FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, TWELVE NEW STARS WILL SHINE WHEN DANCING WITH THE STARS RETURNS FOR ITS MOST SURPRISING AND BIGGEST SEASON TO DATE, PREMIERING WITH A SPECTACULAR THREE-NIGHT EVENT
Dancing Devotees Treated to Three Straight Nights of Entertainment and Competition
First Week's Competition Features a Showdown Between the Women and the Men
In a Dancing with the Stars first, twelve celebrities -- six men and six women -- attempt to outshine one another on a fifth season of the hit series, which returns MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 24 (8:00-9:30 p.m., ET) on ABC. This marks the largest cast assembled to date. It includes an Emmy Award-winning actress, a Vegas icon, an Indy 500 champion, a Spice Girl, a daytime soap star, a Cheetah Girl and a former resident of 90210. As an added twist, viewers get a chance to size up the male vs. the female stars, as each gender hits the dance floor on separate nights during the first week of competition. The women will strut their stuff on Monday night, while the men showoff their moves TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 25 (8:00-9:30 p.m., ET). One couple's fate will be determined the following night, WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 26 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on Dancing with the Stars the Results Show. Can the women outperform the men, or will the men dance circles around the women?
As announced today on Good Morning America, the twelve stars making their ballroom dancing debut are:
MELANIE BROWN - "Mel B.," a.k.a. "Scary Spice," is best known as a member of the Spice Girls, the hit British music group that put "girl power" on the map and took the world by storm in 1996. Brown is also a mother, entrepreneur and actress who starred in Rent as Mimi on Broadway, in The Vagina Monologues in London, and hosted the British TV series This is My Moment. She is partnered with MAKSIM CHMERKOVSKIY, who returns for his fourth season.
SABRINA BRYAN - Actress and recording artist Sabrina Bryan starred as a member of an all-girl singing group in Disney Channel's original movie, The Cheetah Girls. She has also starred in The Bold and the Beautiful. Bryan is partnered with newcomer MARK BALLAS.
HELIO CASTRONEVES - The two-time Indianapolis 500 champion began the celebratory tradition of climbing the racetrack fence in 2001, racing for Team Penske. A native of Brazil, Castroneves is partner and owner of the NasrCastroneves racing team, which competes in the Brazilian Stock Car V8 Championship. He has amassed twelve wins and forty-nine top five finishes during his IndyCar career. Castroneves teams with reigning champ JULIANNE HOUGH, who returns for her sophomore season.

I'm going to try to guess who your favorite is by what I know about you. The only guess I would have would be..CAMERON MATHISON. Am I right? :-\
If there would've been a country singer...that would of been your pick, but since there wasn't..I'm going with the soap opera person. :)))
i think the race car driver will be a good one to watch..no boy band members this time..wonder why..

No, it's from the past and if Homer's beer bill wasn't so high every month, I could have Tivo. :((
I don't have Tivo either :o Well the females did pretty good but can't wait to see those guys tomorrow nite :///
Yep, I thought they did good too. I thought the judges were going to tell that Cheetah girl that she looked like a cheerleader up there though..lol Marie Osmond was funny and I can't believe Jane Seymour is 57. She's really hot for being in her 50's. They model girl that got the lowest score, was the only one who wasn't that great.
yea i agree, i bet that model is the 1st female to leave. it seems the models never do too well :)))
anxiously waiting to see how the guys do, 10 more minutes :/// :///
LMAO...Did you see Edyta's (sp) thong? She knew it was showing in the back..LOL When they walked over to the judges, Tom tried to tell her while he was looking..lol
:))) I missed that, but bet it was funny. I thought Cam did pretty good
LOL...Now Karina's clothes were falling off...I saw her crack. :)) She had to pull hers up about 5 times.. :))
Helio is a charmer!
I'm glad to see Karina get a p that won't take any crap from her, :))
So far all these guys are doing really good I think, gonna be a tough competition this season <..>
i thought helio and floyd were quite good, the others were okay also, but these two i thought did pretty good for first time out..i also think the model, josie will be going first..hope they get rid of mel b fast, dont particularly care for her...pretty good start to the season though..
I thought Mel B did a good job...
I pick the model girl to go home tonight..she sucked.
yea,the model josie has to be the first one to go...the two guys i dont particularly care for is that mark, not sure of his last name and that guy thats a model...mel b did okay, just dont care for her...i think they might keep wayne newton for a few weeks, just because hes such a big celebrity..
Sabrina VV VV
& the 1st 1 to leave is....Josie!
I forgot to turn over to see the last 5 minutes, but I taped it..lol We guessed pretty good on who was going home then. :^*

