Big Brother 9 Confirmed
Robyn Kass of Kassting Inc the primary casting agency for Big Brother announced today that Big Brother 9 is confirmed to commence in February.

Robyn Kass says "We are casting with the thought in mind that the house guests would move into the house during the first week of February."
The speculation so far is that it will be a normal Big Brother, not a Celebrity Big Brother and it is a strong possibility that the summer Big Brother will also take place. Seeing as CBS has released the casting call locations taking place in November and December this basically proves both of these points. Big Brother will most likely air on the first week of February with the casting of the next group of reality virgins.
Woooo hooooo. I heard that since the writers strike was going on, and they already had casting call for Season 9, they might start this earlier..Yay!!! :^* Thank you for the update.

Reports that CBS was considering using a special winter edition of Big Brother -- which has exclusively been a summer series since it first premiered in July 2000 -- as strike replacement programming first surfaced last month.
Shortly thereafter, Big Brother casting director Robyn Kass posted that the show would be "coming back a little earlier this year" on her MySpace blog and CBS -- while not confirming Kass' comments -- announced plans for a 15-city nationwide casting tour.
Big Brother's winter edition will use the same three-nights-a-week broadcasting format as the show's summer editions. In addition to Tuesday night broadcasts, Big Brother 9 will air Wednesday and Sunday night editions at 8PM ET/PT beginning February 13 and 17.
With the exception of its Wednesday broadcasts -- which are expected to feature the live elimination broadcasts that have traditionally aired in Survivor's Thursdays at 8PM ET/PT time period during the show's summer editions -- Big Brother 9 will be airing in the same time periods as Big Brother's recent summer editions. The network has not yet determined how long Big Brother 9's season will run, a CBS spokesperson told Reality TV World on Tuesday.
The Early Show co-anchor Julie Chen -- who is also the wife of CBS president and CEO Les Moonves -- will reprise her Big Brother hosting duties for the show's ninth edition.
The WGA's three-year contract -- covering 12,000 movie and television writers -- expired on October 31 at midnight after more than three months of negotiations between the organization and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) proved unsuccessful, and despite recent talks, the parties still have not reached a new agreement. As a result, most scripted television shows that debuted their new seasons this fall now have few or none original episodes remaining for broadcast.
Last month, Big Brother executive producer Allison Grodner told the New York Daily News that given the uncertainty of the ongoing strike, CBS had told the show's producers to "get ready for anything." The WGA's last strike occurred in 1988 and lasted 22 weeks.
"We really want it to stand out," Grodner told the Daily News about Big Brother's first non-summer installment. "We want it to be special because we've never done something like this before. I promise you it will be different from any other Big Brother you've ever seen."
One of those differences will apparently be the absence of last season's "America's Player" twist that allowed home viewers to secretly control some of the actions of Big Brother 8 houseguest Eric Stein.
"That's really hard to do twice," Grodner told the Daily News. "Anyone coming to be a part of Big Brother this year would know about it and we'd hate to have people act differently because they think that the viewers are in control. ... That doesn't mean that it couldn't return in some other way, but doing exactly what we did again, no."
Big Brother 9 will represent the first time since their initial Summer 2000 editions that Big Brother and Survivor -- which will premiere its sixteenth edition on February 7 -- will air on CBS at the same time.
Big Brother 9 will be replacing The Unit, CBS' military team drama, in the network's Tuesdays at 9PM ET/PT time period. The Amazing Race 12 and Kid Nation -- the reality shows that are currently airing in Big Brother 9's Sunday and Tuesday time periods -- will have completed their seasons by the show's February premiere. Prior to Big Brother 9's premiere, CBS plans to run new episodes of Power of 10 in the Wednesdays at 8PM ET/PT time period (Kid Nation's season finale will air December 12).
In addition to Big Brother, Survivor, and Power of 10, CBS also plans to debut new seasons of The New Adventures of Old Christine and Jericho as well as The Captain, a new sitcom starring Jeffrey Tambor, in January and February.

Autism Group Demands Apology From CBS
NEW YORK (AP) - A national autism group is demanding an apology from CBS over a disparaging remark a contestant on the reality show "Big Brother" made about people with the disorder.
John Gilmore, executive director of Autism United, says his group has been trying to speak with CBS executives since the show aired last Tuesday.
On the show, a contestant named Adam, who said he works for an autism foundation, said he would spend his winnings on a hair salon for people with developmental disabilities "so retards can get it together and get their hair done." The Web site for the show describes him as a 29-year-old public relations manager from Del Ray Beach, Fla.
His remark shocked his partner, Sheila, who replied, "Don't call them that."
Adam responded by saying, "Disabled kids. I can call them whatever I want. I work with them all day, OK?"
A call to CBS was not immediately returned.

