I'm the same way! I ignore progression and try to only check once per month.
I do check because I don't want to waste pogis. I don't make gold level but will frequently get to silver by an exact pogi count. I feel an odd achievement in doing that.
I find if I focus too much on it, I'll get discouraged about my progression.
I feel the same way. I just keep going and it does go by faster if you are not constantly looking at it.
Speaking of progression ... this might be my best start, and I'm not even really trying.
I am moving along as well. I just keep doing what they give us plus a few extra badges.
Yeah, they gave us a lot to do at the start so that really helped.
We are just over a 1/3 of the way through the constellation. How is everyone doing so far?
All these badges available I am at the bottom half of silver.
I'm just at the top of silver. I hope to make silver gems by the end of the constellation.

I just completed silver in my primary account. I checked S1lent's listing of pogis needed for gold. Have they increased the requirement? I only have 21 days to make gold and am not sure I'll have what it takes. Eeeek!
I am all the way down the bottom of the gold. I did extra badges here and there not sure what requirements were on the last one so I could not say if they changed what is needed.
I think I'm going to go for it. Plus, we don't know what Pogo will be tossing our way after the 14th; we might get more pogi gifts.

Helps to "Bank" those Wednesday's challenges. Pogo offers (for a price) lots of Badges...especially the Platinum Badges. The free "GOTM" challenges are only worth 1200 total pogis.