Oh gawd...Kids.. :)))
Mark was the guy with the lowest votes but guess that Josie had even less :))) Wasn't a model the 1st 1 voted off last season too?
I think so.
I hope Samantha comes back soon..Drew sucks as a host. freddy.gif
I'm not gonna be able to see it til 1:45 AM :-[
Some of em are doing so much better this week, but couple of em are messing up <..>

Why?
Helio was good :pp
I think Mark Cuban is going home. halloween27.gif
i agree.him or wayne newton, but because waynes such a celebrity,i think they will keep him a couple more weeks..i think jennie garth might be on shaky ground also..i really like the race car driver helio...
Shocker! neither one! To voters :^
i was shocked also that he went so soon, but figured he would only last a few weeks anyway..i think the cheetah girl and helio are the competition on that show this time..
:///
wow most of them did so good tonite, was a really good show I thought. I think it'll be Wayne or Mark going home tomorrow nite unless they have a big fan base
i think its between mark and wayne also, though i think it will probably be mark since wayne is so popular...helio did good but i was hoping for a bit higher score for him...i think jane and marie are doing quite good also..
Bye bye Wayne! I was surprised that Floyd was the other in the bottom 2 tho, I thought he was pretty good, lot better than Mark. halloween22.jpg
Don't you think he is glad he's going home? Wonder what Cheryl will do now? She always makes it to the bottom 3 at least..lol Julianne is my favorite dancer now. Well I started liking her last year..I really enjoy watching her dance. For being only 18 she's awesome. I don't even have a favorite star yet...but Helio is growing on me, probably because of Julianne.
He was just on the Jimmy Kimmel show, he said he enjoyed doing it but he knew he wasn't very good but he had lotta fun. said he & Cheryl would continue to be good friends, that she was a real sweet person :xx In honesty, bet he'll be glad to get back to Vegas, to his family & his BIG ranch :)))
Julianne is good, so's her brother. My fave is still Cam but I have a couple others I like too, lol. There's some real good competition this year I think. I think Floyd is good but would be better if he had a diff partner, I just don't care much for Karina (or her attitude) but she is a good dancer. freddy.gif halloween22.jpg
helio is my favorite also..i think mark will probably go next week......i like julianne, and that brother of hers is just a little cutie...lol..

