One thing that has been bothering me about Google Chrome (especially since the last update 2 days ago) is that website text looked terrible.
To fix this issue, load up Chrome and enter the following in the address bar : chrome://flags/
Find the option called "Disable DirectWrite Windows" - it should be the 4th option down from the top.
Click on the blue "Enable" link and completely close the browser and reload it up.
Let me know if it looks any better for you.
It's funny...this was supposedly an "improvement" yet I've seen numerous places that Chrome users are changing it back to the way it was. Just another case of them doing something that doesn't need to be done.
Am I going nuts? I don't see a font change.
I'll try and get some before / after screenshots later today to show what I'm seeing.
I did see a little difference but it is till to big and kinda blurry....Wish there was a way to remove it and d/l the old version..This sux.

It seems to work, thanks, but do you know how this will affect the autos?
I see the difference in Crazy's images but I don't think mine ever looked liked the 'before'. Maybe my eyes are getting old and unreliable?
Here's what mine looks like now and I haven't changed anything.

Oh, I see there is a Chrome update today. This issue was probably fixed.
Edit : Confirmed - the latest update today fixes this issue. I reverted the setting back to default and everything still looks great.
