and forth between using the auto and playing by hand..i have a lot of trouble using that auto now...since pogo doesnt seem to be adding new games as fast as they used to i just take my time on them anymore..
The Poppit Show is the longest. In POGO itself? I think Battle Phlinx is up there with the best of 'em.

Excluding the "random" badges like those in the Poker games, Tri-Peaks, Lottso and Mahjong Garden take a long time. Most extended games are take a long time to finish.
For the non-extended games without a "special" badge, Jungle Gin, Battle Phlinx, Fortune Bingo, Yahtzee Party and Boardwalk Sea Ball take forever. tumbsup.gif
OK here are some of my choices for games to try to rank out in next.
Spades
Shuffle Bump
Battleship
Crazy Cakes
Dice City Roller
Dominoes
Jigsaw Treasure
Pogo Addiction.... yellow cards only
Tell me which three you would do next.
Addiction took about a week on overnight. As long as you only do gold cards it won't take long. Aces up was pretty easy. Keno Pop was VERY easy to rank out on. I'm currently working on canasta by hand. That seems to be taking forever, but it's my favorite game, so it doesn't bother me.
Canasta with the auto is fast... as least I think so.
I like Pogo Addiction so I think I can handle seeing it 24/7 for a week of yellow cards.
Hi
I use TRIVIAL PURSUIT Daily 20...and can Rank-out in 5 days (using both sites). Plus you get @6 million tokens.
S1lent
QWERTY took me 2-3 weeks
Monopoly Slots took me 1 week
Beaker Creatures took me 2 days
Hog Heaven Slots took me 1 week
Trivial Pursuit took me 1 week
Keno Pop took me 1 week
I'd say the ones that take long are games which take long themselves...so games such as
Monopoly - Here and Now
Pogo Bowl
Bingo games
Mahjong Garden
Tri Peaks
Ali Baba, Sock Hop and the other slots can take ages because you need story bonuses to get rank progress and getting them is rare as ever.
I tried putting the auto on Battle Phlinx yesterday for a couple hours, and the game kept telling me, "No rank set." I've never had cripes problems with that game like everyone else, but the whole rank not set thing kind of scared me.

I would choose Dominoes, Dice City Roller, and Pogo Addiction. I ranked out pretty quickly in those. I'm working on Jigsaw Treasure and Battleship right now and they are going pretty good. I'd say they are taking "normal time" to rank out in -- not too fast, not too slow.
As for slow ones -- Pinochle is HORRIBLE! Tri Peaks freezes a lot on me (with the auto) so that will take forever.
Good luck to you! tumbsup.gif

Don't worry about that. Just go out of that room and come back in to the same room and it will reset. That happened to me a lot. Took me about three months of running this auto overnight to rank out in this game -- it can be done though! cheerleading.gif

I ranked out on BLOOP in 7 days by double browsing, probably 50 hours of play.
Fastest for me:
Beaker Creatures
Sudoku Blast
Word Whomp
Turbo 21 *ultrafast rankout*
Casino Island Blackjack
Sweet Tooth
All the slot games were fast
Slowest:
Boggle Bash (I hate this bloody game)
Tripeaks
Canasta - I'm at rank 95 right now, huff n puff crying10.gif
Just be persistent and you'll get there, no matter what game pogo throws at ya.
OF COURSE, the slowest is Word Search Daily.
NO ONE has finished it yet.

The inevitable "measurement" issue has raised its ugly head.
If one measures by calendar time, then Clue will be the longest, since badges are constantly being added, leading to an infinite calendar time to finish. Word Search Daily has a finite end. For me, the date is 2/8/2011 and for my second account, 4/8/2011.
Jigsaw Detective used to be the longest, since it started before Word Search Daily. The status of Jigsaw Detective is now in limbo, based on the 70th case.
What is most odd about these games is that the time to finish is variable. Someone today could "finish" Jigsaw Detective in an overnight session or two, since they have all the cases available, as opposed to those that started at the beginning and had to wait.
From a screen time perspective, Word Search Daily is a typical pogo game. I play 45 minutes each month and I am caught up with the 30 puzzles. Extend it out further, and this means Word Search Daily is 50-60 hours of screen time. This is less than 3 days. I personally use screen time to measure how long it will take to finish games. I include all hidden and special achievement badges, such as Royal Flush, Perfect Chain, Rising Star, Big Rollers, Boggle Badge Badge Badge, etc.
I am not sure how to measure the time it takes for the "luck" badges, since everyone's experience is different. Some of those are the most frustrating badges, since until you actually win them, you are technically not making any progress towards them. While random number theory could allow you to estimate, Pogo is not a big fan of random numbers, as evidenced by the difficulty of earning certain luck badges or how play occurs in the poker games.

Ahh, but will Word Search Daily end? Or will Pogo add ranks? Stay tuned to find out.

Unless Pogo figures out a way to charge gems for new ranks, or decides to add Washington, Puerto Rico, Guam, etc., then we can safely assume that upon achieving rank 50-Alaska, then game will be finished.
Also, the extension of games should not be considered until it actually happens. Otherwise, people would be able to rank out in Greenback Bayou, since Pogo toyed with that idea five years ago.
How does one treat extended games? I think this has been argued on the forum many times. Personally, I feel that if one finishes as game before it is extended, then that person can consider the game finished even as they work on the extended part. When they finish the extended part, they do not get credit for an extra game finished.
Unfortunately, Pogo has slowed down the extension of games and instituted a new policy of not giving credit for work done in the interim period between completing the original requirements and the extension of the game. Many of us ranked out immediately or were granted significant progress in games like Canasta, Wonderland Memories, Lottso and QWERTY. This stopped with the extension of Tri-Peaks, due to Pogo's inability to give credit for the rank progress. When Pogo extended Monopoly, they were bombarded with complaints about the resetting of stats so that people (like me) would not instantly rank out by playing one game. Pogo reset the number of times a player passed go if it exceeded rank 50.
I fear that the violently negative reaction to this stat resetting may have severely reduced Pogo's incentive to add ranks to existing games. A simple database solution does exist, but Pogo does not make money by adding simple code and a simple data point (a separate rank point column, outside of the existing rank requirements like spins, cards, etc.)
Simple answer is that until a game is extended, we cannot count that as part of the requirements to finish the game. beer11.gif
