False Positive, disable your virus program until you have it downloaded and installed

Crazy has it right. I use Norton, and the only way to update a program is to turn it off while doing so. I'm not sure what's up with WCS, pogo may have changed something, but I had no problems updating ThunderPopper today, once I gave my AV program a short nap.

Pogo made some changes in the buttons in WCS..that's why it's not working right..Pogo always has to screw up a good thing..

AVG is junk IMO get rid of it

you may need to update your graphics drivers or your computer is so old it can no longer support todays apps

Damn, AVG seems to be causing issues everywhere? I did a google search on how to disable it, in order to d/l and install a program. The instructions seemed painful.

Missy stated her computer was new, so I'd assume it's all about AVG, rather than a hardware problem.

Dear Sir/Madam,

thank you for your email.

Unfortunately, the current virus database version may detect the mentioned virus on some legitimate applications. We can confirm that it is a false alarm. We would like to inform you that the false positive will be removed in the next Definitions update. Please update your AVG and if a new Definitions update was downloaded, check whether the file is still detected.

If you need to restore deleted files from AVG Virus Vault you can do it this way:
- Open AVG user interface.
- Choose "Virus Vault" option from the "History" menu.
- Locate the file that was incorrectly removed and select it (one click).
- Click on the "Restore" button.

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

     Best regards,

     Petr Sevcik

problem seem's to be fixed
