Title: mail

There is nothing more pleasing than going to your Messages and seeing a friendly note from a friend or a fellow Club Pogo member. But what happens when your box begins to overflow with messages? You might be receiving what is commonly referred to as "Junk Mail" or "SPAM mail." Often someone receives a funny e-mail, a cute story, a nice joke, or some sort of general e-mail, and they want to share it with others they feel might also enjoy it. However, many times people don't want to receive these e-mails. There is a difference between a personal note and a forwarded message, and usually the forwarded message is considered SPAM. Here are some telltale signs of what Junk Mail is:

The e-mail asks you to forward the message to everyone you know, possibly promising you good luck for doing so
It has obviously been forwarded to you, often many times over
It promises you something for nothing (5 cents for every person you forward it to, etc...)
It is good Internet etiquette to simply disregard these e-mails and to *not* forward these types of messages to others unless they have agreed to it beforehand
