I might be willing to play this. I'm not a fan of the games where you MUST interact with others. I'm not anti-social, I'm selectively social.
I'd actually like to learn how to play Bridge.
Anyone know if anyone is making an auto for this game? I sent PB an auto request the other day but have not heard back from them.

The auto from BW site works.........I gave it a whirl the other nite and won 2 games ( the auto won, not me ) The old Bridgy is for the old game......I'm sure there will be an update or a new auto when the new game comes out...because of the change from Java to Flash.

Maybe you could learn by just playing it on Pogo......I learned how to play Spades and Hearts...didn't have a clue and just kept trying until I finally figured it out...now I like Spades, but Hearts not so much. I played in a private room so no one would see how dumb I was ( course that was way back in 2004 )....grown a lot smarter since then... no-no.gif huh.gif hysterical.gif And if you believe that I will also teach you how to play bridge.. hysterical.gif

I played a game today and enjoyed it. I still need to learn things like "slamming" and "rubbering" (who knew Bridge could be so erotic?). The game seems so basically simple that an auto should be easy to do.
I don't know what's taking them it shouldn't be that difficult to release lol

I just went and tried to play bridge. OMG! I have no idea what is going on. I can play pretty much every card game but have no idea with this. I went 2 clubs???? and got 5 tricks but still lost the game. Oh boy I need that auto lol.
I think this game is very similar to Spades. The biggest difference is that the trump keeps changing. Of course, there are other rules that need to be learned but it's a pretty good game, if you like card games.

Don't know how to play Bridge. I gave it a try...then read the instructions (heck I'm a guy...we don't read instructions)...well it is kinda fun. Up to rank 8. Yes, I'll buy the auto

I like the game. It's like Spades but the bidding can get tricky. I am told that the way you bid communicates your hand to your partner and there is a pattern that should be followed. I haven't figured out the pattern yet. I am rank 1.... wooo hoooo!

The auto was specifically written to do just the rank requirements for now (hands played).

Mine stops saying various things:
- Unable to save data. Please try again
- No Menu button
- No cards
- Not my turn
It really has to be watched and can't be run overnight. Are you finding the same thing?

I came on here to see if anyone was having trouble with the BW auto. All my dramas are listed. It just stops playing constantly. I wander past and click a card an a away it goes again. Definitely have to babysit it.

With Bridge it's not always the auto's fault. I find that if I try to intervene (thinking the auto is messed up) the game isn't responding at all. That's a Pogo problem.
There's been an update to the BW auto. Hopefully it will address some of these issues.

To keep mine from timing out I used CCleaner, Then along with Chrome I was able to use BW Bridgy6 and was able to have it run overnight without timing out.

You definitely want to use a bot to play the games for you. Maybe I was just unlucky, but it took over 6,000 hands played before I got it.
What I did was have the bot play all night while I was sleeping.
That final badge in TH'em was a bear!
yes I will do that as I am a yearly subscriber of Play buddy this is what happens when you quit for 8 years then come back so much to catch up on I already am at rank 14 in Bridge woo hoo lol
Good for you, TVC! I think Bridge was an easy rank-out, if I remember correctly. TH'em, Pinochle (Master badges), Pegland, many others - were all terrible for those final badges.
