It will probably take PB awhile to get the auto updated as Pogo added a lot of new play again buttons and if you use the replay level indefinitely feature you don't get rank credit for the played game.

I originally used Level 11 I think it was to rank out with the PB auto, but until they update the auto it is useless. Pogo made it where if you finish a level and click the replay button, you do not get rank credit for that game, so you have to click next to get credit. The auto only will click one of the other but will not choose the same level to play again after clicking next.

It still brings up the message that it plays through level 120, so I know it hasn't been updated yet. And it does just sit there during some levels, but I haven't reported it.
I got tired of sending in reports on Phlinx 2 - getting those stalled auto screen shots wasn't easy because the moment you move your cursor to go to the bug report, it moved the aim line on the screen, thus ruining the ability to take a screenshot of the problem. I finally figured it out how to do it, and sent them many screen shots over the weekend. So I'm done sending bug reports for now.
Have at it, Ken! It might mean more coming from you, anyway.
Ok I emailed PlayBuddy and let them know. I'll keep you guys posted.

I was able to run "Cookie Buddy" all night with no glitches. Used IE and had my Buddy set to repeat level 9. It appears I get rank points on completed games...even though Pogo only shows progress on the non-completed games. Went from level 55 with 10,000 rank points to next level. Looked at it this morning and was up to level 56. I'll get an accurate rank points per hour after I finish off Solitaire Gardens.

All of PB autos have built in screenshot ability and a place to enter your email and problem and then it uploads it to their server.

Okay, well IE and Edge are not working well in the advanced levels, and the auto doesn't replay current level or replay until x number of stars are reached in the advanced levels, either. I'm giving up on it because I don't have the time luxury of babysitting the auto.

I'm using P/buddy on Edge, IE and Chrome and have the same problem. In my case, I can't sit for long periods and babysit the auto. This is the 2nd game that gives me a problem. Maybe it's the P/buddy auto, dunno. I have 3 browsers installed and this's just one more game I won't be able to play.
I just sent PlayBuddy an email about the issues mentioned above. I'll keep you guys posted.

Well, I decided to give Play Buddy a try and not so clear on how the heck to let this auto run.
I tried over and over and it would play one game with one star. But then it would sit there and not repeat. I don't know if I need to give them more time to get this game to get out the kinks but not so good. I did play in both IE and Edge. Chrome did not work for me at all.
I also need to know how you get the game to download to launch without having to wait for 5 to 10 minutes or more to start. What do I need to do to have the set up good so it will download the different games and then I can click on the game to launch.
I am ready to put an ad out for anyone who is able to get this game to play and pay for this service. I am not having much luck here at all and would like to do it myself but need more information to do so.
Am I just too early and PB is still working on the new levels and/or old ones to get them to work? This is new to me and need some help in knowing how to get it all going and stop the lag after it will finally get going and play and lose a game but then it just sits there.

The other company that does offer to do for a service fee is swamped and not able to tak on any new people until they get caught up with the many many orders they have.
Are we just better off not playing this game so Pogo will get the message the the average player is just not having much luck in playing the game. Once I did get it loaded to play and it got to where it asked if I wanted to get 5 more moves and I said yes and paid for them with gems, I only got one move and that was it. What a waste that was.
I hope for more information to be able to do this my self or if we still have people who are pretty good at getting the game going, keep me and my offer in mind.
I have heard good things about Play Buddy and hope to be another one to say good things about them also.

I can't get this to go to any higher level then I was at the start today when first trying the auto. I will keep watch and sure do appreciate that this has been started so to help know what is happening with others and what to do.

