I'm having a hard time understanding the challenge. Is anyone doing this? The first turn is only 8 GEMS. Buy more turns for 16 GEMS.

I did the first turn...it gave me a mix and match badge (Jungle Gin) to complete. I haven't completed it yet, so have no idea what happens then. I didn't take a second turn.
I did the first turn... it gave me the BoggleBash mix and match. I did finish it. The badge occupies a seat in my MnM book and it's done. Nothing more happens. I simply have a badge that normally would not have been available until Feb, 2015. It cost me 8 gems, which is like a 50 percent off sale. Future turns cost 16 gems and you would win one of the following: tokens, gems, MnM badge. I don't think I will be playing any more as any time tokens are a possible prize for my gems, it is a poor risk in my eyes.

So sorry to hear it, S1lent! This just reinforces my original thoughts.
After my first purchase, I won 'gem packs' on my next 2 turns.
However, it doesn't show me how many gems I won and I don't see my account credited with anything.
it is like playing slots, First time gets you a badge so you keep spending 16 to try and get the other 2 challenges but after 200+ gems i got none of the others challenges just alot of lost gems and token and gempacks. Even if you win gems it is less then what you paid for the card lol 16 to play and you win only 12 gems back ( at least in all my turns ). To me it is just anotehr scam by pogo to get people to keep feeding gems to it until they get the matching challenges in a set of 3. I will not be playing it anymore that's for sure, I can just wait until they are realeased.
this sounds like another way pogo is trying to get you to buy more gems
I'm feeling so strange about all of this. It's almost as though I'm embarrassed for Pogo. I think it's shameful that they put out a game like this that seems so obviously geared toward bilking the people who give them the most support. Yes, there are probably going to be some people who will benefit well on some turns but the masses will wind up with tokens, paltry gems, or maybe the MnM badge (at full price, mind you). Tsk, tsk Pogo!

Well, I wasn't gonna post, but here it goes.
I spent:
8 Gems=Jungle Gin Badge
16 Gems=20 Gems
16 Gems=Free Card
= 2,500 Tokens
16 Gems=2 Gems
Then I quit and am through wasting Gems with them.
It's so useless that tokens are a "win". They should allow tokens to be turned in for Gems. Hell, even if it was 10 million for 1 gem at least then the tokens aren't absolutely and completely useless.

Like I said, Pogo doesn't do anything that isn't in their own best interest. I spent the initial 8 gems for a MnM badge and then quit because I have more than enough tokens to last me a pogo lifetime.

I believe so. Just go there and it will show you how many gems it will cost per turn and you have to confirm it unless you checked the box for it not to show it again.
It also says this:
Spend Pogo Gems to start unlocking the Mix-n-Match Challenges by picking cards from the deck. Your first turn is only 8 Gems and
guaranteed to unlock one of the week's three Mix-n-Match Challenges.

Yes, that is correct.
I have seen a variety of 24 badges. So I figure that we might be able to get 8 badges at 8 gems if they do it this way and we only go for the very first one. So that is 8 badges for 64 gems instead of 124 gems in my head which does not like to do math early in the day.

Today is Monday aka Mix and Magic day. I got the Scrabble one today and bet there is some sort of revolt over them being stoopid enough to put a price even just 8 gems on a game some will win but not be able to play because they live outside of the US. Pogo really should not have put a Scrabble game in this promo OR they should have something warning you that you might just spend 8 gems on something you cannot complete.
Maybe they know when someone is outside the US and fix it so they get one of the other badges? Just thinkin' out loud....

Nope, what were you thinkin'? This is Pogo and when have they ever thought ahead on something? Lots of posts in the Pogo Forums from people in the UK who got the badge. Those few who got thru to EA Help were given refunds of the gems - not one of the other badges. And many are now afraid of the Mix and Magic because there is no guarantee that they won't give more Scrabble badges. There once was a link that showed all that they would be releasing but I can't find that right now and am going out the door.

Yea, but the download is where you have to do a survey to unlock the download. Those kind of downloads are fake and dangerous to do. And what if Pogo audits your account, if you actually got a program to hack them for free gems? You not only lose your account, but may face something far worse then wasting your money to buy them legally.

Thanx for the info hi11.gif.........I don't mess around with any of that kind of stuff, but I just googled it to really see if there were programs that would let some one do it. It's amazing to me sometimes what people will come up with just to try and scam the system.

I read through the news section about it again and saw nothing about it being just 8 weeks. It will last as long as Pogo is making money off of it I assume.

I got the same badge, Crazy. I like it but would have loved to have the Payday Freecell which I am sure will make most groan when winning it. I got the message when I chose that there are 75 cards left. If they want to play it down then we would have weeks more. I think the "8" you remember is that you pay 8 gems to play.
Modified to say I found this on the ? at Mix and Magic: "Every week for a period of 7 days, starting at 12:01 AM Monday PST and ending Sunday 11:59 PM PST, we will offer a set of three new Mix-N-Match Challenges. The three Challenges will be included in a deck of 75 cards."
So it always will have 75 cards and it does not have any ending listed.

I had zero gems so I went over to Peanut Labs and did the GoGoMix 1gem transactions - 8 different ones and then got the Couples Only (discrimination at Pogo!) Badge. FYI: Typical they have the wrong wording on the info to complete the badge. States 33 Animals on Medium Difficulty using the animal puzzle set. There is no MEDIUM! There is EASY, NORMAL and HARD. You need to set it to NORMAL for this badge.

You can't reset the bingo games. You can only leave the room but then you probably have to wait in the new room for a new game to start so you can pick the B1 ball.

I got First Class Solitaire Cleared For Landing badge but saw that there is also a Zuma Slots - match 400 lines in 3 weeks. THAT will be awful to play since you will have to keep filling that bucket every 4 hours.
Good news "Lady"
I got the zuma slots. When I started I had 1,729,000 coins. I played at 200 coins per spin. After I got my badge, my total was at 1,730,090. So POGO was nice to me...this morning anyway.
Additionally, I've been trying to stockpile some coins while waiting for Peggle to be released.

I still have not even played Bej2 - how can they have an MnM where you have to buy coins to play. I got Boggle and am glad because I recently ranked out in Bej3 and do not want to see the game again for a long time.
With Bejeweled Slots, you can refill every 4 hours with 5-10K coins. They give you two weeks to complete the badge. I guess they figure you can play using the coins they give you.

I read all I could find there and it only says that you get your prize when you unlock it.
The only place I see unlock is on the home page where you scroll down to a picture of one of the badges
for the week and that is next to it. I tried clicking on that but nothing changes.
For 8 gems I got a free turn and then this gem thing and now it says 16 gems to do another card.
I don't want to spend more without knowing about the gems. I would think it would add them to your account.
but maybe there is a delay? Both times I picked the first card. Oh well, maybe someone who has won gems
will let me know what happened to get them. I had hopes of getting the pumpkin or candy corn badge for the season.
