If you purchased an album in there a while back for full price, will pogo refund you the difference in gems for the sale price? I thought I remember someone had done that before and they got the difference refunded. Might have been for a different reason though?

I don't think they will refund you the difference as they usually have a clause to that effect.
the most pogo will do is if you bought the album at full price the day or so before the sale and you complain loudly enough refund the difference in gems.
I have gotten the difference refunded to me in the past. I am very persuasive when I need to be. I think a couple of weeks had lapsed between.
