Yahoo has three types of games for pro football


Fantasy Football is where you draft a team and manage it in head to head matchups against other pogocheats members until a champ is crowned. I would set the league to auto draft because it would be a PITA to try and coordinate everyone on such little time.

Pro Football Pick'em season. Show off your smarts each week by picking the winners in all professional football games. Now, you can even create or join a group that picks through the playoffs! Most of you are familiar with this from previous years.

Survival Football Pick a different winner of one pro football game each week. Win, and live to pick again. Lose, and you are eliminated. Too harsh? Then play in a group that allows second-chance "Strikes." Now, you can even create or join a group that picks through the playoffs! This is also known as a "Suicide Pool"

Please post comments or questions ASAP because time is short and we only have about 3-4 days to set everything up.

I've never played the Fantasy or Survival Football before but I'd try em.  So I voted for All of the above  football4.gif 

i say pick'em

I picked Pro last yr,but didnt win any games.Its harder for some older ppl.too understand, but i tryed.  coffee.gif

pick em can support more players so im up for that

Pick'em is easy to join in. Survival is a good one, too. Each week you pick ONE team to win and then you cannot pick that team again. Good times!

I do not play fantasy football. None of my fantasies involve football players.

No, each week you choose ONE team. If they win, you go on to the next week. If they lose, you are out. You cannot choose that team in any following weeks. So, if you picked the Steelers in week 1, you could not choose them for the rest of the season.

He's on my fantasy team and it's better than 6 INT's. When they give him 20-25 carries he usually does well but Martz thinks he is still in St Louis

I cannot believe that I won after holding a one point lead with the Philadelphia game. Even though I picked Philly to win with a lot of confidence points, a couple of people would have passed me.

There's something amiss ... my anti-virus program blocks the site every time. I've allowed the site in "safe sites" and I've tried every way I can possibly think of to get my anti-virus program to allow it ... still it comes up "THIS SITE IS BLOCKED! I don't know what's going on with your anti-virus program, maybe if you tell what program you're using, someone can help ya out.  I'm using Trend Micro Internet Security & mine is working ok (knocks on wood!) 

 coffee.gif I'm using Norton Internet Security. Hubby installed and paid 2 years ahead for it. There's a number of sites it absolutely won't allow (even though I've gone in and manually allowed them). For some it works, for others it doesn't. For whatever reasons of it's own, it disregards my opinion and continues on doing its own thing. I suppose it thinks it's the BOSS now! Always had AVG and can't ever remember a problem like this. (It wasn't broken so somebody had to fix it). lol. Maybe I'll have to call Norton and see how it can be set for more user friendly handling. And their help is not free, lol. They get you comin or goin...
