Pogo Bowl HD is now available to play on Pogo!
At long last, one of the most heavily requested Pogo games returns! Pogo Bowl HD brings improved performance and remastered graphics to the multiplayer classic.
Pogo Bowl HD was a huge labor of love for us, and the team worked extra hard to make this game even more special. While the gameplay remains true to the original, Pogo Bowl HD has been updated with beautiful new retro-style graphics and lots of improvements.
What's new:
- New control options! Play with the same controls from the original, or use the new tap-based controls to more carefully aim and control the bowl. You can switch between the two options from the Settings menu.
- Meet Roberto and Trish! They'll show you around the bowling alley and introduce you to the Pogo Bowl HD controls.
- If you need help learning the basics of bowling, the new How to Play guide has you covered. You can find it by pressing the "?" button.
- Club Pogo members can climb the ranks by earning Bowl Points. You earn Bowl Points by knocking down pins, including special gold and silver pins, by winning the Strike It Rich pool, or during the Intermission.
- Club Pogo members get a new Intermission mini-game, where they can earn extra Bowl Points. Free players will see an ad during this time. The Intermission can optionally be disabled when Club Pogo members play together.
- Don't have a Pogo account? Make sure to register for free Pogo to unlock more multiplayer options and chat with other players.

How do I start a game?
- Load the game
- Click on the "Play" button
- From the main menu, you can decide on Quick Play, Find a Game or Host a Game
- Select one of the three options to get your game started!
Are there any power-ups in the game?
- There are no power-ups in Pogo Bowl HD.
How do Ranks work in Pogo Bowl?
- You can climb the Ranks by collecting Bowl Points.
How do you collect Bowl Points?
- Club Pogo members can collect Bowl Points by knocking down pins, especially silver and gold pins. You can also play a mini game during the intermission and collect more Bowl Points.
- If you knock down silver or gold pins with a Spare, there'll be extra Bowl Points on top of the basic amount. If they're knocked down with a Strike, there'll be even more bonus Bowl Points!
Can I turn off the intermission?
- Yes, if you are a Club member, there is the option to turn off the intermission in the settings Menu.
How often does Intermission happen?
- Once a game after frame 5.

- Please click on the "?" button to bring up the helpful How to Play guide, including visual examples. This button is located on the lower-left of the main menu. You can also replay the tutorial anytime for a refresher on the different control options and gameplay basics.

Is it just me or is it harder to bowl in this new version?
There is a bit of a learning curve. I use the classic way to bowl rather then the other.
It's a bit different. I'll play around with it to find my groove. I like how you can get a fast ball without being hasty. Graphics look pretty good.
Buddy is Updated

The buddy plays well, but I had to change a setting in the game to get it to work.
The buddy says:
Does not play the tutorial
Works with Classic control (Drag to aim) only
Make sure your PogoBowl settings for control is set to Classic

For some reason I always miss the directions on the buddy load screen.
Make sure you play the intermission version because I believe the game rank goes by pins knocked down and you can get about 50 in the intermission.
I may have spoken too soon. I'm using a new mouse and after adjusting the DPI settings, it's almost back to the way I'm used to it.

I think I like this version better though. It seems easier to bowl now that I'm used to it ... or it might just be the new mouse I'm using.
For me it is easier due to the screen size being bigger. I can actually see what I am doing.
Yes, that also makes a big difference.
I just played the daily challenge and I am amazed that a pin can teeter to an angle of 45 degrees and still manage to right itself!
