Title: VPMinimizer v2.0
Post by: Mayhem on July 01, 2009, 06:15:06 PM
The VP Minimizer helper will check every 5 seconds for the "Virtual Prize Award" screen & The Rank Badge popups. If one is detected, It will auto minimize the popup to keep your auto running smoothly. It will take care of the "Private Chat", "Mute Player", "Invitation Cancelled" windows. This will work with any cheat and web browser.

v2.0 Update :

If you receive an 'administrator message' that the server will be 'shutdown', this helper will close the pogo game window.

That will ensure you don't lose any progress you have made in the game.

You can download the new version here : http://www.pogocheats.net/clicks/click.php?id=136

Holey moley!  Thanks, Mayhem.  Stopping the game window when the maintenance pop-up comes around is HUGE!

Thanks very much.

Question......does it just cancel the pop up or will it close out the game window ?  If it just cancels the pop up without closing the game room window then you can still lose progress.

Hey, Mayhem... I was thinking....

What about making VP Minimizer hit the "refuse" button when someone invites to chat instead of just making the invitation disappear.  People are testing other players by sending out invitations to chat to determine who is cheating and who isn't.  If they get an actual response to their invitation, they might get off their high horses and think that someone is actually there.

I was just thinkin'....

I could do that - I would need a screenshot of that window though.

Squid, if you hide/block the chat and someone invites you, they get get an automatic decline from you.  If they do it a second time, they still get a decline but a pop up window stays on YOUR screen asking if you want to mute this player.

Mayhem, you will prolly need a screen shot of that too......I will see about getting that to you.
Title: Re: VPMinimizer v2.0
Post by: Mayhem on July 05, 2009, 06:05:12 PM
Ok, so closing the invite window will send them a decline notice? Then there would no need to hit the decline button.

The program already handles that 'mute' window.

If you have your chat showing and someone invites you to a private chat, a pop up box comes up with two buttons :  accept or decline ( on the invitee's side it says waiting for so n so to respond) If the original person who invited you does not get a response from the person they invited there is a button to cancel the request.  On the other person's screen it says "so n so has canceled the invitation".  These boxes do not go away without any action on your part.

If you decline, the other person gets a pop up that says "so N so has declined your invitation for personal chat"
If you accept, both you and the other person automatically flip names over to the private chat screen area.

Now, if you hide the chat area........if a person invites you to a private chat they automatically get a decline on your behalf.  However, if they invite you for a second time, I get a pop up box on MY screen that does NOT go away on its own that asks Do you want to mute this player?

Make sense?  undecided.gif

Yes, it does (except that I believe you meant to say the inviter's side, not the invitee's).

I didn't know that closing the chat window sends an automatic denial to chat requests.  That's good info.  Maybe the VP Minimizer can do both:  Click the "decline" button for those who forget to close the chat and click "yes" for muting a persistent chat requestor? Is this possible?

I'll wait to send screenshots until I hear what is needed by Mayhem.

Good info, Hocky!!  WTG

Squid, I sent Mayhem two SS of the private chat thing we talked about earlier.  No word if he got them or not or if he is working on it though.

Mayhem, will VP minimizer NOT work on the deluxe or to go games?  I was playing Diner dash overnight and it didnt cancel out my server being shut down for maintenance pop up box.  Will make sure I am in a regular pogo game next week to test it out and see if it works or maybe its something on my end?

Did anyone else set it up while playing a deluxe game and have it work or not work??????

Sorry about that - I was under the impression that nothing needed to be modified. I thought someone said that closing the chat window sends an automatic denial to chat requests, so there is no need to click on any buttons (Am I wrong about this?). VPMinimizer also handles closing the "Mute Player" box - was that feature not working for you guys?

VPMinimizer can be easily modified to handle Deluxe games. I just need a SS of the main screen (when it first loads up) of any one of the games and I should be able to handle the rest based off that.

Post by: Squid on July 16, 2009, 03:44:12 AM
Oh, ok.  I wasn't aware that the VPM handles the Mute Player box that pops up.  Closing the chat does send a chat denial to the requestor but if the requestor sends again, Pogo sends up the inquiry box asking if you want to mute the player.  I guess you've taken care of that, dintya?  Thanks, Mayhem.  I'm done with all the Deluxe games except The Poppit Show.  If you want a SS of that one, I'll send it the next time I go into that game **shudder**.

I downloaded this before all the questions came out so do i need to uninstall the one i have and download the newest version?
As for the deluxe games, i was playing WWU the other night when maintenance came up and it stopped it for me and I didnt lose my progress either. i happened to wake up early and noticed it had stopped the game so i restarted it and shortly after i got my last rank badge.

Mayhem, are you able to add things to VP Minimizer that are not Pogo related?  For instance, a friend's computer is always getting a pop up from SeaMonkey regarding updates and VP Minimizer does not take care of that.  Would a screenshot of the pop-up enable you to add it?

Thanks tons.

You're both right, Joe and InkyOne....I have had the SeaMonkey issue as well as iTunes.

Also, Mayhem....is there a way, if I send you a picture of it, to do something about those annoying door to door solicitors that pop up from time to time?

There is an option in iTunes where you can go into the Apple Software Update page and click on EDIT>>Schedule and you can click Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Never. By clicking Never you don't get that "apple needs updating" popup. The next time you go to iTunes you will be reminded that there is a newer version. I too hate how this update screen messes with the Auto.

Just wanted to give a big thanks to Mayhem and the gang for making this updated VP minimizer!  I finally had the chance to see if it would work last night.  I was set up in Stack'em and prayed after I went to be that it would cancel the pop up box and boot me out of the game.  I woke up this morning to see that it indeed did as promised and I did NOT lose any progress!

Job well done!  cheesy.gif hi11.gif tumbsup.gif

I think it worked for me, as well.  I can't really tell... there are no signs of anything.  Pogo DID go down for maintenance and my game window was gone when I awoke... so I guess it worked.   magnifier.gif
