Title: AutoPilot Beta 1 is now available!
Post by: Mayhem on December 16, 2004, 10:20:42 PM
AutoPilot Beta 1 is here! It plays Aces Up! for you automatically.

From Badgehelp.com :

This gives you an idea of what the final product will be like. We are aware that it hangs up and gets stuck. We are working on the final version.

This baby literally flies! thanks Bob!

I too tested this on my laptop and got the same thing I am using IE as browser this is what happened i had the room open and ready to play and it went like really fast flying threw the cards  got about half way down doing awesome and bam cripes and booted out . my laptop is fairly new so not working on an old comp.  Must be something with the auto. I hope I have included as much info as i can about the error

I downloaded the new Auto Pilot and Love it!!!  I, too got the cripes error at first and then rebooted my system and shut down everything that used internet. Also, I slowed it from the fastest, to the second fastest. I did not get any more Cripes messages and it breezed right along!!!! I am using IE 6.0.

Good thing this one was released now....LOL.....I was in a hurry yesterday morning to get an auto and went to "You Know Who" and guess what?????   I'm STILL waiting on them to mail me a password. Seems they ignore their mail and take the money and run.

Thanks BadgeHelp for once again turning out a Blue Ribbon Product!!!!  O0 O0

The "Cripes" problem is a problem with Pogo, not with the auto.  You get the cripes when you aren't using autos also.

OMG!  LOVE THIS AUTO!  I hate this game there are a few games I'm good at on Pogo and this one is not one of them.  Yes there are some times it hangs up, but geez it has flown through games leaving the 3 planes at times so I got my first badge:)  I know the others will take forever because Pogo has added so many rounds per rank, but at least I have this!   WTG GUYS!  LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!   Can't wait to see what you guys do with the update please don't slow it down any because I love this speed:)

Ok how do you get your winning % up that high, for some reason I am only running in the low 30% range?
Title: Re: AutoPilot Beta 1 is now available!

My percentage since running the auto runs about 45% per session average versus my own 12% (LOL)   It runs so fast that even if I lose it makes up for it with the speed by winning enough to make me not care:)

Can you tell me what Java to use this auto on.  I have used the auto and it messes up sometimes so I am thinking maybe my settings are not right.  Thanks for any help you can give me.

It works for me with either Java. How exactly is it messing up for you?

Gandalf,

See if it will run without the game loaded. If it will, send a problem report and indicate the error it gets when the game is loaded in the message.

Ive tried with & without the game loaded it just pops up the same error message either way. Once i click ok nothing happens all the other autos work :(

Gandalf,

Email me a screen shot of the error. Send it to Bob@BadgeHelp.com

While you probably know how to make a screen shot, I will include instructions here for your convenience and for the convenience of anyone else reading this message who needs to send me one.

Find, press and release the 'Print Screen' key on your keyboard. The name of the key is probably abbreviated, and if you are using a laptop, you may need to combine the key with an Fn or other shift key. This key is usually close to the right-hand side of the keyboard in the top or bottom row of keys.

Open MS Paint (Start->Programs->Accessories->Paint). Select Paste from the Edit menu (Edit->Paste). Answer Yes if it asks whether to make the picture larger.

Once the screen shot is in Paint, you can use Paint to obscure any personal information you do not want me to see.

Save the file as a .bmp file. In your email reader, attach the file to your email to me.

Thanks,
Bob

Darn! I was hoping there would be some additional information. When I get some time, I will try to figure out what object it might be accessing on your computer.

What version of Windows do you have? Have you run the latest critical updates?

Okay, I do have a question about this.  Is the version 1 still beta or is it the final?  I'm having some hang up issues...   I love the speed and the fact that most of the time I have gotten 2 or 3 count towards my squads but was wondering if I'll have to continue to babysit it for it to run?  As I said it's not really a problem Pogo has made this program kind of memory heavy so even though I have a newer computer it doesn't run quick enough to keep up with the auto so that could be part of it.

My brother tried to tell me that he'd quit playing pogo because he'd discovered their programs were memory hogs.  So I was curious is this true and could it effect my autos?   Thanks