I knew your favorite would be Cam (Because of AMC) :))) Karina's been a snob since her and Mario lost..lol She's kinda got that slutty attitude. :-X Juliannes brother, I think his name is Derek right? He's like even younger I think and I think, Jennie (sp) Garth is nervous because he is so young..lol Poor girl looks like she's going to die up there sometimes. I feel sorry for her. She got better scores this week, so maybe her confidence will be higher. I think she's really worried what her family is going to think. She kept looking back at her husbands response on Monday.
Mark Cuban did better tonite than he's done so far but........he'll probably be the 1 voted off tomorrow nite cause the others haven't danced yet :)))
i think mark or floyd are on shaky ground tonite..although they both did better,i dont think they have the fan base behind them like the others do.
:///
wow what just happened to Marie?
OMG...She just fell out in the floor. You can tell this is a live show. I thought it was a joke at first, but its not.
i was surfing ebay while watching & missed it, i looked & she was on the floor
well I'm sure glad she's ok..bet she's so embarraced
She walked over to the judges and was jumping up and down acting silly, then when Lyn started talking to her, she just fell down . I'm glad she's ok also.
my abc went out, did anyone elses?
mine didn't
Mine didn't either.
I was watching Tivo and they had a close up of her face & she just closed her eyes and down she went. Could tell she fainted. Guess it tells us to breathe when dancing! Also the stars are losing weight, Mark said he lost about 30 pounds and so did Wayne. Marie sells her dolls on QVC and there was a show the other day. Marie was not there but a gal who works with her and friend. Marie sold a doll (maybe 9") based on the dress she wore on the first show, it was a purple dress and the dance was a fox trot , which was the name of the doll. Had a tape of Marie and the guy who designs all the clothes for the show , she has had to have them taken in 4" so far LOL. The original dress was also there, it was beautiful, the beading etc was intricate. Oh yes, I bought the doll hahaahaha!
Who's going to pass out tonight? halloween22.jpg
The question now is...who passed out tonight? :))) I watched House tonight and then flipped over to the last of the show and saw the last 4 couples up there. I was shocked that Sabrina went home. She wasn't one of my favorites, but I was shocked.
i think everyone was shocked at sabrina leaving, the judges all stood up and had their mouths open..guess it must be the fan base keeping the others on..
That was a big shocker last night!! But the others do have a big fan base. Read today that Jane was taken to the hospital to be checked out. Hope she is okay.
Sabrina deserved to win ::)
Mel B. or Helio for the win now! :&
As much as I want Cam to win, I know he's not the best dancer so I was very surprised to see Sabrina go. I don't care lot for her but figured she'd win at the end. halloween22.jpg
I haven't done any voting, but I have felt that Sabrina was a professional compared to all the others (except maybe the spice girl) It was a given that she would win, so I'm not upset she's gone, just shocked.
Maksim is so friggen hot... :pp
Jane Seymours dress looks like she has toilet paper hanging all over from it.
I'm thinking Jane may be the 1 to go home tonite.
See where Marie's dad died today 0: so she won't be there tonite. This season sure has had its ups & downs.
And yes I'm still hoping for Cam to win! I loved his last dance & thought it was great.
(Gator, I feel the same as you about Sabrina but she was fun to watch)
Well I think the last 2 is gonna be Helio & Mel. But I can still hope! :)))
i hope mel does goes .. i dont like the girl
i agree helio and mel will be the final two, heres hoping helio takes that lovely trophy..lol..sounds like that sabrina and her dance partner are a couple..
IMHO--Max and his girl-I like him and she seems to bring out the unguarded side of him fall14.gif
well crap, all that voting i did the other nite & they sent him home !@#$ but oh well i was expecting it soon. not much longer til we see who wins! :{x

(OO) I thought about you when he got sent home...your favorite never seems to win. Thats how it is for me in American Idol every year, so I quit voting..lol (OO)
lol ty Tara...think I'll start picking someone I don't like then maybe my real fave will win :)) it goes the same way with my fave sport teams too.. (BUT my Mountaineers are doing great so far!! )
They haven't even danced yet, but I have a feeling Jennie will be the next to go. :-\ I'm more excited about "The Bachelor" than I am this tonight. :)))
I hope Marie wins now & puts it in all their eyes! lol I still think the winner will be Mel or Helio.
Is tonite the final of Bachelor?