All I know is that if you do not click next you do not, or at least I don't, get rank credit for the game. So, playing the same level over and over by clicking replay does not work like it did before the update. I have a program called AC Picture Clicker where I take a screenshot, with it, of what I want it to click, which is level 11 and give it a 2 second pause and then get the level started and start the auto. That has seemed to work. Just let the auto click next instead of the replay button. The Picture Clicker does cost money as most clicker programs do of this type.
PlayBuddy is looking in to the replay issue. Until the next update is ready, for optimum performance they suggest to use a non-maximized Internet Explorer browser.
This also had this to say about Cookie Connect :
Compared to the original game, Pogo reduced the number of moves on many - maybe most - levels. This means some levels are just plain hard, if not downright impossible without a powerup, especially for a human. When encountering such a level with the Buddy, I recommend setting and forgetting it, or purchasing an appropriate powerup.

I tried playing Cookie for almost 2 hours. It had an update that seemed to make it play better. But no advance or not one level completed. And reading your post CM. I understand why no rank credit either.
I am encouraged to see PB is working on this and trying hard. Sounds like Pogo had to go and make it more of a headache for the players and is it to make the power up purchases? Not such a good plan because players like myself did try the power up and it was for 5 moves and only got one move and that was all. So lost trust in the power up. Plus I do not really appreciate the games taking that turn anyways.
I can not hold PB responsible for the actions of Pogo. I just will not play until players do not try to play it at all and it sits with nothing for Pogo. I can't think of a better way to get the message across to them other then this way. And keep my happiness to move on to other games that are fun to play and not so hard and no fun.
I will keep checking here in case anyone posts updates with news to help.
Till then, I guess that's the way the Cookie Crumbles. sad.gif

I finally figured out how to get going after reading your message. I changed my options with different settings and this helped out too. I am stuck on level 158 with only able to get one star but will go ahead and take advantage of moving along. Most are 2 star but will take that and be happy. But got some 3 star also. Also got some cute badges. I liked those darn badges from the start. Keeps that goal in my mind to hang in there also.

If I recall properly, 158 is a really tough level. I have friends who only have one or two stars despite trying over and over. I somehow got lucky with the game arrangement, I think, because I got three stars, thank goodness. It IS possible! xoxo
I finally got it but with the one star end. I was at it for so long that I decided to take it and move on. I did get to level 170 today. I would not be there if it were not for PB this time.
And I agree that part of being successful with getting more stars is the way the board starts out.
Kind of the same for Sol Gardens. Repeat, repeat and repeat again on some levels and other times they work out so very nice with one try.
Congrats on getting the 3 stars when you got there. Always good to hear there is a chance.
I hope to get to 180 level before the challenge next week. And then go back to the one or two star levels to see if I can get those 30 levels at 3 stars to bring that up a bit and get the challenge completed for that week. Plus I will need a break from the game until then.

After posting I tried to sleep but was too hot. So I went back to Pogo to see if I could figure out more of thos levels. I got to a level in the 170's that has a block in the middle of a rectangle shape that has a cookie on the flat type of cookie that I am really stuck at. I could not get it to go so finally decided to sign out of Cookie and work the the 1000 token dailys and just do something to keep my mind busy.
The board seems to change from hour to hour making it good, then not so good and then the darn thing will go so nice and smooth. Just the way it goes.
I hope the Pogo people take mercy on us all and not make this challenge a really bad one to do.

I have never purchased power ups for the game and hope not to. If you're using an auto, let it keep playing, it will eventually happen. I've had difficulty on several levels, although which ones exactly, I don't know.
The only power up I have bought is the rolling pin. That seems to work for me.

When you go to your game and start up a level, you see on the upper right corner
the word STORE. Click on that and it will bring up a window that explains each power up
plus it tells you the cost for each. If you decide you need any power up you can then
purchase right there what fits your need.

In regards to the STORE tip, you are all most welcome. I did not want to click on it
for a long time due to thinking it was going to be a trap to HAVE to purchase something in order to get out of that store. That did not happen, thankfully.
Just had it tell me there was an update again to do this:
Fixed a bug causing the buddy to not play
Updated for edge and chrome to support pogo's recent changes
The update failed and I had to run it from the folder but said it was up to date so I uninstalled it and used the loader to install it again and it is still v2.0 so I don't know if it was one of their "Silent" Updates or what.

