I prefer 2 but usually do 1, due to haste.  I do #3 for the dog's towels so I always know whose is whose.

So true!  Inattentive driving is one of my pet peeves.  I want to bring back firing squads.  Too much?

I wonder how many accidents are caused because of cruise control. My husband uses it all the time and I hate it. It's one more way that allows for inattentive driving, and slower foot on the brake response time.

I never use cruise control. I always want to feel in control of every aspect of driving.

My car is an automatic, but I drove standard for over 15 years and wouldn't mind going back to it.
