Coming Soon: More Flash Updates
Pogo is currently testing new Flash versions of World Class Solitaire and Poppit. These two updates will be released to the public soon, and we suspect there will be more game updates in the future, so now's the time to make sure your Flash is up to date and that you can load the other Flash games on Pogo: Beaker Creatures, Puck's Peak, and most recently Word Whomp
I like the flash games better. They seem to put less stress on the computer's resources, especially the Java cache. tumbsup.gif
Thanks for the info CM embrace.gif
WTF is up with flash? I have a new computer, with windows 7 on it. Flash slows the game way the hell down, it just doesn't work very well.

Yep, same here .. if pogo thought they had a hard time keeping up with complaints before - they are in for a big surprise. I wonder how many customers they will lose this time around.
Flash works quite well...on older systems.
Windows 95 and earlier, flash works great. I don't have issues with flash games on the older systems.
But on anything newer than windows 98, flash based games STINK.
Flash caused so many probs Pogo put whomp back to java..
FLASH rolleyes.gif Sure isn't what we're used to with Pogo ...
Many players have upgraded to win/7 and are having soooo many problems with Pogo, they've moved on to other more user friendly game sites.
I'm running XP and the positioning of the Pogo games (so far) are ok. And I'm able to play the games so can't complain about that yet.
Like any other FLASH game they take on the appearance of a childs game. Graphics are not at all like the professional Pogo of days gone by.
So far as Pogo's Challenges, Badges, GEMS and Mini items, others sites just call these something else. I'd say Pogo is about on par with about any other game site now. But will be last on the 'favorites list' if it continues this way. Just my opinion...
