ANOTHER MENU BAR UNDER POGO'S MENU BAR ... BE CAREFUL OF THIS, MAYBE.
When loading a game and after setting up the room, another menu bar with an X at the end popped up under the pogo menu bar. WHILE THIS MENU BAR WAS THERE I HAD NO CHAT. The menu bar read: To help protect your security, Internet Explorer blocked this site from downloading files to your computer, click here for options. When I did it prompted me to download the file and took me to a site that caused my AVG to warn me in RED that this site contained a virus! AVG then booted me back to my game and locked the virus away in it's vault.
This menu bar still appears when I go into a game and blocks my chat. Now I just click the X at the end of the bar and my chat appears as normal. I can't explain this but possibly someone else can. If not, maybe I've helped someone else?
I dont know what is up but my IE is doing the same thing. I just click it off and the game loads normal. At the end of the bar click the x
It's done that to me since yesterday. I was told to update java and uninstall the old javas.

I've read people in the lobby complaining about it. I'm sure pogo will get an earful.

Hi,
I have had trouble with toolbars and their built-in pop-up blockers...not so much with POGO but more with Yahoo Games. Some of the toolbars were "Ask, Google, yahoo,"...well you can name the rest.
I just want the games to load..

I use Fire Fox and no menu (tool) bars here.
By chance would this have a connection with the free gems offer where you had to download and install a tool bar for at least 10 days before you get your gems?
I stayed away from that one.

I doubt it. I never took part of the free gems offer and I get the popup as well
It's not actually a toolbar..it's like an extra address bar which is a pain in the azz.. swear2.gif

Hello I'm new here just wanting to say hello to everyone! Hope all are well
I use Firefox and I don't get the menu bar just thought would share...
My java was out of date .. so I installed Java 6 update 20 and no longer see the menu bar.
Not sure if it was the update or pogo fixing the issue.
I just don't understand why i get it and my gf doesn't. I get it with every game I go into, she gets it in none rolleyes.gif
I always check the game screen now. I thought it was the Advanced System Care that Homer/Mayhem shared. Now, I know it is just Pogo again. By the way, Advanced System Care is super-awesome. I love it! tumbsup.gif