Mel is starting to get on my nerves...I hope she goes home. She gets to close to my man..lmao
Yep the Bachelor is over. !@#$
Yea I don't care for her either but now Max is a different story! I never did care for the Spice Girls anyway, lol.
Helio should win it,Mel's personality grates on my nerves..
I don't really have a favorite this year, but I don't want Mel to win. :)))
I never thought I would say this about tap dancing...but those guys totally rocked. I liked it.
Do you think the judges are pissed that Marie is the 1st one safe? :)) You know they want Mel B to win. I think they've been really rude this season to Marie and Jane Seymour.
Edited to say...I can't believe they let Sabrina dance with the guest star (Avril) Sabrina and her partner are really bf and gf now. :)))
I love watching those guys dance, someday I wanta go see em in person. <..>
Well I guess Marie will get voted off next week. I agree with you about Mel & I don't want her to win either.
I don't think Marie will go next. She seems to have a ton of fans. They call her name first everytime.
Yep, Marie has a huge fan base. With all the members in her fan club including the fact her dolls are very collectible and they have fan groups. Not to mention the Osmond name and family. She has a CD of Christmas music. I watch her when she's on QVC because she's funny and there are millions of ppl there. I really don't want to see Helio leave, think Marie would be the most gracious one before Mel. I'd vote for Helio first.
I've seen some of her dolls on QVC & they are gorgious.
I'd like to see it come down to Marie & Helio the final 2. Ya know voting would be tough cause she has a big fan base but so does Helio cause of Nascar, but then he has been doing an excellent job dancing.
Quote from: CindyLouWho on November 20, 2007, 10:09:43 PM

Helio isn' t part of Nascar , but still has them as racing fans. :?:
And the winner is................ I don't know...lol
LMMFAO...Ok..I don't want Mel to win and I honestly didn't think their freestyle was that great at all. I like Marie because she has a great personality but her freestyle was kind of corny, but it was cute. But what did Bruno say? It's like watching the what ? and the bride of Chucky? I was laughing so hard I missed the first part of it. I knew the judges were going to give them crap for a score. I hope she wins just to piss the judges off. LMAO! Honestly I want Max and Julianna to win,but that can't happen. :)))
I missed a few parts of the show cause of a 17 month old here wanting my attention, lol. I did hear Bruno say something bout Bride of Chucky but missed the other part dang it! From what I seen of the dances, I thought Helio's was both the better of em all but.......he's still not getting my votes :))) But I'd rather see him win the trophy tomorrow than Mel B. I agree with my Mom tho, I think the judges have favored Helio & Mel B. almost from the start. winter20.gif
Did you see that Bruno & Carrie Ann are having a dance-off in Jan? That should be interesting :{x dance11.gif

I thought Helios and Juliannas freestyle was the best. The crowd loved both of their dances. The judges have been picky this year. Mel B coming from the Spice Girls did give her an advantage on dancing. The stars are suppose to be people who haven't danced before. I was noticing tonight how close they get with each other. At the beginning of every season there is no chemistry and by this time they just love each other..lol The only good thing I can say about Mel B is her body is in perfect condition. She just had a baby...didn't she have twins? I can't remember but anyways, she looks good. I didn't know about the dance off in Jan. That should be funny. One more thing then I'm going to shut up until the 2 hour finale tomorrow night..lol Samantha looked like she just got a boob job..lol I know she just had a baby, but her boobs were all perfect tonight..lmao
I thought the judges were rather harsh tonight. But Maries freestyle was way off base and knew the judges would be hard on her.
Finale night :^* You know how they eliminate one couple in the first hour, well I think either Helio or Mel B will one of them. I don't think Marie will be. I don't think she will win, but I think she will be in 2nd. I don't think the judges like her to much, but they made the show so that America could vote, so in the words of Taylor " Deal with it" :)))
i agree about maries choice of freestyle..she could have picked something better than that..it was cute, but not for competition..mel b does have a pretty toned body now after having her baby few months ago..dancing has helped im sure, but i read where she had some plastic surgery done few months after the baby was born..some lipo and breast lift...

No wonder she looks so good..lol
Julianne is so VV VV :pp
I was just reading about the show tonight. Guess I never watched it before last year or 2 and didn't remember how the winner is chosen, the judges decide between the final 2. Well, Marie could be in the final 2 but those judges will never select her to win. The show is to be about stars that are not dancers and yet it seems always a pro sneaks in, this year it's Mel. Fortunately the year I watched Emmitt won.

