I have no idea. I don't mean to sound critical here but I don't know what your doing to your poor pc but please stop. LOL I have never seen someone with more pc problems than you. :-\ If i were you I would back up my pc and wipe out my hard drive and start from scratch. This is easy to do if your pc came with restore disks. Just remember to back everything up. Especially any auto receipts. :)

It could be many things, but if you do windows update frequently your direct X should be updated to latest version.

See if you meet the requirements to play the demo: Do you have Win98,Win2k, or WinXP?
Do you have a Pentium 1.2 Ghz or higher processor?
Do you have at least 256Mb of RAM?
Do you have a video card with at least 64Mb of ram?

If you own a dell, gateway, or similar budget pc, chances are you have a pc with no video card.(Integrated Video) You 'might' be able to run the game if you have over 512Mb of system ram with no video card, but don't take my word for it. Most newer games require a video card to run no matter how much memory you have.

I hope I didn't get too technical there, but if your not sure if you have a video card or not and it won't run don't bother with it.
