My cat used to do this very same thing ... thankfully, he was white with large black spots so he stuck out like a sore thumb.

It was still a bit dangerous, as he would trying to grab any foot that passed over him.

Awww, I had a cat like that.   He was a big, orange tom that was dumb as a bag of rocks.  He was the most loving and affectionate cat but could walk into walls if he wasn't thinking.

While at the store I saw this bird shopping for birdseed.

I've had 3 cats and all of them were as sharp as a tack. They knew how to open doors, turn off the lights, etc. The one I had when I was a kid used to meow at the ceiling light when he was ready for a nap. If I ignored him, he would jump up and turn off the light switch himself.

That's awesome! They should have a bird feeder in the store.

When I had the big, dumb tom, I also had his brother, who looked nothing like the orange one.  The brother could do algebra, I would almost swear!  So smart.

Love the bird, lol

That's a big bird!  I think they are the ones who have to have a running start to get airborne.  They even run on the water!  Nature is cool.

Mayhem

That I did not know! The running start makes sense .. just look at the size of it's body.