They've never done it that way before :-\
I read it this morning and now can't find it!
This what they are saying now-
After judges' scores are combined with viewer votes, the bottom-ranked pair was to be dismissed at the top of Tuesday's show.
Tuesday's season finale was to feature a performance by Celine Dion, as well as final dances by the top two couples.
here is a link to the TVGuide article to show how hard it has been on that show

I hear ya! Mel really wanted that mirror ball.. :))) Did you see her face before they announced the winner? :))) I was thinking that's a shame they only give a trophy for all that hard work they do for 2 months, but I guess because their "stars" is why they do that.
Cheryl's probably pissed her record for winning back to back is tied up now. :)))
Helio Dances Around Tough Questions
Speed racer Helio Castroneves proved he can do a pretty deft pirouette -- when it comes to dodging questions about his love life, that is.
TMZ caught up with Helio at the airport in New York this afternoon, and he chatted up a storm! But when asked about getting dumped by his ex-fiancee and if he was more than dancing partners with Julianne Hough, the dancer-driver hit the brakes, saying only, "My personal life is my personal life." Julianne just giggled off all the rumors, hoarsely.
Meanwhile, Helio watched a fan mambo for him, and even got on the phone with the guy's mom -- but still, no dirt on the breakup.

I just saw someone ask Hulk Hogan if he was going to be on the next Dancing With The Stars...He didn't say yes but he didn't say no. He did say if Wayne Newton could do it, why couldn't he. I bet he is. :)))
Wasn't sure which DWTS thing to post this on..lol anyway, I just found this while looking for some names of who's gonna be on the new 1 next month. Don't know what is true or isn't but will post it anyway just in case. 2 of em I can't stand so hope they're NOT on there!
ONE FOOT IN
'DANCING WITH STARS' PARTNERS UP
By DON KAPLAN
February 4, 2008 -- IF you believe the buzz, the '70s are about to samba onto "Dancing with the Stars."
With about a month before the debut of the sixth edition of ABC's popular celebrity ballroom dance competition, word has begun to circulate in show business circles, in magazines and on the Internet that several of this season's participants will be stars from the 1970s.
The new season debuts on March 17, and ABC is expected to release the names of the contestants in about two weeks.
"Many of the potential contestants haven't signed their deals yet," a source close to the show told The Post. "And those that did have been told to keep their mouths shut."
In earlier seasons, ABC officials have admitted to being slightly peeved when contestants - many of whom have not been seen on TV for years - leak their names to the press looking for attention.
An ABC spokeswoman said the network does not comment on casting, but that has only fueled fan speculation as to who may appear on the show this time around.
Topping the list is "Brady Bunch" mom Florence Henderson, who, in the past, has been spotted sitting in the audience of the show. Also in the mix is child-star Kristy McNichol, former "Charlie's Angel" Cheryl Ladd, Priscilla Presley, Marla Maples, Olympic skater Kristi Yamaguchi, "Bachelor" host Chris Harrison, "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" star Paige Hemmis and possibly even Donny Osmond.
Osmond's sister, Marie, credits the show with re-launching her career. Last week she announced a deal to star in her own syndicated talk show.
Henderson, who has never been shy about staying in the public eye, is a likely candidate because she is plugging a new cable show, "The Florence Henderson Show," on the Retirement Living Channel. Her presence on the show would give producers a chance to stock the audience with her former "Brady" co-stars who would possibly be available for future seasons.
Maples reportedly signed a deal late last week, according to In Touch magazine. Presley is also considered a shoo-in for this season.
hmmm..unusual grouping..they usually have one or two "studs" in the mix...wonder what happen this time
Those aren't all the names, also not even definite yet. I'm just anxious to see who's gonna be on there so been looking for info :)))
What? No soap stars? :))) CindyLou won't watch now. :))) I wonder if anyone young is going to be on. :-\ :)))
HAHA So funny Tara!! I haven't found anything bout who else is gonna be on there but I'm looking when I can. Maybe some1 else will find something. ""
I heard the same names you said, although I had heard Hulk Hogan and then I heard it would be his daughter, but I don't know now.
OK anyone that likes Maks, here's ya chance to see him do some pole-dancing, :))) ???
AMC Ladies Go Pole-dancing with a Star: Maksim!
Dancing with the Stars favorite Maksim Chmerkovskiy will guest star on an upcoming episode of ABC's All My Children — ultimately affording him a reunion with Season 5 hoofer Cameron Mathison.
In the Feb. 26 episode, Maksim (playing himself) will teach the women of Fusion pole-dancing at the bequest of Greenlee, who has decided that her staff needs a fun diversion. Cue the arrival of Mathison's Ryan, who, ABC teases, "will get inspired seeing the Fusion women dancing the pole."
I do not know what that means. Every idea I come up with just sounds all kinds of wrong. — Matt Mitovich
I saw it advertised that in this weeks show of Bruno vs Carrie Ann they are supposed to announce the upcoming stars for the next Dancing with the Stars...
Yea hope there's some good people on there

pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who was paired with Spice Girl Mel B. last season, will not be returning for the show's sixth season, his rep confirmed to People.
"He just needs a break," an ABC spokesperson told People. "He is part of the Dancing family, and he will be back."
Yea he has a lot of fans & they are upset cause he's not dancing this season lol

Dancing's season six premiere kicks off on March 17.
im glad to see louie van amstel is back this season as one of the pros..i dont always like the way they pair them up though..it seems that jonathan and tony dovolani always get partners that will most likely not make it to the final two.....just running down the list of stars,i would have to say that probably kristi and mario would be the two that would stand the best chance..but we shall see..maybe that latin guy,but im not familiar with who he is..
I wanna dance between the sheets with Shannon Elizabeth :pp :pp :pp
Where's Max? girls18.gif
Ain't watching without Max :>>
Max is sitting out this season unfortunely girls18.gif
If I remember correctly - I think he said towards end of last season he was having back trouble - so probably needs the rest.
The previous winners are supposed to be on Oprah Thursday & will be dancing with their dance partners. <..>
Also "Entertainment Tonight" is having special behind the scenes footage from the new show every evening.
Not long to go now, I can't wait <..> <..>

That's alot of being on your feet and remain under the sheets!
My 90 year old grandma loves the show-she can't wait for it either-she just wishes that it would be on more :!#
My mom does too & she's 76 <..>
Well, theres hope for couple of the men, but I see no hope for the others, lol. That Mario looks like a winner but then I think he said he had some dance experience but not for ballroom dancing. I'll have to go with Steve Guttenberg for my fave because I loved his movies & still like to watch em when they come on. :^* <..> Now to see how the women do tomorrow nite :///
I liked Jason Taylor, he has some grace and style and with a little more practice he should go far. I feel sorry for Julianne though stuck with Adam Carolla, he is not gonna last, talk about stiff.
since she has won the past two seasons, they probably didnt want to put a potential winner with her this time..
Yea its time for someone to win besides Cheryl & Julianne <..>
I haven't seen her in years, but Monica looks like she's lost some weight. She looked stiff out there though.
Priscilla was good <..>
Like usual Kristi totally blows away her competition. She's got this whole competition in the bag if she keeps that up.
I didn't care for the men except for Jason and Steve , who was just plain fun. But mario was good & he mentioned look what happend to,darn for got her name, that got the boot early last season. I was glad to see Prescilla and Kristy go so well.
Yea most of the women did pretty good, even Priscilla which surprised me :))) ) Maybe a woman will finally win this season. I'm still going with Steve G. tho <..>
adam carolla and monica seles need to go this coming week...that monica seems to have no personality what so ever...i dont think that latin guy christian,is going to do as well as helio did last season..i think it might go down to kristi and mario..
I'm with you Misty, I think it'll be Adam & Monica voted off.......Mario & Kristi seem to be the 2 best so far but its still early yet
<:>
Well we was right on the female but wrong on the guy, lol. <..>
all I can say is "WOW" !!! :))
i read in a magazine where drew lachey and cheryl burke were seeing each other now...guess his wifes out in the cold..
"Dancing With Stars" Dances with Truth
Posted Mar 26th 2008 2:18PM by TMZ Staff
So you think all those performances on "Dancing with the Stars" are arranged by the professional dancers, like Cheryl Burke? Think again, people.
Our spies -- and they're unimpeachable -- tell us many of the routines are arranged by outside choreographers, especially when it comes to the "younger, less experienced" professional dancers, like Burke, Kym Johnson, Derek Hough, and his sis, Julianne.
The show makes it appear as if the professional partners create all the moves for the celeb contestants -- but that's just not the case. All that rehearsal video is a little deceptive -- we're just sayin'.
One source says, "Cheryl Burke is the worst" when it comes to arranging her own material. She relies heavily on outside help.
BTdubs, we shot video of Cheryl Burke with one of the professional choreographers -- Wendy Johnson -- outside an L.A. restaurant. We're told Wendy worked on the dance that won Drew Lachey the cheesy trophy.
For the record, Cheryl's rep says any insinuation that she gets outside help is a "blatant lie," adding that Wendy Johnson is a good friend of Cheryl's -- she's known her since she was 11 or 12-years-old. Also, the rep says, Cheryl "spends Tuesday night choreographing her routines in her apartment."
An ABC source says it's not against the rules for the dancers to use outside help.
Well crap, my fave got voted off :'(( I'm gonna stop picking a fave cause they always lose :)))
who got voted off, I missed it.
Steve did
do u have dancing on ice over there? i rather watch that than the ballroom dancing ..at least u can see them fall most of the time lol
we had one season of stars on ice,but i think they didnt bring it back cause there was stuff going on between one of the married skaters and his partner..guess they didnt want any more hassle with it.

