Title: Texas Hold'em
Post by: bowler_man2005 on August 29, 2004, 12:23:56 PM
are there any hold'em autos that actually play for you and not just call all the time or raise etc...? or is that way to in advance? lol

BadgeHelp.com is working on a Hold 'em auto.

From their news:
QuoteHIGH STAKE POKER UPDATE: I have a fully functioning beta, we are just working out the kinks so it works on the majority of computers. Runs quite nicely....

really?? thats cool thanks you know by any chance on average how much each program costs?
Title: Re: Texas Hold'em

Every BageHelp program is $10 except for FreeCell, (that one was a monster to make...)  so I expect for this one to be no different.  :)

cool here is a question for some people if they want to answer what does everyone have as a win % on hold'em i dont know what is good so i just wanted to see what everyone else has

Title: Re: Texas Hold'em

Play at an All In table. You move up 1 rank for every win. O0
Title: Re: Texas Hold'em
Post by: bowler_man2005 on August 29, 2004, 01:13:25 PM
dont you also lose all the time on that and all the tokies??
are you able to play for fun lobby and get rank that fast?
Title: Re: Texas Hold'em
Post by: Homer on August 29, 2004, 01:16:05 PM
Well that's the risk. Yes you can lose alot of tokens. No, your ranks will not advance as quickly in just for fun. You must be at a super rollers table that is playing all in. :)
Title: Re: Texas Hold'em
Post by: bowler_man2005 on August 29, 2004, 03:27:23 PM
i tried playing that rof kind of game lost 2mil tokens gave up lol waste of time and tokens never won one game...
Title: Re: Texas Hold'em

ROF is not the same as all in. In all in there is no folding. ;)

I play Poker (IN CASINOS) and no matter what you will only win 30-40% of the time IF everyone stayed in the hand from the begginning.

SO if you and everyone else played everyhand you will (should) win 30-40%

***This is assuming 6-10 people are playing***
obviously the odds go up with less people

Cool thing, I was in a tournament earlier this year and they kept track of your stats.  I won 42% of the time AFTER the flop.  I came in 7th if that matters  O0

Ok, The MORE that play the LESS chance of winning

The LESS that play, the More chance of winning

Poker on Pogo sucks, so odds don't mean a thing.

In the real world,
if 2 people are playing you have a 50% chance of winning
If 5 are playing you have a little less the 24%
If 10 are playing, you have around 10%

This is if everyone plays and noone folds.  Also that doesn't include the cards played, MEANING, the second you sit down those are your odds.  When the cards fly, ALL the odds change.  There are lots of different odds for every play in poker  ;D

I've been playing since I was 10, started playing for real money when I was 15.  I love it.

I wish pogo had Stud and Omaha too.

you should send that into pogo i think having omaha would be awesome becuase you get a choice of what 2 cards to use and i think it be better :) maybe no limit also

Title: Re: Texas Hold'em

i figure the all in tables are in the all in lobbies but i have a slow computer and i cant really move around much in a room with 80 or more people and the all in lobbies all have 100+ members in them :(
Title: Re: Texas Hold'em
Post by: Homer on September 05, 2004, 11:08:22 PM
Yeah they usually do. Sometimes you have to use a backdoor to get in. O0
Title: Re: Texas Hold'em
Post by: bowler_man2005 on September 05, 2004, 11:11:25 PM
i used a backdoor to get in earliar today took over a half hour for my lobby to load and 20 min to click on a seat and join the table if the seat was open that long enough then i would time out over and over so if i can find one outside of the all in lobby with not many people in it that would be cool

The only other way, would be have 2 accounts and make the one account win.

I'm doing that right now, I've moved up 25 ranks.

Someone needs to write up a nice FAQ on how.........I'm to tired

Yes, but in reality, throw that other name in poppit for a night, make 500k or so, and then those just transfer on over to your name afterall anyhow, so its really not too bad of a deal.

I have done the same thing... Whatever works...

Poppit or Turbo 21 can easily make 500K a night.  Then when the one account loses 500K and your primary gets 500K in winnings, your ranks move up fast.

Wonder why there isn't a level 100 rank though  ???

question about the no fold tables is it always set where you have to raise max or no becuase i dont like riasing max when i finally got into a no fold table they had raise max... GRR lol i hate that kind but no fold with normal raising be nice
Title: Re: Texas Hold'em
Post by: Homer on September 19, 2004, 06:04:08 AM
Yes, you must always max raise on no fold tables. If you don't everyone in the room will let you know about it. Why don't you play at a raise or fold table? Or if you just want to play regular play at a regular table. :)

Yeah, thats good...

1 tip i got here.......
You can use the Texas Hold'em Token dumper, but i really think its much easier just do double browse and dump the tokens in.. ( play in the super rollers tab ) and then YOU JUMP RANKS LIKE CRRAAZZZZYYY thats how i got the 2 badges in there and my 50 mil tokens.. lol good luck, any questions JUST POST!!!

PS> to get into a super rollers room i think you need like 300,000 tokens or more, something liek that.., good luck O0 ;)

i think so also becuase i started playing with 150k and now i at 2.5 million but only a million tokies won from hold'em but i hate how everyone plays they have no idea how to play and then when you want to sit back and think they say speed up the game and poker is not a fast game by a long shot

To get your ranks up, gotta play with the big boys in the super high rollers and take your chances at winning- The more tokens you win, the faster your rank goes up. I'm just trying for my badges- lol. That should take forever, but when I did play at the super high tables, my ranks went up fast- I'm at 60 something and haven't played in a looooong time. ;D

If you don't want to lose tokies and go up in rank fast, just do the two browser trick with IE / Netscape.  I usually do it in Low Rollers and you get like 15-18% per hand.  Just bid it up and have the sacrificial name fold at the very end.   O0

a good way to level up in the poker ranks. Is by transferring tokens using the token dumper. You will win every hand which adds to your rating  tumbsup.gif
