I will be upgrading this forum software to the latest version tomorrow, May 23rd at 8PM PST.
The version we are using now is quite outdated, and very soon will no longer be supported. I expect the upgrade to take no longer 30 minutes. During this upgrade, you may see errors (template errors, file not found, etc) but they should last no more than a few minutes. I've been working behind the scenes for the last 10 days getting everything prepared, so I do have a game plan and should get through my upgrade checklist quite quickly.

I have my Twitter page running all the time and appreciated that last tweet. (It's what you do when you only have a land line and no way to text.)
Server upgrade complete - however, I will need to reboot the server around 10PM PST (1AM EST) to finish the changes.
The downtime will be no more than 2 minutes.

It sure did! It went smoother than expected. I did as much prep work as possible to keep the downtime to a minimum.
