I AM SO DISAPPOINTED TO SEE THIS AS THE NEW GAME OF THE MONTH! This game continually freezes up, requiring reloading of the page, etc. This is going to be torture unless Pogo did something to fix this horror.

I had the same problem about a month ago. Not sure what happened...but POGO fixed it. I tried to double browse...no luck. But, Good news with two computers no glitches. I would set one up for dummy. When it comes up again, I'll let all know what browsers worked. I used the autos from another site.

Wasn't this one of the games that was originally java - then converted to flash? I thought that was supposed to solve these issues.
I hope Pogo did fix this game. I used to like to play it all the time.
I have been feeling pretty happy to get my new computer and back to playing.
Now I hope Pogo fixed it so it won't require 2 different computers to work this out.
At least it's not a challenge and all I will be out is the free thing they will give.
I've been learning to live without a lot of the free things or badges you need to spend gems to be able to get etc. This one will just be one I can pass on also.

The last time I played (1-2 weeks ago), it depended on who won the game. I can't remember if when I won the game it froze or when my opponent (pogo bot) won it froze... but it was still happening. If you double browse or play on two puters, the other player can hold open the room while the frozen player refreshes the page. That way, you can keep your score and not have to start over. It's all a royal pain in the rump. If a change took place in the last two weeks and all is operating well, I've just wasted 30 seconds of your life - sorry.
I'm not aware of any recent changes - it's just weird those issues didn't go away once it was updated to flash.

Ran a little test while I went to get the morning paper (don't get it delivered anymore...tired of retrieving it from the roof...my paper person has a strong arm). Two different computers both using Chrome and Windows 10...ran great...granted it was just for 20 minutes.
Hope it will run for hours to complete this challenge.

Ok, that's it! I see it as a HUGE Pogo conspiracy aimed at making me go nuts! I must be getting paranoid. What browser are you using, Mayhem? Are you double browsing? Just playing the pogo bot?
I was just playing against the bots in Edge. If you wish, I can test it in Chrome and/or Firefox.

Update: I just played a 500 pt. match. I won some hands, lost some hands, won the match. No freezing. I was using Chrome. This is good news. tumbsup.gif
I completed a badge in Gin last week sometime and had no problems at all playing against the bots.
I have never really had any problems with this game except for the occasional freeze.

I just logged in with my dad's account, played a game with no challenge activated and it did NOT freeze.
I'd still appreciate it if you'd (or others) would verify if they have the same problem?

I think choosing another game would be reasonable. They have future GotMs lined up and ready; just pick the next in line and keep doing that until JG is fixed. The Pogo Forum mentions it might be a glitch in the programming, which makes it almost impossible to find. True? Dunno.

I've been told you can start earning the new ranks today. However, I'm not max rank - so can anyone confirm this?
I believe you can start earning new ranks now. I can't be 100% sure because now I am freezing again after winning a hand and I gave up.
The new ranks are active. Had no problems with the game.
This months game is suckish for me because I've never really understood how to play even with the explanations given.

I am freezing constantly. If comp wins all is fine, if I win game freezes. I have been trying to win 4o games of Oklahoma gin but it drives me nuts. Grr!! So annoyed that they know there is a problem with this game but they make it GOM.

Was able to rank out on my two main accounts. Each were playing different "dummies"...yes 4 computers. The setup can really help your progress. This is what worked for me. Pick "Don't allow knocking", "pick multi-game match", pick "700" Score that ends the match...and most importantly pick NULL "Low or High (Deadwood aces=15). Now with two autos just make one of them Dummy.
BTW mine ran for over 5 hours straight...using Chrome.

The freezing is odd. I am double-browsing, because, of course I am. One screen name Never freezes, the other freezes a lot in Torch and Firefox. I might try it in Chrome, but I cannot remember if the auto works with Chrome.
The account that freezes is fine when it loses.
Maybe Pogo is identifying the people that use programs!

I've been known to use a program or two. One day I was not freezing and then on Wednesday I was freezing. If I win a hand, I freeze.

Here is a tip that gives you another option on Freezing.
On a scale of 1 to 10 it is a 2.
Note: This is for Windows 10 users.
Right click on the Windows 10 Logo on the left side of your task bar.
Click on System
Click on Advanced system settings.
In the advance tab click on "Performance" Settings.
Click on "Adjust for best Performance".
If it is already selected click on "Adjust for best Appearance" or Let Windows choose what"s best for my Computer.
No need to reboot.
And you can always go back.
Now for the advance users, Download a free copy of CCLeaner. This really works. No need to buy the upgrade to Professional

Ok I finished my challenges and now Jungle gin is working fine. I am running it on 2 comps but the account that I dont want to win keeps winning. What is the setting on the PB auto to make one account dummy and the other the constant winner because I can't work it out??

In case anyone is wondering about the definition of frustration...
I tried playing another game of JG this morning and the cards were actually reshuffling for me! About 6 hands later and only a few points away from winning a 700 point match, the shuffling stopped.

I was able to play my "freezing" screen name on Firefox and the "good" screen name on Torch as dummy using Badge Winners. It worked fine, so Pogo must have fixed their issue, at least for my screen name. I did not ask Pogo to fix anything.

I won this overnight on my primary account. It only took a few days double-browsing, with the secondary account playing dummy. Primary played on Firefox and secondary on Torch.
The Badge Winners auto had no problems. Double-browsing did lead to "cripes" errors after six-to-eight hours of play, but this is a Pogo issue. I might try running the secondary account overnight at some point, with no double-browsing, to see how that works, too.

You have to download the auto a second time to the same folder, and create a separate shortcut for it. Also, your monitor has to be big enough to fit two games of Jungle Gin. You have to manual resize the windows and make sure it stays in the right spot.
I have been able to get that part to work for a couple of years now. I think there are instructions, but if my explanation is not got enough, ask me more questions.

All I did was play one account at a time and played the bot. Only took around 30 minutes to get badge that way. But I needed to slow down to around 30 to get the bot to stop beating me. It made it seem more human like with the slower speed. I was pretty happy to do it this way and not fool around with the dummy stuff. Especially with the way it worked so well with slowing down my speed. Hope you all got it by now.
I was finally able to rank out and get some missing premium badges, thanks to Joe's tip about Firefox. It's the only browser in which my account wouldn't freeze. Got it in about 2 days.
