I have a problem with this. The buddy only plays blue but the game always auto chooses green for me.

No, but I did email them.
I'm wondering if there is a way to change what color I am playing as.

I figured out how to fix this. There is a color pallet and mine was on green. I changed it to blue and the buddy works.
They also put out an update.
Buddy is working good.
