To start the event, just open Snowbird Solitaire and click the Play button - and then click the special event icon in the lower left-hand corner.
This Bearnard's Bear Claws event ends on September 25th.

All done! Level 6 and 7 gave me a few issues, but it wasn't too bad.

I missed out. I really dislike the game so I tend to avoid it.
