I don't think so. I think S1lent stumbled upon them. I would like to see a new game or two... and maybe a couple of popular ones that were removed from the list.

No, I've not seen any mention of them until s1lent posted it. With that said, it appears that these are just old retired games.
I don't remember them, although Gardenscapes sounds vaguely familiar.

These are not new games. There are old games with badges. I checked my collection and basically they put all games in here that had badges associated with them.
Yeah, it looks like all the retired games are listed in there.
I guess if it's a game that gave out game awards, it's in there.
I just got notified that the badge collection is live.

Yes, the new games that are coming soon are Clue, Solitaire Home Story and Merge Academy.
I think it's hilarious that the balloon with the GIANT TEN on it has: Achieve Rank 50 to earn this badge. Interesting info! Thanks.

LOL, they REALLY want you to work for it.
Nice to see that CLUE will be coming back. It was really the only HOG I truly enjoyed. Some others were ok, some not.
Nice to see two NEW games are coming. I hope I like them. Lately, the games they've been bringing on board are not attractive to me, to put it nicely.
