DEATH VALLEY, CA — Death Valley, once again, lived up to its name over the weekend with temperatures that climbed above 120 degrees, shattering a 101-year-old record.
According to AccuWeather, the high temperature in Death Valley soared to 122 degrees Saturday, shattering a record high for the day set in 1921. On the day before, the mercury reached 123 degrees on Friday.

Awful. And it will only continue to get worse unless we get serious about our treatment of the Earth.

I can't even imagine how hot that must feel .. I thought 105F was extreme when that heat wave hit here a few years back.

It was 103 on my covered patio today. Awful. My poor fur babies were miserable. I have a new puppy, a Golden, and with the hair all she did was lie there and pant. I was trying to get her to go potty outside but none of us wanted to leave the patio. She pottied 4 times in the house. crying10.gif
I feel your pain! It only made it to 95F here today, but it felt like 100+ with the humidity.
It's only going to get hotter as the week progresses here.
I can hardly stand it.
