Title: Autos that are worth paying money
Post by: ItsyBitsy on October 23, 2004, 10:57:24 AM
Suggestions of autos worth paying money from this group of well informed ahem "consumers" is priceless.  Please share what you find worth registering:

1) Autos for tokens (e.g. poppit auto, turbo 21...)
2) Autos for getting badges and ranks (Tri-Peak,WCS,...)

Tokens

21 Monster (it's FREE) will avg 50K+ an hour  (My best was 65K in one hour)
I like BB9 from Wordz but stoppit from badge help is just as good (50K and hour)

With Ranks:

XlinX - definitely get this, Phinx is a long game
Love Liner is a must!
Mole Miner
ZipeaksZolitaire - Because Tri Peaks sucks
World Class Solo
Mo-Matic - if you use with the helper it rules
Need-Fu Ninja

Any of the above are a good buy O0

Other programs ( I'd rather not mention them since it will probably open a can of worms.....)

The 3-Getter for Canasta (free)
PPPlayer for Perfect Pair.....well....

I agree 21Monster is great.  Except we are still waiting for TokenMonster to add a little fix to overcome the "High Score of the Day " display.  Currently, we have to manually click play again when this screen pops up.

I don't, it just keeps going and going and going....

It works on both MSVM and Sun.  I never have to click play again.

Of course with so many people on here alot of us have experienced different probs from pogo with the autos while others have experienced none at all...my experiences say use the autos for badges, dont leave em running all day and night ...and dont play for ridiculously high token stashes...i was having alot probs getting booted until i threw most of my tokies in the useless draws...since then i havnt had any probs....maybe the high tokies just grab to much attention from the whiner snitchies... but like i say someone else will tell ya they have had no probs at all so whos to say,,,,  but fer sure the autos worth the money are mentioned above by bear

No kidding!  The Turbo 21 Roll back is no cool.  It seems to only happen when you get over 14 sometimes 13 21's.

It's a real good thing to keep you token count low.  Nobody cares about lifetime but it's your current tokens that people see.  I always keep mine WAY below 5mill.

Another thing, if you are going to leave an auto running for awhile, change your badge.  Use like the current challenge badge.  If you use a high ranking or rare badge people might ask you how you got it or try to congratulate you.

Dottie's Dauber is certainly a life saver. :) Could you imagine sitting there long enough to get 3000 bingos to get your final rank? :o

I own every auto made and I love each one of them, sniff.  I would always recommend Dottie's Dauber for the following reasons:

1. Playing bingo is as exciting as watching paint dry.
2. It is one of the few Pogo games that they have added an additional rank to.
3. 3,000 wins is tedious
4.There are 3 "in game" badges
5. There are an additional 4 "weekly challenge" badges
6. If you look at any of the sites that show the badges, past and future, you will see more bingo badges.

You figure in the factors of your time spent, the boredome avoided, and if my calculations are correct at this stage, with future badges, you average a buck a badge and um, do the math-$10.00 for 3,000 wins.  It is a bargain.

My fav cheats are - 3 getter (doesn't put my tokens up high, yet I win) Love liner!!! what a perfect program. I always "lose" about 7-10  by just clicking a king or pair and hit new game, before I leave it running all night.  Also, www is excellent, I got my badge without getting busted once- that might be a record. Tri-peaks & WCS are good too- your stats just stay average. Used to love the stoppit one- lost my reg. code and got  f*&ked. Got all my bingo badges- great auto- by staying up and switching rooms. It was WORK. People get upset and turn you in alot there. Bingo is not a thrilling game!!! Can't wait for word jong!! That and poker badges are the only ones I'm missing.
Keep up the good work.

I WOULD LOVE TO GET THE DOTTIE DAUBER BUT FROM MY EXPERIENCE IN BINGO I THINK THAT WOULD BE A PRIME GAME FOR GETTING CAUGHT AT.  ESPECIALLY IF THEY START SHARING AND YOUR ON AUTO.  SEEN THEM GET REAL HOSTILE!  WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

I have Dottie Dauber and I play with it all the time and if they room is wanting to share I wait until I am very close to winning and turn off my auto so that more than one person can win.  They do not even know that I have an auto and I do not mind watching the game as it plays out.

Are you on dialup? ???
Title: Re: Autos that are worth paying money
Post by: bob@pogopal on November 02, 2004, 04:14:16 PM
The next release of Dottie's Dauber will speed things up a lot after the room loads, so that might help.

If you are on dial-up, I am afraid there is little you can do to improve the speed of loading the room though.

You have Club Pogo right? Why not goto your account options and turn on "install games"?

That will put the games on your hard drive and it will only take seconds to load (regardless fo your inet speed)
Title: Re: Autos that are worth paying money
Post by: bob@pogopal on November 03, 2004, 11:08:07 AM
Hi Mayhem,

Golden10 already indicated that she has selected that option. On dial-up, installing takes the download time from several minutes down to tens of seconds, but tens of seconds is still frustrating when you want to room hop to soak up those elusive bingos.

Thats right Bob  I   use  that option  already. But  thank you  Mayhem  for the suggestion O0

time to spare  and get a lot of     Bingooooooooos!

They are good - but back up is worthless - when updates come the don't inform you and
when they do its seems way to technical  to do it -  :-[
Maybe i just don't get all the tech.. stuff... but overall they are good O0
Just don't expect any back up when things go wrong

one of the best things like homers siggy said room rover is the best thing since sliced bread if you can decide on an auto that one is awsome it moves you from room to room to make it undetectable that you are using an auto

I think the Room Rover sounds great does that come with the package? I still trying to save up to by them cause i cannot just get one auto, lol  The one i think i want most is for tri peaks my lord that game is horrible, oops i love playing the game they just make it so much before you advance he he

Room rover and poppit together is a safe way to earn tokens.  I like the 21 monster program but it's TOO good.  Attracts too much attention in a room.

With a badge program, it depends how much you like (or dislike) playing the game and how long it takes to get a badge.

Unless you're a committed bingo addict I can't see anyone getting a bingo badge without an auto... :o

I think i have tried all if not most of the auto trials. I find that the bingo dauber is great, i avg. 40 bingos in 4 hours over night, poppit can draw too much attention, WWW was great and doesnt draw too much attention if you set the options right, world class solitaire was great, tri peaks is great, love liner and spider solitaire, all are great.
