Last year they started on June 28th actually...Live feed chat rooms should open about the 18th..they started 10 days before the actual live feed did. Feeds usually start a day or 2 after the premier night...I am so ready....it's good entertainment when it's to hot to go outside...lol....

squid I am part of a chat group and as the old lady I get stuck doing the FB group and starting the chat room etc...I have the most free time ...so they think...lol...I always keep track of start dates etc...
I agree Squid and would like it to start sooner. But I need the break to get caught up at home with so much stuff to do along with Pogo. Having town wide yard sales soon and that has turned into so much work. Hope all my stuff sells so it will be worth it. Got to pay for 2 root canals for me and one for hubby and those things are awfully expensive. Last for me because I will tell the dentist to pull the teeth instead. Took us by surprise and we have dental coverage and that was eaten up in no time. So I guess I can hang in there and wait a month.
Glad we have you Gran to keep us informed. I remember you getting the live feed in the past. And I would wonder where you were at times during past shows and now I know it is because of what you do during that time. Congrats on doing all that great work.

it keeps me busy as it's so hot here during summer and I at my age don't do many summer outside things...Just can't take the heat any more. I always get the Live feeds....I do BB and hubby has his baseball extra innings so it works for us..I have made some great friends via BB live feed chat rooms...most are as addicted as me.....lol....I will ad this topic thread to my to do list and post info/updates as I get them...I have a friend whose nephew actually works for BB building the competition sets etc so I find out things ... lipsrsealed.gif....lol

Kind of hard to comment on the players at this time. They are all so new and this will take me a little time to see them some more to comment.
I hope to see a great season this year. And so far, the house was a big surprise especially the bedrooms. And as usual, it is hard with the start and 16 players.
I did enjoy watching and that first competition was so messy but fun to watch them bang around in that slush. I hope others liked it too. coffee.gif
I think we're off to a good start. I will say, however, that when overblown egos show up immediately, I get SOOO turned off. Swaggy C should be slapped and booted out just for giving himself that name, plus, when you consider how he keeps saying, "Of course I won, was there ever any doubt?", he goes right to the bottom of the list for me. Also, the girl who thinks she's a princess. PLEASE! I know they have to pack the house with braggarts for entertainment purposes but it turns me off. I'm hoping the egos get some good lessons in humility and that they calm down.
It's just the start. Give it a little time and things usually work on on BB.
I have a hard time watching him because he has a habit of repeatedly taking his index finger on to the tip of his tongue to get it wet and then touches each corner of his lips/mouth. He sticks his tongue out a little and then touches his finger to it. Over and over again while he listens to others speak! I did not notice this on the regular show but on BBAD on Pop TV. no-no.gif
I also question the 2 people who were put on the block. I think that was one of those " what the heck are you thinking moments"
Had to laugh when I saw a whole lot of people were up in the HOH room for a whole lot of time. That is a first for me in my history of watching BB. giggle2.gif In the past I have seem some come and go but never do I recall it full like last night.
It will get better once some of them get booted too.

I do get the POP channel to watch BBAD. I record it due to it being on so late and I can not keep awake until 3 or sometimes 4 in the morning. yawn.gif
I do find it does make it a little easier to be able to watch them in their down time and see how they really act and behave. Shaggy or whatever he calls himself now, has seemed to have lost some of his following. Not a surprise to me at all.
I agree about not wanting to touch anything he does. I noticed him taking his finger from the tip of his tongue and dab it there and go to his forehead now! Weird or what? rolleyes.gif
I still enjoy because it is something different to watch. And it's so darn hot that we have been staying in the house with the A/C running keeping us nice and cool. Not even going to see the big fireworks display this year. I fear there will be fires from the fireworks because it is real dry here. I did see on the news that some places are using drones to do the displays in the air in place of fireworks. Those are pretty nice too. But nothing like that around me.

