Can't you skip it after a certain amount of time?
I have not gotten there yet but will try it today. However Crazy is right. You can click on the gold star in the upper right corner and skip it. I LOVE this part of the game especially the ones where you have to go from one side of the map to the other and connect the circuits.

I LOVE those puzzles. I'll play the same episodes over just to get to those.

Wow! I didn't know about the feature of clicking on the gold star in the upper right corner to skip it.
My auto will solve most but not those circuits.