i read in a magazine where drew lachey and cheryl burke were seeing each other now...guess his wifes out in the cold..
This was refuted in another article that had an interview with Cheryl. They are not a couple and Drew is with his family. His wife was on the tour with them all , so I think that's just gossip.
yea i read the story they had in last weeks People saying the story was false, but just read another article in another magazine this week, where the two of them were seen together out somewhere..who knows for sure...
I think Adam or Marisa will go this week...i really like this show, but for some reason i dont like this group thats on this year, except for Kristi...
I thought the show was so boring, I ust couldn't stay interested for some reason. I bet Adam goes next. <..>
P Presley has had so many facelifts she can't begin to show emotion in her face! After Adam came out on the unicycle he was doomed!
This season for some reason I have been falling asleep both on Monday & Tuesday, I just watch GMA wednesday morning to see who was elimanated :/o\
i agree,i dont think the group on this year is as interesting as they usually are..kristi will more than likely walk away with the trophy...i think adam or marisa will go tonite..
The football player (forgot his name) did tie Kristi last nite so could be a good contender
"Dancing With the Stars": It's Kristi Yamaguchi's contest to lose
Posted on Apr 7, 2008 10:12:16 PM
What will it take to beat Kristi Yamaguchi on "Dancing With the Stars"?
"An asteroid hits," Marlee Matlin suggested Monday night.
Yamaguchi's opponents identified her as the front-runner. Priscilla Presley warned that she and her partner, Louis van Amstel, were coming for Kristi. Jason Taylor said it was a one-horse race -- and he meant Kristi.
But by evening's end, Taylor was tied for the lead with Yamaguchi with 29 points apiece. Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba handed out 10s to Taylor -- even though the NFL star stumbled in his waltz. Taylor did well. But perfection? No way.
Len Goodman picked Shannon Elizabeth's waltz as the night's best. She came through elegantly despite a major challenge: Partner Derek Hough had been injured during practice, reducing their time to work together.
Who goes home Tuesday night? Adam Carolla should be shown the door for riding a unicycle. It was one of the strangest routines in the show's history -- and an odd way to perform a paso doble.
But Carolla's fan base could save him.
Marissa Jaret Winokur, who had a rough time last week, rebounded with a rousing paso doble. She moved across the floor on her knees. Don't try that at home. She wants to stay in this show, people. Do you like her desperation?
Mario also rebounded with a paso doble filled with strutting energy. The judges were divivded, though, on that one. Goodman and Tonioli argued, but such passion over that dance was misplaced.
More fierce than Mario was Cristian de la Fuente. In his paso doble, he grunted, he twirled Cheryl Burke, he dragged her across the floor. Bruno found it "very convincing" and "very Latino."
In the waltz category, Presley and Matlin delivered very pretty performances. But the Presley routine contained a lift, a no-no.