Gee snowflower, I sure do wish I had the know how to help you.
When I ran it all worked except I had to baby sit due to the non click on Try Again button.
But it got the job done and I am so darn glad to have this done.
I did play in Chrome and had my settings as pictured and it ran good.
I did pick the game levels I wanted so that was another reason why I kept by it till done.
But I did not have the trouble like you did.
Were you playing level one when this happened? I did have trouble playing that level over and over and it did not work. I figured all of another company only had that level to play so I think level one got over loaded.
As far as rooms with 0 players....I did not pay attention to that at all.
I wonder if there was a glitch at Pogo at the time and it needed to be fixed before Pogo got it working again. Were you able to get it going and the challenge completed?
I did find a few times of not getting credit and had to play 2 times of the same level. But I found that happening when I would try to repeat play any level 2 or more times in a row.
If I jumped around and played a different level each time then I had no problem.
I also found the first time I played at the 7am (my EST) ealy start, there were a few glitches but they soon got worked out by Pogo and all ran pretty good.
Did you start to play really early or wait until later on. I wonder why it had all the rooms showing zero players? Sounds like something was not right on Pogos end.
I hope things worked out for you and you were able to get this done.
I also remember that I picked the game level to play and did not allow PB to pick what it wanted to play. I kept it from level 2 through level 5 and would go up and down...
2-3-4-5-4-3-2-3-4-5 etc. I think you know what I mean.
I worried so much about getting this done today and so glad it is over.
And I hope you have it done by now too.
I play by hand on this one. Have not bothered with auto on this one seeing so many issues you all are having. Level one for me is easy for getting three starts if you want to play by hand.

mycat, thanks so much for all your patient advice. I don't know if it's my computer, Play Buddy autos or me but there are a few of these Pogo games or P/Buddy auto's that give me troubles. I tried getting some for you, Snowy, and I did get a few but your gate is still locked and the auto freezes on that screen, offering you a chance to unlock for gems. The only way to unlock the gate without gems is to play the game and get a minimum number of stars. Because of this, your game needs babysitting and I had to stop. When you played level 120 over and over, did the PB auto click on TRY AGAIN for you when you failed to complete the objective? Mine doesn't.

They last suggested to use a non-maximized Internet Explorer browser window. Have you try that yet?

I'll definitely try, Mayhem. Right now I'm just going for rank and the auto does not have a problem with that for several hours, at which time it freezes or scrolls down on the page making playing impossible. I just close the window and bring up a new one and I'm good for several more hours. The problem comes when I am playing the same level over and over in an attempt to get more stars on that level. I've abandoned that for now but when I go back, I'll try this with IE. THANKS

Thanks for trying Squiddy, it's just one of THOSE games .. without gems and Play Buddy's antics I'm likely lost in the shuffle. I wish this time away was for fun, NOT. I arrived home Fri. night and have tried to work on this today but am getting nowhere. Again, thanks for trying I really appreciate it. Soon time to get on the road again so I'll be leaving in a few. Don't worry about this challenge, I knew it would be like this. But you're a real sweetheart for giving it a go!! Thanks so much again...

Question: there is a Gate 15 badge. Does that gate become available on the addition of more levels or did I miss out on a badge I should have gotten?
I don't have the Gate 15 either, Inky, and I have done well with stars. I THINK we should have gotten it, but who knows? Pogo is, to use a phrase my mom loved, going to hell in a hand basket.

I received 537 out of 540 Stars and no Gate 15. Worked several days trying to get the last 3 stars...POGO wins. Off to fry bigger fish...Yum I'm hungry for Salmon.

I finally reached rank 70. I don't think I have it in me to try for more stars at this point. I have ... 530.
Is this another game like Quinns aquarium that is by design unbeatable on some levels without powerups? I have had PB auto running for days on levels like 10 and can never get more then 2 stars.
Is anyone able to get past level 424? I can't believe how difficult that level is!