I have been reading recaps on jokersupdates site and they had a link james, wasn't pretty and it wasn't with a girl either. So Your Fired Adam Jasinski It was in today NY Post. I also think that the "bring someone back" twist this season is just plain silly. It was understandable bringing Sharon back to replace Neil, but bringing back houseguests who LOST the game fair and square is NOT fair and square. If either Jen or Jacob come back, they're just going to be targeted again, along with either Ryan or Sharon. There's no WAY America will vote Amanda or Allison to come back - they're just plain hated. If Parker gets back in, I am sure it will be with TMZ's help, which isn't fair to the other hopefuls. Alex did get the shaft being paired with Amanda, and even though I liked him, I do not think it would be fair for him to come back either.
Oh and sorry, Homer, but your girl is completely daft. She is this season's Whamber, but without the crying. She is going to come out of this looking like a complete idiot, especially when she sees it all.

Yes, she is that dumb.. I have watched enough BB After Dark to see that 1st hand. In many HOH competitions, luck is a factor, and luck was on her side this week. The competition was about guessing - period.
Chelsia's antics this week, although a tad extreme, are actually quite understandable. She didn't seem phased about losing the money - she seemed sincerely upset about being separated from James. Many of you may not like either of them, but they do have a potentially good thing going for them as a couple. She said what was on her mind, and everything she said was truthful. Natalie IS ill-educated and has absolutely no self-esteem. She even wears a dumb and clueless look on her face.
Many of you trash James for being a liar and going back on his word and such, but if you had watched that HOH competition on BBAD, you would have seen that he really shouldn't have been held to any deal. The "deal offerings" started about halfway through the duration of the competition. Natalie wouldn't give him an answer, and Matt kept telling her not to take any deals. In the last 15-20 minutes of the competition, Natalie went downhill quickly while James stood strong. There was NO conversation between them in the final minutes of the competition - Natalie's gag reflex got the best of her, and she yelled, "ok deal!" as she was jumping off. James wasn't even looking in her direction when she jumped off. The on-air edit painted a different picture, however - they made it seem like the conversation took place in the last few minutes. The part they showed with James saying he wouldn't put either of them up was a couple of hours before Natalie had her puking fit. She puked several times after she jumped off, and who was it taking care of her? First Chelsia, then James, then Sheila.
As for general character and "good vs. evil" in the house, it's all crap. Of the people who are left in the house and the jury house, there are only TWO people who have not been involved directly with making fun of other people in a harsh, cruel way - Adam and James.
Natalie's worst was making fun of Shelia.
Matt's worst was making fun of Natalie.
Sheila's worst was making fun of Adam.
Chelsia's worst was making fun of Natalie.
Ryan's worst was making fun of Allison.
Josh's worst was making fun of EVERYBODY. (Although his football-lineup-pep-talk-with-each-of-the-houseguests when he was outside alone, standing in the hottub was absolutely hilarious!)
Sharon's worst was laughing (quite annoyingly) and agreeing with all of Josh's taunts.
Adam seems to be a good guy, but has a plethora of disgusting habits and is extremely annoying to watch and hear. James, although he is obviously a child at heart, seems to be the wisest of them all. There are tons of occasions on BBAD where I have seen him show true human compassion towards others. Who cares that he has done adult movies with other men? As I have said before, that doesn't make you a "bad person." I am rooting for James to win the whole thing, mainly because I think he's gotten a bad rap with the show editing.

Natalie puked immediately after the competition ended, so there's no way that this deal talk happened hours before. James only began to offer a deal to save his own :o0 because he knew Natalie was doing good up there. His hands were blistering, and until she got motion sick Natalie was looking like she could have stayed up there for another 10 hours.

should have been edited if it was edited unfairly. Did you expect them to show the whole 3.5 hour long competition in it's entirety? There wasn't much for them to show between the time they cut the deal and the time the competition ended, so of course they had to edit it the way they did. And if anyone has gotten unfair editing this year it's been Natalie. I think the producers have shown every single "dumb" thing she has said.
The bottom line is that he promised Natalie safety for her and Matt, so, no matter what you or anyone else may say, he went back on his word. And this week, he will be paying for it.

