Post by: Mistyeyed on February 09, 2012, 12:23:24 PM
do the autos work on these embedded games? I just tried my autos for the lottso one and the majong safari and neither one of them are working now, before these games were embedded they were working fine,is there something we need to adjust on the screen to play them,i keep getting the message that it cant find the game window?

Is there any movement on getting a fix that works on the Pogo US side?

This seems like a short-term fix at best.

I simply cannot get either Poppit or First Class Solitaire to launch.  I know they're "embedded" games, and that may be the problem.  But I tried both...first in Firefox, and then in Internet Explorer.  I went to the UK Pogo page, and played both (they launched the old way...in a new window)...but I didn't get any notification that I got the 3,000 Triple Bonus points.
Am I the only one having this problem?

The 3000 triple bonus points is for playing on the North America site only.  The UK site have different games and it's only every 3rd Thursday of the month.

On 2/4/12 I got an email from Ken stating "We are aware of the "embedding" issues and we are diligently working on the new versions. It shouldn't take too long.  Thanks for your patience."

So that is what I am doin'

Right now I am real ticked at BH  not just the auto issues but some others that I will not bring out in the forum. With that said. Bh is way off the mark when it comes to product and service. That is all I have to say I am done

It will not work on UK side.

you need the old version(s) for the uk side as the new updates are for the embedded games.

Missy, I've also been a 150 member for many years, but I now have no problems with embedded games or earning badges, including poppit.  zipper.gif popcorn2.gif

It seems they can track cheaters easier and not give rank progress. I was working on bingos in Lottso Express and had to play by hand because the auto wasn't getting credit.

If your auto is set to go for Mega Lottso cards, unless you make it to goal 5 of 5, you may not get credit for every game. I routinely get credit for bingos, balls placed, reach Nth goal X times and everything else if the auto makes it goal 5 of 5.

If you set the auto to go for something other than Mega Lottso, you will be fine. I am running it right now and it has been getting me the Lucky Nightmare every three-four wins and the Happy Winner Badge every 32 wins.

Thank you for the tip Joe C.

I also found when working on the UK side, I have more M&M badge albums completed then I do on the US side.  no-no.gif It doen't match up.

I do hope BH will get things fixed. I really like working with them and find the autos Excellent....when they do work.
They have always replied to me when I have asked for help. Even if it was to say, they are working on it, they did reply.

Until then, I'm glad for the help from others here who keep me going.
I have had my days where I feel like walking away from Pogo.
I honestly don't know why Pogo would want to even concern themselves with the players using the autos?
I would have quit Pogo a long time ago if it wasn't for them.

I still can't figure out how the heck to get into a certain room or who is in a room with me until after I am in the room.
I will learn these embedded games....soon I hope.  diablo.gif

I use Mozilla Firefox as my principal browser, and I can't get ANY of the embedded games to load.  I have to close Firefox and go log in with Internet Explorer to play any of the embedded games.  I'd really prefer not to have to do that, and to be able to continue using Firefox for everything.
Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong, or can suggest anything I might try?

I have found that for the imbedded flash based games the best way to play them smoothly with no hassle is use Google Chrome...It really is the best browser for flash games...I have no clue why but it seems to deal with flash better.

I use Google Chrome and have no problems.  Google auto updates flash so I think that helps.  I really dont like IE or Firefox. One plus for Chrome is if you log in it keeps up with your settings and favorites. So if you have to reinstall you just sign in and it all goes back like you had it.

The other great thing about Google Chrome is that when you shut down the browser, it clears a lot of the temporary files.

You still need to clear out the temporary files and reboot from time to time.

I've tried resizing the browser, downloaded the socalled "new updated" toothbrush, and used the Chrome browser, and the agent still is unable to find the game window..  now it's locked up and dimmed on my screen so I have to reboot to get it to go away... If anyone asks me now I tell them not to buy the 150 as until there is a way to use them your just wasting your money as I guess I have now... I guess I'll go to the UK site until they change that one too..

Well, there is data being harvested and every once in a great while, there are some updates to some of the programs.

Let us have a competition, to see if Sweet Tooth will be updated for you before Scrabble is updated for me.
