:D Hi everyone. You'll have to excuse my ignorance here but I am baffled by a couple of things. So, I'm gonna look like an idiot and ask away.
1) I look around and everyone wants tokens, tokens, tokens. lol What is the payoff for having so many tokens? I know you can enter the draws and such but I haven't heard much of anyone really doing that. Do the jackpots get bigger when you have more tokens under your name?
2) Badges, kinda the same question. What is the payoff to having so many badges under your belt?
I've been a Pogo player since the beginning of the year and haven't done a lot of chatting or reading up on Pogo so, I just don't know the answers to these. Thanks so much to anyone who takes the time to enlighten me.

Why not have tokens?...true you cant pay your mortgage off, but its nice to have to play games you need tokens for, like poker...but if your not into poker than i guess there realy is no need for them..i have them to play poker and help out friends in need of more tokens. As far as the badges, why not...not everyone can get the badges, i see it every week where someone cant finish the challenge...true a larger majority of them can get it, but my only goal every week is to get as many badges as possible, that goes for weekly challenges as well as in game(rank) badges.But in the end i guess there is not real need to get tokens and badges,but if your on pogo only to play games that DONT require you to have tokens than, theres no need to get them. Im paying 40(CDN) a year to have this and i intend to get the most out of it.
I agree with touitsjesse about tokens. They're great for poker, but otherwise, pretty useless.
Badges are just fun, I think. I got my badge with the diamond ring on it, and the day I got engaged, I used that as my chat icon. Otherwise, I like my Faster than Fido badge. It's just a was of showing off, to me. Plus, the challenges give me a reason to play. If it weren't for the black Belt badge, I would have given up on Pop Fu a LONG time ago. ;)

Okay cool, thanks for the answers. I just wanted to make sure that I was getting everything out of Pogo that I can. I love the games and it doesn't matter to me if there's no long term reward. It's just fun. O0