They haven't shown ALL of Natalie's dumb moments.. there are many more jewels that happen constantly.
I think the editing should have simply added more timestamps. They had a few of them, but the crucial ones were left out, making it seem it was happening all at once.

Perhaps you should reread your original post, but first I'll correct your mistakes in this one. Chelsia was out at 12:02 AM EST. That is a whole three minutes, not a couple of hours.
In your most recent post, you're using the time when Chelsia fell (12:02 AM), compared with the time Natalie fell (1:15 AM), which is still not even close to a "couple" of hours.

I think that question was purposely used so they could sway the results as they wanted to.
They could have answered it either way, I personally think Sharon got screwed out of an HOH.

Of course it's fixed. The producers are able to sway the votes and behaviour depending on what is discussed in the diary room.
The best example of this is last season with Jen when they suggested to her to take Dick's cigarettes and destroy them. The whole conversation leaked out of the diary room onto one of the live feeds and it was recorded and released by one of the people from another board I go to. That is why the producers ended up replacing his smokes because they knew they caused her to do what she did.
The producers didn't rig the HOH against Sharon. If anything, they probably would have wanted her to win the HOH to see Sheila, Adam, and Ryan campaigning against eachother.
They knew that if they said "fact" that it would create a lot of drama/suspicion around the house, and (surprise, surprise).... it did.
Everything "controversial" that's done on these types of shows is done for one thing...ratings. They need to make an interesting show, and that's hard to do with only 4 people (boring people, at that) left in the house.

The blame should be put on Sharon for not winning. Even after she got that question wrong, she still could have won in the tiebreaker question. Julie even repeated the question, and Sharon was still 300+ minutes off.
Do you watch the feeds?
If you watch them, you would know that BB changes alot things. Gives info to 1 player on others etc. In my book that is "fixing" the show.
Several times this season the players have come out of DR and said some info that they found out from the DR.
Alot of times when the feeds go to flames for just a bit, this is when BB has said .. dont' talk about that... They dont' want the people to know what info has been passed on.
Several of the players from past shows has talked about this in the media.
They sway the show how they want, it is a given.
Sorry about using your name to describe NAT, but there is an old saying that works in this situation: " When the shoe fits, you gotta wear it"

There's a huge difference between telling the HG's info vs outright rigging a competition against them. Knowing info doesn't always keep you in the house. Winning competitions when you need to does keep you in the house.
If they swayed the show how they wanted to, James and Natalie (aka the only interesting ones this season) would still be in the house. During the allstar season, if the producers had their way the final 2 would have been Janelle and Dr. Will. But no... we had the most boring final 2 in BB history in Boogie and Erika. The producers can strongly suggest that the HG's do certain things, but they can't sway things the way that they want all the time.
And don't worry... I have things for James and Chelsia too. Too many of them are too dirty to post here though. :))

As I was sitting down with Marcellous, I nearly choked on my filet mignon as this came out of a BB9 castmembers mouth. This is what was told to me by someone apparentley involved in the orgy. Ok I guess Monday night Natalie and her sister participated in a group orgy involving several men at the hilton hotel. There were two men involved in this from bb9 but I'd rather not say who. This does not surprise me in the least because I was with this entire group of people, right until they dropped me off at my hotel! Well, what do you expect from strippers? I guess they filmed it too! Wow how nice.
I used to like Natalie, but after meeting her in person I can only describe her in three words: Dumb, Poorly dressed, and Slutty. I know that sounds mean but it's true. While I was also at the wrap party Chelsia said that Natalie was sticking Caronas up her ( you know where) Is that what girls do in the beaver state? Natalie has already had a career in stripping and serving coffee in her bikini. Clearly with what happened Monday evening **** is next on her list. I'm sorry but women should not be acting like that. It saddens me that she thinks this a way to get a man.
At the wrap party I had one drink, so please hold your insults. Ask anyone at the wrap party about this. I'm sure my good friend Dick would love to tell you all about it! Amanda said she had hickies all over her neck but I didn't want to get close enough to her to get a look.
Other than that horrible incident, everyone was so nice. Jen, Chelsia, and Amanda are very beautiful in person! Adam is a sweetheart. James was awesome. Sheila was a riot! I love her! Joshua cracked me up. It was nice catching up with CG, Marci, and Rachel BB6. Everyone went out to the clubs, but I went back to my hotel because I was so tired. Well that's pretty much it. Sorry if that sounds harsh to some of you but that's what everyone was talking about.