It does not look like this is a popular show this time.
I must admit that it has not been as good as some of the past shows with players who are interesting and fun to watch.
I hope this latest HOH, Samantha, will draw a few back to the show.
She is very good and has a military style about the way she is going to run her time as HOH.
She also pointed out a couple of things that were really bothering her that the girls were doing with the guys by hanging on the guys a lot and playing games to get the guys to help them.
It was very refreshing to see some one get HOH and let them all know her rules.
For example, she said she did not want anyone in her room unless they need to use her bathroom or has asked first. Or no one is to hang out in her room. The door is locked and the key is held by her. She has made up her mind as to who is going to get put up for eviction and she didn't need to talk to anyone about this. She was firm.
I did watch the show tonight to see what the competition was like and she even took charge there too. At the almost end she was ordering Tyler (the beach lifeguard) to drop so she would win. It took a little bit of coaching but she got to where she was telling him to drop!
She was very determined to win that game and get HOH.
I must admit that a lot of the players this year are boring or just plain PSYCHO! There is one player that if anyone has checked in to the show will know who I mean.
I do record the show and watch when I don't have anything to do. And I do hope things get better with a refreshing new mind finally playing their own game with standards.
And I was told today that there is going to be another Celebrity Big Brother!
Signs of production has gotten the message to get better people on the show?????
I do miss the Janelle or Dr Will or Boogie or Paul....so many good players who really made this show a good one to see.

I like Samantha but her manner of speech is a little strange. I love that she said the HOH room is hers for the week and no one is to enter unless they are invited and she is there. That's the way it used to be. In the last couple of seasons, everyone thinks it's their room to hang out in. I agree with Samantha. She has a very disarming smile, don't you think?
I want Bayleigh gone. She is such a hypocrite. I felt so sorry for JC who making a valid point with her. She used the word midget but he's not allowed to say that "Midget" to short people is as offensive as "N************" is to black people. She went off on him, accused him of not listening when that's exactly what she was doing. I do not like her - her ego is overblown and she's downright rude. I will rejoice when she exits.
I also don't like Brett. I don't know what he was thinking when he spread that lie about Rock Star. That kind of behavior only shows how entitled he thinks he is and will only serve to be his ruin in the end. I think Rock Star's hysterics are a bit over the top.
You're right, this crowd is not interesting. I keep forgetting that Angela and Rachel are even there. Maybe that's their game play?

Sam has a real ability to watch the others and tune in to things that others have not picked up.
For example, she was talking to Hailey and Sam said she could tell she had a lisp!!! Hailey about fainted.
She said she didn't think anyone could tell she had this due to her going to speech classes in early grades of school.
She was a bit hurt to know Sam picked up on it. But she did! I have not heard it at all but then one of mine and other
friends complaints have been with how low the sound has been. I wear headphones at night for BBAD and put the sound up to the highest level it will go and I still can not hear them talking a lot of the time. This is the first year it has been this bad.
But it has worked out because I will turn it off and go to sleep for the night and see how the sound is later.
Back on topic of Lisp....Hailey was reading from that book of Hamlet,,,,I think,,,,and that is when Sam picked up on the lisp.
Oh yes...the JC and Bayleigh convo. If she would have just let JC finish his point all would have gone well. But she has a very bad habit of talking over others before they are done. Drives me crazy! I think she is going to go pretty soon. A few are getting annoyed with her.
Brett is a bully and he does not like RockStar at all. I had hopes for her but she is falling apart and not even talking with any way to follow her with her point. She is all over the place. Poor thing. Harmless but I do not see her win this game.
My favorite player is Angela. I like the way she carries herself. She is really composed and smart. She is my pick to win.

I don't even know Angela. They don't focus on her much at all, she doesn't make a fuss or cause trouble and she's not winning competitions. I hardly know she's there. I hope to get to know her a bit better.

Faysal is a few cards short of a deck if he thought that his poorly thought out maneuver wasn't going to bite him in the butt. He showed no courage at all with that mess.
Show tonight was not as good as expected. I enjoyed seeing Rachel from days gone by. She still looks the same. She was a big competition beast!
There was no need for Faysal to even win the veto.

