Whackster is an auto for Word Whomp Whackdown (tm)
It is beta right now and will NOT play the bonus round + will only play MEDIUM or HARD puzzles.

EDIT :
Before submitting a problem report, make sure you are in either 24 or 32bit color.
Make sure you turn off smooth edges of screen fonts.
To do that :
A) "right click" your desktop and select "properties"
B) Click on the "appearance" tab
C) Click on the "Effects" button
D) "un checkmark" the top 2 boxes and press "Ok"
E) Press "Apply"
Make sure you close / reload your game screen after applying the changes.

Been running it for 5 minutes now on insane speed and on hard level and it's smoking. Skipping the bonus is a definite plus. O0

just used the auto must say its nice i like how fast it was going even changed the settings to normal but frozed my browser up im using firefox & screen res is 1024x768 , windows xp pro sp2 , running latest sun java 5.5 with 1gb of ram on cable connection i had 60% shareware left but when the browser frozed up & i had to reopen my browser & the auto it said i only had 10% left i know its a beta but just letting you know

I just sent you two screen shots from problems I had with Whackster. It is from my netzero account so may take a bit. If you don't get them, or need more info, let me know.
I'm not worried about these getting fixed for me as I'll be knocking out WWW today/tomorrow anyway but hopefully you can use these for any other upgrades you do. This auto took me from Z15 yesterday and I'm close to Z19 now so THANKS! I'm almost there. :)

I actually liked the old auto for it and got up to Z15 with it (I also got the silver badge with it this week too). The only issues I had with the older one was that it would only work on my computer using Sun and there was time wasted going through the bonus rounds. But...it beat the heck out of playing manually.
I was happy with that one, but this one makes me happier :)
Besides, I need an auto for this game because WWW doesn't give me credit for my vast knowledge of two-letter words like QWERTY does ;)

I just came in and tried the auto and I am VERY pleased. This is the one game that has the nosiest players who check stats and watch people. There are hundreds of rooms open right now with no players in them. Pogo is going to take this away after the weekly badge challenge. Get the auto, get in there, run with scissors and get the badge. You NEED this auto.
I want to use this auto so bad. But I cant get it to work. I have used firefox, aol, ie nothings working. I got the right stuff going but it says cant get first letter or something like that. I am about to give up. I am at zucchini 6 I need help!!!!! I am happy for e1 else that has got this to work maybe you all can get mine to work.

You would need to acquire it from illegitimate sources unless you are an MSDN Developer.
holy moly! Whackster is amazing! I tried it on the second fastest setting. Jeepers is it ever fast!! Insane must cause smoke to come outta my monitor.

Very welcome Mr. Bill !! :) I'm on z17 now, should be done but I go to different games after a bit. I just can't stay put long enough to get that darn gold carrot. :-[
I think I was on Z16 when I decided I could see the finish line and just went for it. I posted it elsewhere but with this program you are nearly there. I think the last level took right at 4 hours so the others would have been less. Just a couple over nighters and you should have it. :)
With all the snitches in WWW and people sick of it after last week.. it's hard to find a room that you're not going to get snitched on if you leave an auto running.
This is great but having a problem with it.....can't get it to work in IE or Firefox. Did get it to work in AVANT but after 3 games it freezes and have to do a Ctrl Alt Delete to get it shut down.
Have done everything that has been posted and now it has run out and got to use for 6 games. Would like to purchase and I know that it s a BETA but could you please give me some other suggestions.

well after just buying 3 autos this week, I'll have to finish this one by hand cause my trial already run out & being on disability money only goes so far. ::) luckily I don't have much farther to go & I'll get there eventually. Going to be busy using my newest autos now anyways. lol
I always babysit when using autos unless I'm in a game with a private table.
Wanted to know if Wackster is and update to mole miner? Do I need to buy wackster ? I'm getting very confused with badgehelp programs, when I buy one they change the program then I never know if I just send in my receipt and get the new one. Pleassssssssse someone help out with this, also I bought paycell now they have bonus what do I do here???

I downloaded the trial version of Whackster but cant get it to run. Its says it cant read the 8th letter. When I restart it it then says it can read another letter. I unchecked the smooth edges. I would like to purchase this but want to make sure it works befor I do! I am on Zucchini rank 10 and am dying to finish this. I am running the following:
) Operating system XP
2) Browser Internet Explorer
3) Color setting 32 bit
4) Screen resolution 1440x900
5) Smooth edges of screen fonts unchecked
6) What Java you are using Java 2 1.4.2
Any help is appreciated!

Make sure it's on the hard setting. Had the same problem when mine was set to easy.

Whackster v1.1 plays all difficulty levels.
Ive been playing around with the auto and it gives me the error message about unable to read the # letter only when there is an S in the puzzle. If there is no S the program runs. Any Ideas?

Thanks for the code! GREAT service. I tried changing the screen resolution like you suggested, but its still doing the same thing. It doesnt seem to like puzzles with the letter S in them. I'll keep trying hopefully the problem will be figured out! Thanks again MAYHEM

I was using the trail to see if it worked as it said it does.
Yup. No problem EXCEPT
- puzzles with s in it. Then I'd get this message that said it couldn't read every 6th letter or every 5th letter etc.
Just like others before me have mentioned.
And yes! I did check to make sure the options were the way they should be on my screen. That is 28 or 32 bit and the smooth edges unchecked.
Still had the problem.
ALSO
- when it got to the tunnel jackpot word part it did nothing- was it supposed to do anything? I knew it wouldn't solve those words but I guess I expected it to hit new game or something. It just sat there and then when the dog caught the mole, it didn't even restart the game. Did I do something wrong or is this just doing what it is supposed to be doing?
Two-
I was on there whomping away when pogo all of a sudden reloaded the home page with all the ads and everything. It showed me as still being signed in but had all the ads. As if I was not a club pogo member. I am hoping/guessing that this is a pogo problem and NOT a problem for me personally because I was using an auto code right? Please? Tell me I'm right.

Congratulations all of you who have the golden carrots. I'm a Z8 and have begun to lose interest in the game. I loved it when there were different vegetables, but all this zuchini is making me ill. Will have to look into the new auto and see how fast I can get through these ranks.

yes that is a good auto let mine run all night go to a full room and let it ripe without bounus round
v1.2 is now available .. It's still in beta (won't play the bonus round yet) but this version does fix the "sticking" issues.

I'm having a problem getting Whackster to work, ver 2.4. Deleted, rebooted, redownloaded, etc.... won't even click on the letters. So I dl's Whompdown and the trial works great, but I'm not seeing it on my 150 page and did a Whompdown search here but couldn't find anything. What's the skinny on this?

Hi, i dont understand Why Word Whomp or WWW doesnt show up on my Program list. I unistalled both of them & rebooted puter & came back here to download them over & still not showing up on my program list. I have to come to badgehelp when i want 2 play these games & click on the game i want to get the screen that goes down on botton of the game i want to play. So dont no what else 2 do. I have Whompster for word whomp & whackster for Word whomp whackdown. :'((

You need to save them to your desktop. They don't get installed into your programs
HOmer i think you are wrong. every game i downloaded so far is in All Programs, after u hit start button, but not these 2. sry There is a folder
called BadgeHelp & games are in that folder. The only think you get for desktop is an Icon, if u want it. sry tell me more im a waiting LOL :"

Not all Badgehelp programs install to the folder. If you want it in your folder you need to save it to your desktop and manually put it in there.