"The lift police are back. This ain't no disco," host Tom Bergeron said.
Matlin had the edge and brought Inaba to tears. Oh, and Inaba said the performance took her breath away, too. That seemed excessive, too.
Yamaguchi was splendid on her paso doble -- and she didn't stumble. She had to open the show, which put her at a disadvantage.
Still, Tonioli told her admiringly: "You were Jezebel out there."
And a champion, too.
I realize the show needs competition. It doesn't need contrived competition or inflated, baffling scores when there's a front-runner as fine as Kristi. She should win, asteroid or not.

Oh those kids were so cute and talented!! sorry one got eliminated girls18.gif
Adam wasn't a very good ballroom dancer but I thought he was entertaining & fun to watch, cya Adam! lol
I'm with you about those kids Squid but wow, they were so good. IMO, they was the best thing about the show last nite :D <..>
There are two very young pros dancing this year and were there last year, Julianne and her brother Derek. They must have started very young also to be as good as they are now.
There the parents are at fault, that is just too young! and silly. But these kids were 8 & 9. In the interviews they seemed like normal kds otherwise.
i think Priscilla is on shaky ground tonite..

Julianne's new music video
She made just too many mistakes last night.
I wasn't very sad to see Shannon leave. She was getting on my nerves. Did anyone catch she said her partner would go home alone if he didn't start being nicer? Hmmmm
Every season there has to be a 'shomance'
I think Marissa will go home tonight.
from last nites show,i thought it was Christian first, followed by Kristi, then Jason..
yeah,he did quite well both last week and this week, even with a bum arm...i also think marissa will leave tonite, but overall, does anyone think this years final three, whoever they may be,is anywhere near as good as the final three usually are? i dont think they are..ive actually been bored off and on with some of the dances this season, and usually the show holds my interest more than it has this season..
And the winner is..... :///
I think Kristi will probably win, but that's not who I want to win. :)))
Thats how I felt too Tara. She was the fave to win from the start (not by me tho! lol ) She sure was good but I thought she had a big advantage over the others. After my fave, Steve, got sent home, I kinda was disappointed in the show lol. I figured she would win but I usually go for the underdogs. Can't wait to see who will be on there next time :))) <..>
I am happy that Mark won, he is a great dancer and choreographer..........his partner helped a little too :D

I'm a big fan of Julianne Hough. I think she's the best female dancer they have, but anyways, have you heard her new single? I'm not much into country music, but I saw the her video when I was flipping channels. I really like her song and I hope she does well.
Yes her song is nice, she'll do well with it. She was on the country awards show the other nite. She's supposed to be on "Good Morning America" tomorrow morning (Thursday) & will be singing it. Her sister is pretty too & she's a songwriter in Nashville. :-{ <..>