As if she would not have done that if Fessey would not have told her he would pick her to save. She had to know he would not save her and so now she is going to try to guilt him as much as she can. I thought she had a man in real life. What the heck is she doing?
Come on...this is Big Brother. No one throws a competition. And you would think her of all people would have seen this message in her dreams or where ever she gets her so called "hits" It looked to me as if she was trying hard to win that comp.
I wouldn't be surprised to see both of them voted out.
I have gotten to know Angela more from BBAD. She does lay low but she is very level headed. Doesn't seem to like to be in the spotlight and lays low. But this is a way a lot of good players have gotten voted out because she really is not doing anything.
She has managed to get some friends and proved herself to be loyal to them but nothing big has happened to make her stand out.
I think she has some time but I do hope she does something pretty soon or she will be gone.
And I would love to know more about her too. Hopefully this will start to happen soon.

I would have liked to see Hayleigh use her hack to put Brett or Bayleigh on the block instead of Tyler. Who goes around calling themself "Queen Bay"? What a fool.

I really liked Hayleigh in the start but she has changed a lot.
I think they will have some tough times from the fans of BB when they are all done.
They are doing some pretty bad stuff like forcing Scottie to put his hand on the Bible and swear he will do what they want. Scottie was taken by surprise and did it but did not like it at all.
I hope Tyler doesn't get voted out. I find him fun to watch and he seems like a pretty nice guy.
I can't get over how the game has changed from when it first started to now.
Sam was trying to get the rest of them to not do what BB wanted them to do when the Hacker Theme was introduced but that did not happen.
I was not a fan of Brett but now that he has shown a different side I like him. He really is a pretty nice guy when he wants to be. He is pretty funny also. He told a story of how Bayleigh walked up to him while he was eating a sandwich of some kind and Bayleigh put her nose very close to it and started sniffing it. Freaked out Brett. He did not appreciate it at all. giggle2.gif It really was a Bayleigh Move that was not appreciated.
I hope there is a way for Tyler to stay but at least he did win the trip to Hawaii.
This game has really changed in a way I did not expect. Some things for the better and then other not so good. But at least it is interesting.
I had BBAD on last night and watched it from midnight to 3 while I worked on the new badges at Pogo. I usually will tape it and maybe watch about an hour at most and let it record and watch the rest the next day. It was a good night to watch it for all 3 hours.
Ok I haven't watched BB since season 1 (Anyone remember chicken man? heh).
I guess my question is has the show gotten better or worse since then? I'm starting to run out of stuff to watch and it may be fun to re visit this one.
I haven't really watched any myself since season one. I've seen bit and pieces of different seasons, but just couldn't get in to it.
You might want to revisit if you're looking for something on the tube to watch. I must admit that I was a late bloomer, just starting to watch a few years ago. I think that some aspects of production have improved (twists, etc.) but that the people are becoming less interesting. Now we have a bunch of overblown egos and whiners. I still watcch for the occasional laugh. I must have a voyeuristic tendency somewhere deep in my core that is being satisfied. Close your shades, people, Squid's out there!
Ethan are you talking about Chicken George? If that is who you are talking about....I remember him. He had a great nature about him and that made him popular.

Lots more interesting. And I guess I am like you in this show having something about it that fills some spot in my head that enjoys this type of show. Finally this years BB has gotten very interesting and holds my attention. The Hacker twist has added a whole lot of drama. And kind of sad because kind Hearted Sam is having a real hard time trying to live in the house with all that is going on. And Sam works 70 hours a week in her real life. Now that would make it and edge for her to handle BB. But she is having a hard time,
When the Hacker told the house they were the Hacker....it just has been a mess!

