My bother and I each had one when we were kids. We used to put a pile of Life cereal in front of them and see who finished them up first.

My sister and I had two hamsters when we were little.  Mine was Irving, hers was Theodore.  We went away for a long weekend with the folks and forgot about care for the hamsters so we poured in a lot of food and lots of water containers, figuring they would be ok for a few days.  When we came back, Irving had eaten Theodore, except for the head.  Very gruesome.
