We really have not seen her in anything since the early 1960s. And after she got political,  I always thought she would be seen in the news during Breast Cancer Awareness Month because she was one of the first movie stars to let it be known she had a mastectomy, but she was quite silent every year.

My favorite all time movie with Shirley was Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm because it was a favorite book growing up. And I still remember at restaurants growing up that my 6 brothers got a Roy Rogers but I was always served a Shirley Temple. Not sure what they call a child's ginger ale with grenadine now but I just hope it isn't called a Kardashian.

She was the best child star  to me that there ever was.  R.I.P Shirley Temple.      I loved just about all her movies, but my favorite was Heidi.    sad.gif

R.I.P She was a great little actress & grew up to be a very classy lady.  Iloved her movies when I was little, but also think Heidi was my fave cause I'd read & loved the book, lol.