Lots of drama and new things being said and some true and some lies. And if you have the live feed, BB Production showed the clip of what a female was saying about another male player had said to her. He said not true and she said was true and the clip shows the male was telling the truth and the female was telling yet another lie! Good stuff if you keep in mind this is just a game.
Also there is a web site that has people posting the live feeds on the board. I like going there to read also because I have a hard time with the sound being so low and I miss out on what is being said at times. I just go and read what they post and learn everything. But things are moving now and making it a bit more fun to watch.
I LOVE that Bayleigh is on the block. If the house is smart, they will get rid of her while they can. She is a bully and a manipulator and a dictator... nothing but trouble down the line.
I can't believe the hacker was stupid enough to reveal being the hacker! What a terrible thing to do! The target on the back doesn't get much bigger than that. I hope that I get to see the hacker making the revelation. My jaw will drop. Some stuff you just take to the grave.
Angela made some big points with the crowd for having integrity to do what she said she was going to do.
I love the Hacker twist. It has added so, so much to the complexity and the switching up of outcomes. I hope they keep that twist around for a while.

Power Apps: Tyler has a one-time immunity that can be used at any nomination or veto ceremony before September 6th.
Bayleigh can secretly change nominations before a nomination ceremony any one time before final eight.
This is making me real nervous about the show tonight. Will Bayleigh use her Power Up or I wonder if she even can due to her being one of the nominations?

Hayleigh never thought this was going to happen. She layed out on the hammock talking to Fessie, her boyfriend, for a long time about it. At first when she told him she was going to call a house meeting and tell everyone, Fessie said no do not do it. But then as they talked more things changed to yes do it. But I do agree Squid that she lost control of that meeting and it all went down hill from there.
I do like Angela a whole lot. She has such class and it showed when she would try to talk to Bayleigh and all Bayleigh wanted to do was scream at Angela like some crazy woman. Angela would just say I am not doing this and walk away. And that made Bayleigh even madder.
Bayleigh was in such a rant with the house meeting that she bit her lip and it started to bleed. Dummy!
Yep, Hacker twist did put some energy into the show and the added power ups also.

Bayleigh couldn't use her power app because she has to use it before nominations. Nominations already occurred and she never saw this coming. That woman needs psychological help. She is so entitled that she goes into a rant every time she doesn't get her way. It's all about her. She doesn't truly care about anyone but herself. She really and truly is childish. I am so glad that she's gone and only regret that she didn't get ousted before jury house. Now I still have to see her once in a while since she isn't going home.
I think Hayleigh did SUCH a stupid thing by admitting she was the hacker. I also didn't understand everyone's hateful attitude toward the hacker. They all were taking the hacker so personally. It's been made part of the game and, if they had won, they would have used each and every power themselves. People react so strangely sometimes.
I didn't know Hayleigh spoke to Fessie about being the hacker. She lied to Bayleigh, then, by telling her she had told no one else. Why fess up about being the hacker if you're going to lie about other points? So friggin' weird.

Hi, BBAD was a bit on the shady side. I think Haleigh got a bottle of wine in her gift basket and she decided to drink it. She was in a very poor mood and spoke to Fessy like he was a real jerk and was so mean to him. He did speak up but it didn't matter.

Fessy leaves the HOH room and in comes others. Haleigh is in the tub during the Fessy assault and then when others came in the room to talk to her. One of the people were Tyler. Haleigh is talking to Tyler and all the while she is doing different flirty ways to turn him on. He was well aware of what she was doing and it did not take him long to get away from her and go sit by the bed. Haleigh did have some type of clothing on and not naked. Thankfully. But if she wasn't coming on to a guy then she was in an argument with them with Fessy being the target.
She is a mean drunk and out of control. A side that I have not seen of her before. Sad.
But, it all ended well for Haleigh because Fessy came back and was talking to Haleigh and the camera went to another room. And in a little while the camera came back to the HOH room showing Haleigh and Fessy playing kissy face under the covers. Can't make up this stuff.

I've seen a real change in Hayleigh. She started out all coy and demure but has gotten a bit ugly with the passage of time. I think underneath it all, she's cutthroat! Fessy just likes the cute blonde, i think.

I think you are right about Haleigh. I wish she wasn't so mean to Fessy. She talks to him in a mean tone and way. I don't see them as being together after the show.

