Gambling site bodog.com has suspended betting on the third season of Hell's Kitchen after the odds for one of the contestants became favorably high, moving from 7-1 to 2-1 before the show's June 4 premiere, Bodog spokesman Greg Godden told E! Online.
(SPOILER ALERT: This article names the wannabe restaurateur who is rumored to be the winner, so if you prefer your gastronomic melodrama without a side of predictability, tread lightly.)
Bodog's security department is currently investigating whether the Fox reality series has got itself a leak in addition to one profanely cantankerous celebrity chef and 12 nerve-addled underlings just dying to be cussed out by him.
Well, 11, now that 27-year-old kitchen manager Tiffany has been told to stick her head in the proverbial oven. Joining Tiffany in the bottom two was teammate Joanna, who was lambasted for her poor communication skills during the serving portion last night's task, which was for each chef to prepare his or her "signature dish."
By the end of the night, Ramsay had dubbed the all-girl Red Team "Hell's Bitches" in honor of their constant bickering. It was Aaron, on the all-guy Blue Team, who cried on-camera, however.
But if Bodog's bettors do indeed know something the average viewer doesn't, 30-year-old Rock, an executive chef from Spotsylvania, Virginia, is this season's winner and will be rising to the head chef's position at a new Italian restaurant in the Green Valley Ranch Resort and Spa in Henderson, Nevada.
And if early ratings are any indicator, plenty of people could be around to watch Rock don the winner's toque. Monday's premiere averaged 8.2 million viewers and beat out CBS' Two and a Half Men and How I Met Your Mother in the coveted 18-49 demographic.
Although rampant speculation over what might be fixed, what's real and what's been prematurely let out of the bag is the price networks and producers pay for offering up reality programming, odds are no gambling Website wants to be on the giving end of too many big paydays.
Bodog had to pull a similar plug on betting for Survivor: Panama—Exile Island in April 2006 when a flood of bets came in for eventual runner-up, Danielle DiLorenzo, when she was still only in the top seven on the pioneering CBS series' 12th season.
The online gambling hotspot also shut down the action on Survivor: The Amazon in 2003 after being tipped off to some dirty dealings among CBS employees, some of whom were betting—correctly—on who that season's top two would be.
Over the past few years, Websites such as betwwts.com and sportsbook.com have had to take a similar approach with various seasons of The Apprentice, The Amazing Race and The Bachelor when the buzz on one or two contestants became a little too loud to ignore

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A former restaurant manager featured on a new U.S. reality show with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is suing the hot-tempered television star to stop the program from being broadcast.
"Kitchen Nightmares" -- in which Ramsay parachutes into failing restaurants for a week in a bid to fix them -- has been a success in Britain and is due to debut in the United States in September on the Fox network.
But according to a lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Manhattan, not all of those targeted by Ramsay, who has already tasted reality television show success in the United States with "Hell's Kitchen," walked away from the experience happy.
Martin Hyde, the former general manager of Dillons, an Indian restaurant in Manhattan's theatre district, is asking a judge to block airing of the show, saying exaggerations about the restaurant's conditions will destroy its reputation and the good name of the people who worked there.
Ramsey filmed "Kitchen Nightmares" at Dillons in April and Hyde, who was fired on the show at Ramsey's behest, says the chef lied about finding rotten meat, hired actors to patronize the restaurant so it would appear Dillons had grown more popular since Ramsay's intervention and unfairly targeted Hyde to capture a confrontation on tape.
Hyde said he was blamed for the way the kitchen was run even though as general manager he had no control over the kitchen.
Dillons' owner, Muhammad Islam, declined to comment on the lawsuit but said the restaurant had improved since Ramsay's visit. A representative for Ramsay said that he has not yet reviewed the lawsuit.

My predictions were this - Rock and Julia at the end. Well Since she's gone - I'm going with Rock. The only thing I don't care about is his high temper.
I think Julia has tons of potential and I think Ramsay see's that. I think it's cool he's going to send her to culinary school. I wanted so bad to see her win.

I haven't seen the previews on that yet.
The chef doing The Chopping Block is called Marco Pierre-White. And it is true, he did make Ramsay cry! Marco was Gordon's mentor when he started out, so this show should be quite promising. Whilsy Marco rarely loses his temper, when he does it is a real sight.

When he pulled Andrea and Ben up I thought for sure that he was going to send them both home, I was so happy. Shucks, guess I was wrong. I can't wait for next weeks. Van?? Is that his name that was going on Ramsey? It's the same @-hole giving JP lip and who JP was just about to lay the smack down on before Ramsey separated the two of them.
The guy I'm talking about is the @-hole that was giving JP attitude when JP was only trying to help him and that when asked by Ramsey first nominee and why said the person's name and they know why. Ramsey asked him the question again and he said the name and they know why and Ramsey was clearly getting pissed off at him and the next thing you see is the guy ripping off his shirt telling Ramsey lets take it outside and Ramsey was standing there looking like I can't believe what an @-hole this guy is making of himself.

Differences of opinion in my house-
My family had the premiere taped, we just finished watching it, and we had some differences of opinion as to who was really being the dick in the end confrontation between Joseph and Ramsay.
My dad and step brother think that Ramsay was not showing Joseph proper respect by asking him to say why Tony was nominated. The reasoning is that because Joseph was a marine, he probably had the mindset that if someone does something wrong, they should be a man and point it out for themselves.
In that situation, his response of "I nominate Tony and he can tell you what he did wrong because he knows what he did wrong," Would have been appropriate. Therefore, Ramsay was being unreasonable in asking Joseph, in his view, to "tattle" on his fellow man.
HOWEVER, I, a girl (if that makes a difference), think that Joseph was not showing Ramsay proper respect by answering him back with such sass and false authority. i don't care what kind of mindset you're used to operating under; when you have a boss, he's your boss, so you better to what he says. and when the "what" is to state a simple thing like "who and why", when everyone else clearly knows what that person did, it shows not only a bad attitude but frankly a whole lot of stupidity to for you to answer like a stubborn child! Plus, Joseph had not only been to an elimination before but he had probably watched the show before, so he KNEW Ramsay was going to phrase the question like that and he KNEW exactly how he was expected to answer. the fact that he clearly CHOSE to act like a 3-year old about it shows complete disrespect!
Anyway, since there were differences of opinion in my house about which person was out of line, Joseph or Ramsay, i figured i would post both theories here to see what other people thought on the matter. Opinions? BTW Hubby sides with me....

Hubby's active duty Marines-just got back from deployment in Iraq. He's taking 5 days of leave before returning to the local base he's assigned to for his new assignment. He and a couple of his Marine buddies and I were talking about this last night (before my step brother and dad watched the episode) and we all agreed that had Ramsey been his drill sergeant and Joesph mouthed off like that and refused to answer the question, the drill sergeant would have handed Joesph his @ss-well, what was left of it after the smack down.

IMO.......marine or not, he was asked a question and should have answered as expected. I dont think it was about ratting someone out because the guys all agreed who was going up on the block for nominations because of their poor performance. I think Joseph had a chip on his shoulder from the get-go and thought he had something to prove with this tough guy attitude. Maybe he just WANTED to be controversial and get his 15 min of fame and be remembered on the show as the biggest donkey of all Hell's kitchen shows. Too bad he doesnt realize that he will be long forgotten about 5 minutes after his departure.
Standouts to watch........Ariel and Kevin ( bald guy ) if he can stop injuring himself, he could prob go to the finals.
