Did you know that we do not always get the same word? Somebody on Facebook was talking about it and so I looked it up and there are some days when people get different words.

If they are going to the NY Times Wordle game, it is the same word for everyone.  If they go to a different game (and there are a lot of them now), they get a different word.  Also, make sure the number of the puzzle is the same.  For instance, today's NYT Wordle was puzzle 300.  You can't compare 300s to 298s or other numbers.

So I found this article and it explains why some people get different words for Wordle. Not a variation of the game, but the original Wordle.  It's not supposed to happen, and it can be changed, but it does happen.

I just heard on the news tonight that there used to be an archive of Wordle words you could go to if you missed a day or didn't correctly guess the word one day, but after NYT bought Wordle they had that archive taken down. Many people are unhappy.