I have mixed feelings. I would like to see RockStar stay because she would be easier to beat later. Kacee is a strong player and if she stays she will be a lot harder to beat compared to RockStar. I think Kacee could beat Tyler.
And I like Kacee better. So I don't think I will be picking a side this week. I'll sit back and enjoy the show.
I wasn't crazy about Rockstar. All that bravado followed by all that crying...
Kacee called it exactly - the votes were 5 to 1.
I'm not warming up to this crowd very much. I have no favorites at all. I'll just let the chips fall where they may.
I do like JC. I think he's adorable.

JC is very smart. In the beginning I did not like some of the stuff he was doing.
But he has settled in and acting lots better. I felt bad for him in this last HOH comp.
His little legs were going to do just so much. No way was he going to be able to compete with the others.
This comp was made for Fessy. It has been on the show in the past and very hard.

I stayed up from 1 until a little after 3 in the morning to watch all of BBAD. Tired today but it was worth it.Lots of interesting things going on.
So, Fessy won the HOH? The show ended with the comp still going on. He was quick from the onset. I couldn't believe he was as fast as he was on that Crisco! LOL

But he did have a very sore back after it was over.
They were all very sore and hunting for the pain medication that BB provides.

I think Fessy is not very bright. I can't believe he put Scottie on the block. Even if you're not 100% sure of Scottie, you ARE 100% sure of other people not being on your side. I think he is playing this game and his HOH in a very emotional manner. I also think Scottie could have explained to Fessie a bit better regarding the manipulation of Brett by saying he was the one to vote to keep RockStar. Fessy is unable to completely see through that. It was a bonehead move to put Scottie up. He may have doomed his alliance by doing that.
I wish JC had gotten the 5K. He didn't fill the small cylinder. I know that little guy is super manipulative but he's too adorable! I love his accent, especially when he's trying to talk in a Texan accent. LOL
Haleigh tried to get him to listen to her about his decision and why it was bad. But he is stubborn. I see Haleigh being a lot nicer to Angela and I know it's because she has to make a move to be liked by them.

And speaking of Sam.....She is out of smokes and is in a very grumpy mood due to no more.
I feel for her. She has been cleaning everything in the house. I love seeing her give her "LOOK" to others in the house. It cracks me up for some reason. Hope she can snap out of it. I would like to see her stay and not get put up on the block and get booted. If that does happen, the others will find out fast just how much work Sam had been doing around there.
I don't recall seeing anyone cook a decent meal. I may be missing that but it is a cereal or granola kind of snack food.
Kind of sad to see Scottie go. He messed up too many times and it caught up to him.
Brett is growing on me and I am surprised I wrote that just now. When Winston was there in the start and Brett was his best buddy, Brett seemed to come off as a smarty wise mouth.
Now he has grown into a fun guy to watch. He comes up with some of the funniest stuff too.
I wonder what the next surprise BB will have to come? I hear talk about double eviction.

I was sorry to see Scottie go, too, but, you're right, he had too many slip ups. Not objecting more forcefully when Brett claimed to keep Rockstar was one of those times. It made Fessie doubt him. I like Scottie, sorry to see him go.
I can't believe I'm typing this.... but... I agree that sometimes Brett is pretty funny but his ego is so, so, so overblown that I don't want him anywhere near winning. I keep wanting to correct his awful grammar, too. I yell at the TV sometimes. LOL
Are contestants supposed to bring enough cigarettes to last them the whole time? Big Brother won't pick some up for her? Family can't send some for her? I remember thinking that she sure smokes a lot... early in the season. She always seemed to have a cigarette lit when she's outside.
I'd go crazy on a junk food diet. I'd have to cook a meal once in a while. No one says you have to cook for everyone, right? No one else is stepping up to the plate. The only veggies I've seen this season are the ones in the pantry. They never seem to go away.

Haleigh will be ousted but Sam will be next. Out of the remaining houseguests, I guess I would like either Kacee or Tyler to win. Tyler really has played the game. Kacee skated for a while, staying low on the radar, but is now playing the game. I like them both - they don't irritate me like some of the others. LOL.
