George Jones, legend in country music, dies at 81

   

George Jones, a hard-living honky-tonk singer whose piercing, emotive voice spawned countless imitators and whose marriage to Tammy Wynette was one of the most turbulent in country music, died April 26 at a hospital in Nashville. He was 81.



George was my very favorite country singer............. sad.gif     sad.gif     sad.gif

The memorial to George Jones is so sad! I applaud his wife for allowing this so all his fans could watch too that couldn't be there!   angel19.gif angel19.gif
