Got to be absolutely the WORST auto upgrade of all time! Doesn't work at ANY speed setting, using sun java OR VM! NO shutoff mechanism. At anything but slow speed it locks computer making it difficult to stop program and forcing reboot. The older auto, with problems, at least could be turned off...bring back the older version!

Max, don't hold back now. Tell us what you really think!  ;)

I realy don't see where an answer like that was called for from BOB, cheat catty remarks is this how you treat your paying customers and members of your forum. I thought this was going to be a fun place but I can see it is no different then all the other forums.

Sense of humor autos will be released shortly in the middle of this month.

Make sure you have your game face up first.

Then run the humor auto. It will take over for you completing your personality. You will receive the red badge of courage.

To all who would send hate mail, remember - All you need is love.

LPW...

who clearly is STILL not dealing with the Paul McCartney Half Time Blah Show yet. Yeah he's a Beatle, yeah he's a "Sir", yeah he's old, but man - it was almost like watching Wayne Newton (who I would have prefered singing Danke Shoene).

Anyone have any sick puppy cure?

We are updating it now to make it more compatible.

We don't want our customers to have to do the "Java Platform Shuffle" because certain autos won't run on MSJVM and certain other don't do well on Sun.

We are working out the kinks.

My apologies to the programmers regarding Jigsaw. I downloaded version 2.1 from this site (not from badgehelp.com) and read the instructions that it used VM java. After removing my Sun java and activating VM I have been able to run version 2.1 without ANY problems, even at "insane" speed. Sorry guys. my bad. :-\

While I cannot speak for Joe, he is a really nice guy, and I am confident he would tell you no apology is necessary. Your post, while critical of the auto, was factual and detailed -- as is this one explaining how you resolved the problem. As a programmer, I can say I wish all the complaints were as well written and effective.

I think it was just the thing to convince Joe he needs to keep the 'kill' key in his autos and to convince him not everybody had the same rosy experience with the update.

I howled with laughter when I read the complaint, and all I could think was: "Better Joe than me!"  :P
